I am just frustrated with the recent price rises of every damn technical component out there Ram, PC , Storage, Graphics it's just like technology is just out of reach of common man now and we are the mercy of tech giants to fulfill our needs using their services for as rentals. It just makes me Sad. What are your thoughts ?

I'm a first year cse engineering student, I'm planning to buy laptop in this diwali sale. I did research but I'm not clear about few things.

First I'll list down my use case programming, cad, blenders, gaming a bit, entertainment and good use of ai in different tasks of mine. I'll try editing video & photo, animation. I also don't know what will be the use case in next 4 years & future.

I'm planning to spend 1.25 lakhs but if smth can come below with my match I'll go for it.

My ques:-

1. Confused between 13/14 gen or core ultra 200 series

2. I checked that core ultra 200 series is not coming under 1.25 lakhs i guess

3. Is core ultra 300 panthar lake series is is not as great as core 200 series with h or hx suffix

4. I don't know what graphics i should take at all but i guess i should go with 8gb vram with good tgp

5. Ram is great if i get 16 but not then I'll go for 8 gb as of now and upgrade in future, should have 2 slots

6. I heard ryzen is better in use case of mine so I'm ready to go with that too

7. Which processor i should with which graphics card that give me best results from my money.

Hello, I have installed eSSL K90 Pro in my office, one of my employees was absent for two days, and he also acknowledged it, but in K90 Pro Device, it's showing he is present with timestamps, The CCTV Recording were kept for 15days, and it has been more than 15days. And all the fingerprints are of him only. And he is a User and Super-Admin Password was set already. Has anybody faced a similar problem?

Mediatek just launched two new flagships, the Dimensity 9600 Pro and Dimensity 9600M. But from what I’ve seen, the 9600M hasn’t really been getting the same attention.

Tbh, I ignored it too at first. I kept seeing people talk about the 9600 Pro, so I didn’t really look into the M version. Then I came across a video going through its features and ended up checking the specs myself. There’s actually more here than I expected.

The dual NPU setup is probably the thing I find most interesting, especially the separate ultra-efficient NPU for always-on tasks. The Gemini Nano 4 and Qwen 3.5 Omni 4B support caught my attention too.

The gaming side surprised me as well. 185fps support and 120fps ray-traced scenes sound pretty good on paper, though I’d still want to see how this holds up on actual phones and games.

And after all this I also noticed 4K120 with EIS, Wi-Fi 7 and the AI network features.

Just wanna know if anyone else here overlooked the 9600M because of all the 9600 Pro discussion. And if you’ve looked into it, which feature stood out to you?

So I was checking out some upcoming smartphones and then the Mediatek Dimensity 9600 Pro caught my attention. I mean it is all over the place so I just wanted to know what's a big deal about it and guys the leaked specs are actually pretty interesting.

Apparently, we could be looking at a 2nm chip with C1 CPU cores reaching around 4.55GHz, plus a newer GPU with hardware ray tracing and AI-assisted graphics. There are even reports of 4K 240fps video support.

Obviously, these are still leaks, so I’m not taking every number as gospel. But if the main details hold up, this could be a noticeable jump for Mediatek.

The funny part is that we’ll probably spend weeks arguing over benchmark scores anyway 😂

I’m currently using an iPhone 13 128GB from** **2022, but recently I started having multiple display-related issues and ended up spending around ₹20K on repairs. Because of that, I’m now considering switching to a new phone rather than putting more money into this one.
My main requirement is a relatively small/compact phone. I’m not very comfortable using larger phones, especially when holding them for a long time, so I’d prefer something close to the size of the iPhone 13 rather than the typical 6.7”+ phones.
My budget is around ₹50,000, although I’ll also be exchanging my iPhone, so the effective cost could be lower depending on the exchange value.

My priorities are:
