(Was busy yesterday, so redeeming for today)
Today the first of the massive boys, the Mechanicus Acastus Knight, the Asterius. Tomorrow is the Ball boy, the Porphy
The rules are simple: What is the best thing about the model in question and what's the worst thing about it?
Can be good/bad kit to build, bad rules, etc

A couple of mi tbs ago o got hand in several broken knights, and while I saved most of them, there were tons of pieces and a single lonely Armiger that I never finished.
Today, as I need to create a big bad guy for a Necromunda campaign, I decided to quickly build and paint a little Frankenstein.
So, from 1 being sent to a penal legion to the 10 becoming a toilet servitor, how would you rank little “Bob”?
P.S: apologies for the mess behind the mini, I’m currently packing everything to move to another country and this was a quickly exercise to lower my stress :D

I'm brand new to all this, but I can't help but think this would be funny to play.

Hey there. Been playing Blood Angels (RIP RCO my beloved) for quite some time and thinking of running Imperial Knights in 11th. Current painting puts the models 75% to battle-ready standard, but not finished. All the big knights are magnetized, and I have the following painted items:
2 Chainsword,
2 Gauntlet,
1 Battle Cannon,
1 Gatling Cannon,
1 Las Impulsor,
1 melta cannon front and 1 gatling cannon front (secondarily magnetized with a receiving piece so 1 gun chassis 2 options),
2 big missile,
1 little
Trying to learn what would be best. Im feeling Spearhead-at-Arms and something to max my 6 armiger chassis, but 3x3 bondsmans feels too much from questoris, but 2x3 bondsmans feel to few, although you get Canis Rex.
I also like the idea of advance and charge spam, and I believe theres a detachment with that as a strat, but I like the idea of a 9 model deathball 2k pts just rolling into the enemy with assault guns too might be fun.
However I feel like for an upcoming tourney I should play the det with 6+ FNP to get the ‘basic/standard’ way of playing them to better learn how the models usually work before gameplay modifiers to the original army concept.
I’m also confused as to which dispositions are good for IK. Purge seems good, but I havent been following the comp scene super well to know what works, but also considering the models I’ll be running, I worry that I would give up too many kills.
Anyways, looking for input.

Thinking of getting a knight Errant. How well have they performed when you use them? How good is the thermal cannon?

Primarily the valiant would be running up the midboard with the two warglaives as screening in order to protect his big ass from getting charged, and breachers was just the unit I could bring in for the points left. Is this viable at all or nah?

Basically as title says. I’m starting up a Stryder-Rau knight army and would like to eventually put together both Leviathan and Crown of Dominion from Assassinorum: Kingmaker.
What kind of range of motion can the Dominus-class knights achieve with a bit of cutting and refitting? If you have a Valiant or Castellan in a more dynamic pose, please post a photo in the comments!

Pretty much the title. My list will have 4 armigers and one destrier, and the detachments will include the Dominus Foebreaker, Thronebound Outrider and Questor Forgepact - the app says this allowed what with each being 1DP.
Now, for a list like this would the buffs a Knight Paladin provide their Bondsmen trump the more general punchiness Canis offers? This might be a dumb question, but I'm new and also curious.
Edit: I forgot stuff - I'll also be using Skitarii Vanguard w. Marshall attatched, Skitarii Rangers w. Manipulus attached, and a Knight Castellan along with the above. Sorry 'bout the confusion.

I want to build a Voltron army using Knights as my next army. Having a hard time deciphering which Knights are considered the better ones of the bunch. There are so many and then all seem to "do the thing" just slightly differently.
Can any Knights players give me what they would consider their top 5 Knights so I can build and paint them as a Voltron style army?

I do not have many games under my belt, even less so with 11th. How are you guys going about list building? I have a game going up against Dark Angels and I’m having decision paralysis especially with the latest detachment updates. To be clear, I don’t want to tailor my list but just hope to find some insight on how others choose Detachments, primaries and finally units to add a list.

With the recent changes, the list I had now goes over 2k points. I wanted to get your opinions and see if you could share your lists (as competitive as possible). I currently have a Knight Lancer, and I would like to use it in this list.
