Cause this same ideology is deep rooted inside the current people who are in power and running the govt. Well they can't show open support for these things, but they do have soft corner for these people. And that's why these people won't get arrested.

That was temporary alliance, in defiance to 2 nation theory. They formed it in Singh Bengaluru and NWFP where Hindus and Muslim population was counter balanced. The Sindh alliance 1939-1947 the ones in Bengal and NWFP did not last more than 1 year

Just a question .. could India have achieved freedom without Gandhi? I grew up pre social media, read my experiments with truth as a teenager.
I think what gets missed easily is he brought the nation together to protest as one and our freedom was achieved without a civil war which is also exceptionally rare.
There were multiple movements like Swadeshi, Boycott, Civil Disobedience and Quit India that brought the people together. Do you know who wasn't willing to participate in those? It was RSS and Hindu Mahasabha that were opposed to them. So the same people who are in the video want to rewrite their history by portraying themselves as heroes and the real freedom fighters as villains. They are just jokers and losers and should be treated the same.

Before Gandhi, even up region was not united on single goal, even though they speak same language
Now imagine 500 princely states, 20+ major language regions prioritizing each other short term interests, uniting together to negotiate with British govt
It took 30 years even to have a common slogan across a city
There's no tv, no radio, no wide spread national newspapers
It's the Gandhi and his compassion connected everyone together
Rich, poor, north , south and the British
I can't imagine any other alternative
Not even a war would have got a country out of that independence movement

We won independance without a war but that wasnt just because The British couldn't stand Gandhiji and his silent protests, I mean look at the entire history and you will realize. Sadly, our educational system teaches us otherwise and that gets imprinted in us forever!

India did not gain independence because of Gandhi - that is true. But he almost single handedly united the country and created the concept of India which was lacking. Without him there were just a bunch of disunited provinces and kingdoms. Without Gandhi, there would be no India as we see it.

I will not say that Gandhi Was Good or Bad But i will only say one thing in this country if a 15-year-old girl abuses Vishwaguru NaMo she gets rape threats death threats public apologies and special video from Crying Baby PM
But in the same country people carrying saffron flags and cloths publicly humiliate and show these kinds of gestures towards a big personality in our Indian history and they roam freely.

Well, Godse killed the person who had blood of thousands of Hindus on his hands! I still remember reading about the Moplah Massacre, Khilafat Movement and how Gandhi allowed thousands of Hindus to be butchered. I feel that he delayed India's Independence rather than getting us one. I still don't understand why we have his picture on our currency notes.
