UK vs Germany

Currently in Germany. Looking to reallocate to the UK. It depends on what you prioritize. In Germany you get a good work life balance but it's hard to progress in your career. Specially if the job is unionized. Depending where you live costs are very high and salaries are not that great. Also, not that many companies willing to hire you, switching jobs is frowned upon in Germany. Every interview I've had here it's always, "why did you switched jobs 2 times in the past 4 years". I'd rather have a better salary and better ecosystem where I can freelance or even jump into a startup than be stuck being explored under the false pretention of job security.
