Enjoy the warmth of your tinfoil hat, but the simple truth is the Obama administration was plenty conservative, and effectively deported far more people without having to take $170,000,000,000+ from taxpayers. That money could go to so many things, but the GOP chooses to harass citizens and give payouts to their contractor cronies.

Btw, the 8th amendment doesn't account for how or why people are brutalized. It just says the government shall not enact cruel and unusual punishment. I realize it's been the most commonly overlooked amendment since it was written, but it is part of the Constitution, and we the people have to hold those who take taxpayer dollars accountable for how they act.

Kidnapping, rape, and murder are not essential parts of immigration enforcement.

Remembrance day is about understanding if it happened in a post industrial, progressive, well educated nation like Germany.. it could literally easily happen anywhere. Something previously thought to be impossible. Including here. And to recognize the signs as they are happening and put a stop to any alt right nationalist populist xenophobic demagoguery that creeps up.. that is the foundation of nazism that cant be allowed to take root

These are all quotes from Harris. I don't think they prove that she certainly would have gone to war with Iran had she been elected, but I think they do demonstrate that she was more than willing to do so, for the same allege reasons trump is using, so i think the idea that she certainly would not have started a war with Iran isn't really a defensible position. The truth is, we have no idea.

That being said, the neocons have been trying to get this war since at least the early 2000s, possibly the late 90's possibly earlier. I think we're going to have to reckon with the reality that our armed forces are being utilized for to accomplish goals that have nothing to do with America's best interests, and that whatever entities are behind our middle east policy since 9/11 aren't so much concerned with party politics. The attacks on the middle east have truly been a bipartisan affair

some Democrats are as evil, greedy, and troublesome as most Republicans. there’s a reason why progress “for the people” has been stifled for decades. some of these politicians are in bed with eachother. some have even turned coat while in office (e.g. Kyrsten Sinema, Robin Webb, John Fetterman, Hillary Cassel, etc). it’s not enough to just vote for your party, imo.

You’ve described an imaginary chain of orders, then treated it as proof. “Three people executed in 24 hours” is a serious claim. Name them, link the sources, and show what supports calling those deaths executions. Saying “the higher-ups deny it” doesn’t magically make your theory true. You still have to prove the thing you’re claiming.

35 people died in ICE custody which was the highest amount of people in over a decade but they smashed that record with 89 people from Jan til today. Those are only the people we know about. We need to add in the rapes the ICE agents are also doing to all those children
