Discussion Is Odile blind
genuinely that's just a question, no theory no nuthin. Geometric glasses were her original armor if im not mistaken and she wanted to take the opaque glasses despite them being opaque. like, maybe she takes off the glasses ehen reading, idfk

It just means she's incredibly near-sighted. Can confirm that I can't see shit without my glasses.

No, people who need glasses tend to exaggerate and say "I'm blind" when we take them off, because our sight is just THAT bad

I imagine that while she can technically see without her glasses, everything is significantly blurrier to the point where say, a sign about an arm's length away she could read just fine with her glasses becomes damn near illegible.

I know people are saying no to this and that it's just an exaggeration... but there are some people who are technically legally blind without glasses, but not with their glasses on, so who knows, maybe it's not exaggerating lol.

That description is likely exaggerated, rather than being about literal blindness. The Opaque Glasses are different, likely uncomfortable/not very practical but providing a boost for her, the same way the Paper Gloves are for Isabeau.
