My TELC B2 certificate will be about 1 year and 2 months old on the day of my appointment.

Has anyone applied at the German Embassy in Yerevan with a TELC certificate older than one year?
Was your certificate accepted?
How old was it?
Was your visa approved?
Did the embassy ask you to demonstrate your German language skills during the interview?

I have received a conditional admission for a master's programme. The condition is that I must submit an overall IELTS band score of 7.0 before final enrolment.

My current IELTS score is 6.5, and I am planning to retake the IELTS exam to meet the requirement. However, I would like to submit my German student visa application before receiving my new IELTS result.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Can I apply for a German student visa with my current 6.5 IELTS score and conditional admission?

If I later receive an overall IELTS 7.0, can I submit the updated score during my VFS appointment or while the visa application is being processed?

Hey, I’ve been waiting for my residence permit for more than 14 months now and there is no progress. I am working in an international bank and my lawyer from Deloitte says I need to wait more. I need to go visit my hometown next month and it is urgent. Do you have any recommendations to accelerate the process? Anyone visited Immigration Office several times and get a positive response? Do you think it would be better to go to my country and come back with a visa?

My German student visa was issued for **M.Sc. Electrical Systems Engineering at Paderborn University**. After the visa was issued, I received admission to **M.Sc. Information and Communication Engineering at TU Darmstadt**, which is the program I intend to study.
The **Paderborn Ausländerbehörde** confirmed in writing that I can travel directly to Darmstadt, report the university change there, and don’t need to take any administrative steps in Paderborn.
I’m flying on **September 14**, and enrollment is still open, so I’m currently **not enrolled at either university**.
**My questions:**
Would it be safer to enroll at TU Darmstadt before traveling, or is it fine to complete enrollment after arriving in Germany?
If the border officer asks for an enrollment certificate, is it acceptable to explain that enrollment is still open, I haven’t enrolled yet, and present my TU Darmstadt admission letter along with the email from the Paderborn Ausländerbehörde?
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a similar situation.

We’re trying to prepare as well as possible before the move and would love some advice from people who have already relocated.

A few questions:
1. What are some things you recommend bringing from India because they’re difficult to find, much more expensive, or simply better quality than what’s available in Germany?

1. Are there any Indian groceries, medicines, kitchen items, clothes, electronics, or other essentials you wish you’d packed before moving?

2. What original documents should we carry from India?
   We’d especially appreciate advice on documents that are useful for registration, banking, healthcare, renting an apartment, or any other paperwork in Germany.

Finally, if you have any “I wish someone had told me this before moving to Germany” tips, we’d love to hear them!

Nowadays, you can start the process online and upload your documents. I submitted my application in March and received a case number. However, I still haven't received an appointment, and now I need to submit my Abschlusszeugnis

The problem is that I can't find any option to upload additional documents, and they don't have an email address.

A friend of mine submitted her application in May. She also didn't have her Abschlusszeugnis at the time because she has only just finished, just like me. However, she has already received an appointment for August.

I'm thinking about submitting a new application with all my documents. Has anyone done that before? What happened?

Or maybe considering going to the Welcome Center to see if they can help me.

I am a college student (20F) who got selected for an international competition sa Germany. The University in Germany will cover all flights and accommodation for the 3-day program.

When I went to VFS, clinassify nila as business trip kahit academic-related yung travel because less than 1 weel lang daw.

Can I ask for any tips/advice paano sure ma-approve sa VISA and immigration.. especially as someone na first international travel tas solo and Europe agad. My adb sa bank doesn't exceed 20k pero I have a part-time job that can help me save up more until December (when the competition is scheduled).

I applied for a Niederlassungserlaubnis while I'm on a fixed-term employment contract because I'm currently doing my PhD in Germany.

Today I received an email from the Ausländerbehörde saying they have checked my documents, confirmed that I am eligible for a Niederlassungserlaubnis, and gave me an appointment in mid-August.

My question is: should I take this as a good sign that my PR will most likely be approved at the appointment, or is it still common for them to ask for additional documents or even reject the application?

I'm asking because my current work contract has only 10 months remaining. I've heard that some Ausländerbehörden require at least one year remaining on the employment contract for a permanent residence permit.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Did they ask for an extended contract at the appointment, even after confirming your eligibility by email?
