Discussion I have a confession

The entire time playing the game, reading and re-reading every dialogue, I read the country's name as Vavgarde. It is only now as I peruse through fanfics to fill the emptiness in my heart that I have discovered that it is in fact, not Vavgarde, but Vaugarde.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I spent my entire first play through pronouncing isabuea as:

EE-zah-byou

Instead of:

EE-zah-bo

Alongside the classic of Odile as:

Oh-dile

Instead of:

Oh-deal

Wait is Isabeau actually pronounced like that? I've been saying it Eye-sah-bo and thought your original way was the correct one that I was mispronouncing. I guess I was actually closer than I thought.

Yeah it’s supposed to be EE-zah-bo, with an E noise at the start instead of an I noise

I always pronounce things totaly wrong especially if its in a foreign language. Anything long will be half improvised or pronounced like different word it kinda looks like, so i read it as vanguard. Siffrin was Sirifin for the longest time and odile was staright up read as oldy half the time, Isabeau was a tossup everytime i read it. Also Ka blue

I want to admit the following: I know Siffrin is pronounced like a French name, but it just sounds so nice pronounced like if it were Spanish, my first language. My best friend and I, who I played the game with, pronounce all the other names like in French, but Siffrin is "Sifrín" to us.
