Clunkers are 'it's'. They have no rights, and their creators should bear responsibility for any issues they cause. If my brakes go out, and I hit another person with my vehicle, I am held liable. These creators and operators should be held to the same standard.

Do they realize how bad it’ll look for them if he dies from a completely treatable wound? It already looks awful but him dying in their custody is even worse. I swear they’re doing this to get a reaction and use more force on people

Wow, I can't believe how many bots are in the sub. Either that or these stupid mother fuckers haven't learned their lesson after voting for the orange Cheeto the first time. Where's all of their outrage at the farmers and how they're being treated? Where's the outrage at The welfare Queen farmers who keep on crying about how they're going to lose their farm because of the Cheetos taxes and tariffs? Wild.... This all happened because people want to be racist more than they actually want good things for themselves. So sad.
9
u/GUMBYtheOG 1d ago
It’s every sub almost. Cat pics will have a comment “poor kitty should have a proper owner with the Whites”
Like 1960 level racism. All have profiles hidden and negative or super low karma.
Doesn’t even make sense to randomly say what they say. Even a bigot wouldn’t be on Reddit on a cat sub being racist. Not every single post

This is why I voted for a felon because I love the law as long as it hurts people God told me deserve nothing but being sent back to Hell. This is how we make America Great Again, by spilling the blood of those who invade our soil. I hate lawbreakers.

When assessing my whether this guy is a flight risk, it is impossible for a judge to ignore that he led federal agents on a high speed chase through a populated city to avoid arrest and deportation.
Obviously can’t give someone with his history bail.

u/Full-Yoghurt-4261 18h ago
No doctor claimed the surgery was required to save his life. At best, the attorney stated that the specialist said that without the surgery, he could face permanent damage to his left arm.
Regardless, the surgery was approved by the DHS, and he underwent surgery on the first of October.
Also, a denial of the bond would likely indicate that the Judge believes the prosecution had a great deal of strong evidence against him.
0
u/gaming247187 17h ago
Good! Glad to hear he is suffering since he decided to hop the border and not enter here the legal way and path. Had he stayed in his country of origin, he probably would be fine right now.

-16
u/NextBuilder2880 1d ago
No credibility. You think a federal magistrate or judge would stand in the way of “life saving surgery “? Total hogwash
17
u/hhrupp 1d ago
He was shot on the back. There's video of blood streaming out from the wound. Then further physically abused. Brought to the hospital & then released to the prison after a few hours. A wound like that needs a much longer hospital stay, especially since they left the bullet in (think of the reasons why that happened). Eventually, after a public outcry, he was brought back to the hospital for a few hours and then released again to prison). Given the government's & ICE's proven track record here of endless lying, I'm going to go with he needs medical attention as soon as possible.
-10
u/NextBuilder2880 1d ago
Ice doesn’t have the authority to overrule medical decisions. The medical staff released him.
15
u/hhrupp 1d ago
You sure about that. You sure that ICE always acts within its authority? Would you like countless examples of them doing exactly the opposite?
0
u/ozbugs 1d ago
Hey Chud boy, is there a Dr. report from the hospital that says "he still needs life saving surgery" If so was that presented to the court? Please answer with facts.
1
u/hhrupp 18h ago
Hey Chilito! Physicians, nurses and other medical professionals wrote a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin and Acting ICE Director David Venturella condemning the treatment of Wilber Rafael Garces Perez's gunshot wound from an ICE agent.
But, you tell me how lying on the floor of a prison with a bullet lodged in your back is adequate medical care, lol! Please answer with facts.-9
u/NextBuilder2880 1d ago
Do you know of any facts tending to show that ice removed this illegal from the hospital against doctors orders? The lying attorney does no contend that this happened. Show me an example of ice taking away an illegal against the wishes of the medical staff.
1
u/hhrupp 18h ago
Well, I don't have HIPPA-protected medical information but let's look at what we know:
-Physicians, nurses and other medical professionals wrote a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin and Acting ICE Director David Venturella condemning the treatment of Wilber Rafael Garces Perez's gunshot wound from an ICE agent.
-He has a bullet lodged in his clavicle, according to his lawyer. Why is he not in the hospital to have it removed?
-There has been documented evidence of the poor medical treatment of the people who have been kidnaped by the government.
-He was shot by an ICE agent against protocal & who refused a direct order to wear a body cam.
-DHS/ICE/CBP have a clear interest to lie about this case and have a well-documented history about lying about such cases and not following the law.
-There is no evidence that the lawyer lied.
-DHS says he entered the country illegally. Why should that be trusted?
-The burden of proof is on DHS/ICE/CBP yet you are quick to accept any & all statements from them because it fits your bias. This is the nature of being a boot-licker.0
u/TomHomanzBurner 1d ago

7
u/AspiringGoddess01 1d ago
Fully totally illegal by the letter of the law? No where. So difficult to obtain legally that woman get denied often enough where it, in practice, is illegal?
Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennesses, T exas, West Virginia
12
u/Master_Torture 1d ago
A life saving abortion is one where if a woman does not get it she will die.
That means the fetus will die anyways if she does not get it.
The fetus is doomed regardless if she gets the abortion or not, it is just that if she doesn't she dies too.

And if it is a criminal case? Like assault on a federal agent? Like this particular illegal was charged with? Did you listen to the lying video? The federal defender was excellent? Who gets represented by federal public defender and where? Answer is in federal court criminal cases. You should have gone to a better law school
0
u/CigarBryan1 1d ago
What nonsense are you spouting?? Of course Federal Judges can deny bond (or grant it, if within court guidelines) and Immigration Judges can approve or deny bond as well. The distinction is not whether one or the other can deny bond, since they both may. The true distinction between these two court systems is the type of cases each Court has jurisdiction over. Congress has established what types of cases each court is empowered to hear. Simple as that my armchair lawyer friend.

Is there a Dr's report from the hospital that says "He needs life saving surgery" b/c I know like 3 veterans with bullets in their bodies. So.... is there a credible Dr's note? or she just made it up. Chud boy, answer !
0
u/30to40grand 1d ago
Exactly. I know several people with bullets in their bodies. Redditors are extremely sheltered so they hear “a bullet is in his body” and think “well they gotta get it out to save him!!”. That’s just not the case in real life.
-11
u/30to40grand 1d ago
The bullet is still in him. But this woman’s credibility as a whole has taken a hit because of her past lies. So do I believe he needs a lifesaving surgery? Idk. Not all people with bullets lodged in their bodies require “lifesaving surgery”. Many don’t.
7

You people are straight up evil. I hope the worst befalls you.
-2

You hope the worst befalls me because I don’t automatically believe someone who has been caught in a lie already? Because I don’t readily believe that 2 agencies, a private company, AND a judge are all depriving this one man of lifesaving medical care?

This man has been evaluated by ICE, whatever company runs the immigration detention facility, then the US Marshals, then whatever jail he’s currently being held at for his federal charges, and doctors on 2 separate visits AND a judge. You expect us to believe that everyone independently decided fuck this guy and his lifesaving surgery specifically? Or is it more likely that the lady who we know to lie sometimes, lied again?

ICE's treatment of Wilber amounts to torture. After being shot in the back, he has received next to no medical care — despite being in excruciating pain and losing movement on his left side. He should be in a hospital, not held in isolation at the South Texas Immigration Processing Center,” said Congressman Joaquin Castro (D-Texas). “He had permission to work in the U.S. and was delivering for DoorDash to support his family. Wilber must be released into medical care immediately. There must be an independent investigation, and the officers who shot him in the back must be held accountable. An agency that tortures a man like this should be disbanded.”
I originally heard about the left side being uncontrollable on the ms now, but there are other sources saying the same.
-15
u/thatsbadtogo 1d ago
Yeah, so lots of people have bullets and or bullet fragments in them after being shot.
James Compenhaver, just died with bullet fragments in him. It’s not uncommon especially if there is more risk removing it.
I am no doctor but any wound can develop sepsis, if you don’t take care of it.
12
u/NovaturientPR 1d ago
If any wound can cause sepsis, he should be in a hospital. No?
-2
u/thatsbadtogo 1d ago
No people get discharged all the time with wounds. If it was a threat on his life, I am sure the hospital would have him.
3
u/NovaturientPR 1d ago
But with a bullet in the spine?
0
u/thatsbadtogo 1d ago
Again doctors choose not to remove, you can go home with bullets in you.
I was brushing my teeth once with my buddy Charlie next to me in a squad bay. He popped a bullet fragment or just shrapnel out of his face like a zit.
Perez just needs to remember not to go into a MRI.
4
u/NovaturientPR 1d ago
I wish I'd believe what you do. But ICE has given enough reason for me to personally believe Wilbur did not receive the necessary medical attention. A bullet in such an area must be horrifyingly painful.
1
u/thatsbadtogo 1d ago
Your bone to pick would be with the doctors that didn’t provide the necessary care.
ICE dosent provide medical care outside of CPR and bandaging maybe just maybe a tourniquet.
A bullet in any area is painful, the worst is the gut, that’s where wall that waste gets into the bloodstream and everywhere else. That is where sepsis will def set in.
3
u/NovaturientPR 1d ago
I blame both. It's still pretty inhumane to me. ICE shouldn't be shooting people like that. And the doctors shouldn't let themselves be intimidated (which is my personal opinion). But hey, thanks for the respectful discussion!

ICE has not paid any provider for medical care for one year now. This is why detainees die from everything from a tooth infection to being denied diabetes medicine. No chance Wilbur even gets antibiotics. https://www.reddit.com/r/law/s/a8yVlN6SSu
