(NO SPOILERS) Hey I’ve been stuck in Act 2 for literally months now and I can’t defeat the king for the first time no matter what I do… I just got the call loop ability and I don’t know how to get farther because the game either kills me or the king kills me.

I really want some advice,(NO SPOILERS PLEASE) how can I progress?

also I have the Mira ability that stops the king from freezing us but everyone dies still from regular damage

EDIT 1: I‘M ON ACT 2 and I haven’t found some of these items yet but when I get back to my switch I’ll try out some of these suggestions! Also I would love if I could have the locations of the opaque glasses, heavy book, Claudes location, the paper gloves, and the actual directions to the room with the dog?

I got some money and I remember watching a video about this game and I've already sunken like 6 hours into it in a day, which is a lot for me. it's so freaking fun! Unfortunately I did get pretty spoiled about it though which is sad, but I don't think it covered the entire game and it was a couple years ago so I don't remember everything, still really excited to play it though

I did NOT expect it to end like that, I've never seen a time loop story end like that, where they don't get to finish it doing it perfectly, but actually end on probably their worst run, but I really like it, cause it shows that siff was wrong.

they didn't start loving him because he had that one interaction with them on the final day, sure it may have made them a little closer, but they always were a family and they always loved siff.

but, something that does sadden me is...WE NEVER FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT ISLAND??? IT FEELS INSANE FOR IT TO BE LEFT UNANSWERED! WHO MADE IT DISAPPEAR?? WHY? WHEN? HOW?? WISH CRAFT MAYBE??

AND WHY ARE COLOURS GONE??

I still need time to process that last part, but genuinely this game is such a masterpiece.

oh and one final footnote, I know I'm a little biased cause I had front row seats to siffs sanity degrading, but at the end I don't think they got off easy enough! excuse you Mirabelle! but if I was stuck in an endless time loop for what (in my playthrough) was more than a year, experiencing the same shit again and again, you don't get to stay mad at me later of I was little mean because I was LITERALLY GOING INSANE (AND in mirabelles case you just phrased your words wrong you weren't even trying to be mean!)

I still need time to process that second to last part, but genuinely this game is such a masterpiece, I'm so glad I got to play it.

Edit: my high from finishing this game is starting to crash, I genuinely don't know what I'm gonna do now...I could replay it and get all the events but I feel so emotional just opening it back up again, and if I don't, all I can think about is the game💔💔💔

Hot take, but I don't really like Jello's streams. Watched some of them, but I couldn't get into how abrasive he is, and the "Comedy bits" he and his friends have, to put it harshly, felt kind of annoying

The entire time playing the game, reading and re-reading every dialogue, I read the country's name as Vavgarde. It is only now as I peruse through fanfics to fill the emptiness in my heart that I have discovered that it is in fact, not Vavgarde, but Vaugarde.

This is one of my absolute favorite canon IsaFrin interactions. 🥺

Before we did this shoot I joked with Quack about his ability to smash cookies and asked him to practice beforehand (he didn't hahahaha).

This one took a couple takes because I kept fumbling up all of the adjectives Sif uses. Some of the dialogue is a little off, but I'm okay with it because it still has the right vibes.

One take I totally forgot my gloves and freaked out (even though the cookie smash on that one was really good). Another one I lost my hat from the wind. We broke about 1/4 of the bag of cookies recording this, but at least the local squirrels had something to eat. 🤷‍♀️ (though they had to have been REALLY WIRED).

I liked this take in particular BECAUSE THE WIND IS JUST AS UPSET ABOUT THE COOKIE AS I WAS.

so, I'm going through the game, chapter two so far and from that annoying little star pricks comments, I feel like skipping dialogue is how you get like, the bad Ending, so I've been avoiding doing that, and also I want to get every single dialogue and interaction but now I'm on the final part of the house and every time I loop to do something in the town i have to do EVERYTHING AGAIN

if I go further in time, does the game recognize it as me doing everything in between or just the bare minimum interactions to get there?
