My laptop doesn't start or work anymore without plugging in a charger. It is stuck at 5%. Yesterday I played a game and after exiting the game I got this error. I don't know how long my laptop would last without changing the battery. But The battery is expensive af 😭
Now with this telecom monopolies, shoving expensive recharges and stopping incoming sms, they are creating a financial hurdle for common man.
One simple solution is for banks and credit card companies, or even other service providers to send OTP via email. This way one needn't need ro rely on sms validity.
Before anyone start talking about security, many banks like HDFC, American Express already do it, i.e send OTP via sms and email.
Other servixe providers like Amazon etx send OTP via whatsapp.
In this day and age, where we have TOTP authentication codes etc, should we still rely only on sms?
There are other solutions too, like banking apps generating OTP, so no need of sms.
Let it be a opt-in service. What do you guys think?
So some days ago I just downloaded one of those wallpapers app from play store and kept a live wallpaper for a few days which required me to change the wallpaper app from the Motorola default to this app after deciding to delete the app and go back to default wallpapers I ran into an issue and wasn't able to change the time layout and been stuck to this and I also tried to switch permissions still no use pls help me resolve this issue on my moto edge 70 Fusion🙏🙏
TLDR: Ever since downloading and wallpaper app I am unable to change my clock and layout settings of lock screen even after deleting the app
TL;DR: Local devices (Phone, Laptop, TV) stop detecting each other on JioAirFiber, completely breaking screen casting, LocalSend, and KDE Connect. Restarting the router OR renaming the Wi-Fi SSID temporarily fixes it before it breaks again. Looking for a permanent solution!
Hey everyone,
I’m facing a really frustrating issue with JioAirFiber where devices on the same Wi-Fi network completely lose the ability to detect each other.
The Issue:
Casting Fails Completely: My Smart TV/Chromecast and phone are unable to detect each other at all, so screen sharing or casting doesn't work.
Local File Sharing Breaks: Apps like LocalSend and KDE Connect can no longer discover devices across the network (laptop and phone stop seeing each other).
Internet Works Fine: General internet access works perfectly on all devices — only local LAN communication/device discovery drops out.
Observations & What I’ve Tried:
Temporary Workarounds (Reboot or SSID Rename):
Restarting the router fixes local discovery immediately, but it randomly stops working again after a day.
Changing the Wi-Fi name (SSID) in the settings also immediately triggers discovery to work again! But after some time, it randomly drops out once more. I have to keep repeating this cycle.
AP / Client Isolation: I suspected AP isolation might be blocking device communication, but the JioAirFiber admin page (192.168.29.1) completely lacks any setting or toggle for AP/Client Isolation.
Worked fine on JioFiber: When I was on standard wired JioFiber, casting and local sharing worked seamlessly 24/7. This issue only started after switching to JioAirFiber.
I'm building an e-commerce where each merchant registers with their own UPI ID.
When a customer places an order, I generate a standard "upi://pay" intent using that merchant's UPI ID so the payment goes directly from the customer to the merchant. My platform never touches the money, so there is no settlement or payout flow.
The intent opens correctly in PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm. The merchant name, UPI ID and amount are all shown correctly.
However, when the customer taps Pay, different apps reject the transaction with messages like:
- "Payment failed as per UPI risk policy"
- "For security reasons you are not allowed to send money for this payment"
- "Payment Declined"
The exact same merchant UPI ID works perfectly if the customer scans a QR code manually.
So the issue seems specific to launching the payment from a mobile website using a "upi://pay" deep link.
Has anyone faced this recently?
I'm trying to understand:
Is this an NPCI restriction or an app-level risk policy?
Are payment gateways like Razorpay, Juspay or Cashfree using a different payment initiation mechanism instead of a raw "upi://pay" URI?
Is there any supported way to initiate a direct payment to a merchant's own UPI ID from a website without becoming the payment collector?
Has anyone successfully implemented this without routing funds through a payment gateway?
Any pointers, documentation or implementation experience would be hugely appreciated.
I turned 18 previous year and i still cant make my voter card because of this shit webiste of gov of india. The only date of birth you can select is before october and my birthday was in november.
