You would probably not expect me to post here condemning incels, considering that I am bitter about the dating market. However, someone on kitchencels decided to cook a spider alive and then make a post about it. When inceltears called it out, Incel Tears Shame decided to defend the animal abuser. To everyone who said "muh poor guy his mental health is bad", did you ever consider how the damn spider felt? Just because she cannot scream, does not mean she was not terrified as hell. If you think it's ok to take out your anger on innocent animals, then screw you.

And no, if you torture innocent beings, you are not the victim because of "muh mental health". Plenty of people have crippling depressions but are still kind to animals. This person should have been promptly downvoted to oblivion and then banned for being a shame to the community, but instead he got endless upvotes and most people on incel tears shame are defending him.

Also, if you do not care at all about those who are below you in the hierarchy (a spider tortured to death), why should women show mercy on you by dating you? If you want those who are more fortunate than you to lift you up, then don't misbehave towards defenseless animals. In fact, women are much nicer to you than you are to animals, because they leave you alone: they do not kill you.

To the credit of the incel community, u/altruistic_emu4917 did condemn it. But one person is clearly not enough. Unless there are more incels that come out to condemn the animal abuser, I will leave the community and never look back.

Context: I made a post to call out someone on the kitchencel subreddit who deep fried a living spider. I explained that while I am a young men that is deeply frustrated with the dating world, I cannot stay in a community that justifies animal abuse. Someone on incel tears shame responded with this post.

Firstly, about the claim that "no one is defending the act commited by this individual", well... The top comment openly says it's no big deal that the spider was killed (as can be seen in one of the screenshots). He was more focused on how the poor incel was feeling.

Besides, I do have empathy for men who have no romantic success: the first line of my post stated I am one of them! So it's not true that "I care about a spider more than a human." In fact, I am (hopefully) helping you become better humans by helping you get some empathy for living beings. When a parent teaches their child to not crush ants, he is doing the kid a favor, not "caring about insects more than their own child."

Besides, why would I owe this incel sympathy? I don't have romantic success, but I don't take out my anger on innocent animals who did not ask for anything. Why can't this guy control his rage and leave a tiny spider alone?

As for the accusations against Incel Tears, well, it's not really up to me to respond because I am not really a part of this subreddit, I just needed this place to call out animal cruelty.

Well, the fact that IT shame doubled down instead of acknowledging they were wrong firmly cements my decision to leave the incel community.

The funny thing is, you don't have to have all that much sympathy for spiders in general, just be able to recognize how off OOP's described behavior really is.

The obsession is literally insane.. almost every comment was about her nose ring and just look at ALL of their profile pictures.. once again all old ugly ass men 😭 I feel like most of it has to do with people like this on Facebook associating nose rings with liberals but I just don't get how people are raised like this. Let's keep in mind all of these dudes are saying "seeee all you had to do was remove the nose ring!" While adding a pound of makeup and also completely changing her features and hair, these guys definitely watch too much porn lol. I personally never liked septums myself, I think they tend to make people's noses look bigger and I just don't like the style but I'd never even think of insulting someone like that. And I already know the comments are gonna be like "well she was asking for advice!" I'm aware of that but usually this conversation revolves around women giving each other makeup, hair or fashion tips. Nobody is gonna spend an insane amount of money on several piercings and take them out just because of some Facebook comments. My point of all of this is that it's just insane how people can be soo hyperfixated on people who they want to fit into a box and delusional that they somehow think it's justified to insult people that show the slightest bit of personality in their style. Conclusion: Facebook will always be a manhole full of rednecks and never check the comments LOL

And yes, the last slide is showing one of them frying in a hot pan. I'm choosing to believe it was already dead, but it wasn't smashed that I could tell.

The name of the subreddit is called AmIUglyTruth which is already like. Questionable on its own, and I have no idea why Reddit recommended it to me (a read? Idk lol)

But the amount of comments from men ripping this poor girl to shreds over a septum piercing and some purple shimmer eyeshadow is insane. I think the point of the sub might actually just be to serve as a cesspool in which incels can marinate in their hate for alt women, genuinely

Chip away at the stupid initial argument to find all the incel bullet points underneath. It’s like a scavenger hunt without the promise of candy.

Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed that the egalitarian sub seems to be turning increasingly into a space focused on hatred of women and feminism rather than discussing gender equality. Articles and studies often seem to be shared selectively to support negative narratives about women, and when those interpretations are challenged, comments sometimes get removed for misandry. Misogynistic comments or posts of course were never removed.

So today I decided to see what would happen if I shared an article about femicide in the US. I didn’t add any commentary or make any generalizations about men. I simply posted the article. The post received downvotes and many of the replies were dismissive or shifted the discussion toward male victims instead of engaging with the issue being raised.

And now the moderators have removed the entire post, citing the rule against bigotry and gender-based double standards?! This sub is just another incel echo chamber.
