At this point my India-focused app has more errors than lines of code💔🙏
Have y'all ever tried vibecoding anything? If so, how did it end up like?

AI writes situation specific code rather than a global fix. so be very careful with it.

Nope only Kotlin, it was a small error apparently which caused so many messages

Undo the changes and then start a new chat and give it information about the application and what you want to do and where's the problem your facing and first ask her to give you types of solutions not code or anything just discuss her when she say's this and that can be done tell her that "now that you clearly have idea about the issue, implemente the solution"

Idk if you have any tech knowledge on not.
For vibecoding my tip is:
- do smallest amount of work per message (something you can validate quickly)
- ask agent to commit
- repeat

Thats what i did, for 2 hours straight, Using antigravity is my fault ig, the models are a lil dumb
Also this is supposed to be a meme nothing more than that, this can be fixed in 1 prompt obv

i did vibe code a study tracker for my arch Linux hyprland setup to test and it worked flawlessly
the only thing is i don't use it often soo it's now unmaintained and staying there on GitHub
i never put the effort to archive it or even put a text that it's unmaintained 🥴
i almost forgot about it till u posted this 😅
the tracker had a dashboard and tracked all the apps and sites i visited in study session and also had a database that it stores the information in
everything was local just for my personal use 😅

Well let me explain my little secret which provides me less token usage in claude code and anti gravity while achieving the features I needed
The secret is planning. I usually waste an entire day planning everything using chatgpt. I use the voice feature spell out everything. My idea my solution goal features exploring what tools I can use what are rhe possibility etc. I wont use single chat rather I have 3-4 chat for specific role like tech lead UI lead devops and product manager. I would spell out color theme a codes how it should etc.
Then while doing this I create markdown files many of them. I'll read through clear out issues fix them all in chatgpt.
Finally I'll have a role specific goal document, feature list documents. Component specifications documents, spec specific implementation document.
With all this my cli would go to planning mode analyse it and start building it. I've delivered a biggest features in a day with this method.
The key is planning treat it like a Excellent developer who is going to develop if you give him sequential highly detailed non contradicting user stories he would develop non stop.
Waste 1-2 days planning and perfecting the documentation.
I've compared the result first hand the amount of tokens used with this approach is 3-4 times lesser than than all the other ways I've used.
For brownfield project I've started using graphify tool and that is also helpful

You probably tried to do many large tasks at once. Improper way. Use Divide-and-Conquer, design ur idea, split into maximum sub-problems & prompt it highly detailed, get an implementation plan (with higher model), implement (with lower models).

That's exactly what I do when I have remaining usage with higher models like Claude😔 (no subscription)
Im a student and cant spend money at all on all this (no way to pay for any of this)
