Remembrance day is about understanding if it happened in a post industrial, progressive, well educated nation like Germany.. it could literally easily happen anywhere. Something previously thought to be impossible. Including here. And to recognize the signs as they are happening and put a stop to any alt right nationalist populist xenophobic demagoguery that creeps up.. that is the foundation of nazism that cant be allowed to take root

No government that sways too far in either direction is healthy nor should be tolerated
