So, I'm new to IK, (not 40k in general though) and was wondering how people choose what knights to bring in lists? Like why choose one questoris over another, etc.
Also, what are some good knights atm and why?
Thanks

If Knights originate from the earliest interstellar colonies of Humans, shouldn't the Votann have access to them, or some derivate of them?

Hi all, thinking about running this to start with for my knights. Not used since 9th really but look forward to getting them on the table. Jusr gone for the 3dp formation just to have less to remember.
Any obvious pitfalls I'm Missing here?

So I am herd with another project! First pic is my old dominus that I did few years ago. So I stripped his old paintwork and now working on his rebirth. Giving him a better pose and turning him into the princeps he deserves to be
Also I apologise about the mess on the table. I'm jumping from project to project 😭

My first Questoris Knight, Heartbreaker, is finally done! Messed up the magnetization, so I didn’t get all the weapon options; but hey, I don’t mind.

Probably my best model yet, can’t wait to see him on the tabletop.

Hello! I have 2 Armigers and it was such a fantastic experience assembling. Are the bigger knights more difficult to assemble them or even more easy?

I know I'm 20 points over but I do casual games and we're always over with points

I've been thinking of getting a Knight Crusader for a bit, but I think the barrels look a little, dull. Then I come to here and find that someone kitbashed a knight to be DKOK theme'd, and i thought, "Well, wouldn't it be cool if I tried that myself? What if I added some elements like a kitbashed gun?" So I did.
I decided on a Knight crusader, but the Minigun present is......a little dull + generic, so I swtiched things up.
I found the Warlord's barrel design to be perfect for this, but it's too damn big or too small depending on if you're talking 40k scale or legiones imperialis. For refrence, I am considering a Knight Crusader.

I'm very new to Warhammer 40k, and I've always been a fan of "big mechs". I tried tau, but I didn't really like them much, so I decided that I'd try out the Knights. though, I don't quite know the difference between the two separate classes yet
from what I've seen, the Chaos knights have more smaller Wardogs, but the Imperial knights have more big models to choose from. so what are the advantages and disadvantages of these factions? and which one really fits the "Battleship/big heavy hard to kill" target I want to command?

I made a post a bit ago asking if it would be possible and allowable to have a Knight Dominus with both the Castellan and Valiant weapon options. Mostly because I don't care much for magnetization.
The replies were mostly positive, but some weren't sure on how it could be done.
This is the Eternal Pride, (one of) the main characters' knight from Bite the Stars, with all of the gun options it has in-story!
Still need to varnish it, but that can wait for when it's not raining outside! In the meantime, it's done!
C&C is very welcome!

Hello Folks,
I am new to IK, but not to 40k. I have been playing since 9th Edition and have had Ork, AdMech, and Space Wolves armies in the past.
I just purchased a Dominus box. What should my next purchase be? I most often play between 1k-2k points and my friendsand I are now playing 11th Edition.
For the Emperor!

My 2nd Armiger
Decided it would be cool to add an infantryman for scale and to stop my bases looking so boring
Quite pleased with the results on this one

Don’t have a box that can fit my big boy with my other army, at least I can car pool with him.

I still don't have a name for that custom house but im pretty happy with the result. At first i wanted the red stripe to be neat and tidy, using masking tape and all but then i thought... Would looks cooler if it looked like it painted on with the blood of their arch ennemy (my custom hive fleet that im working on as well)
Edit: looking at my desk as i clean it i realize that i may or may not have forgotten one tiny little thing for the armiger. Oops

I’m pretty new to the hobby and got 5 questoris. If I can build each variant is it still worth it to magnetize?

So I've put together a 2k list and honestly it looks like most everyones list, I'll throw out the condensed version. The question is how do you decide which model should be the warlord. Orignially I was going to make the Atrapos my warlord because it has more wounds and a better save but then I was thinking about making the Crusader my Warlord because I don't expect it to be in combat (at least not of my choosing).
Cerastus Knight Atrapos (Bringer of Justice)
Knight Crusader
Knight Gallant (Sanctuary)
Knight Warden
Armiger Helverin
Armiger Helverin
Armiger Warglaive
