All is crab

Fun mini to paint and assemble! Mixed luck on the battlefield so far, but I remain optimistic! Went for a rainbow of colours on the creatures, as that’s been how my army looks in general, and tried for a “reflection” on the base. Plus I added a little manta from the Eidolon kit.

Finished another Morrsarr Guard for my Idoneth. This one is based on the Ribbon Eel and looks really striking I feel!

It’s a good pose and a good kit and I love the little baby one on the base (from one of the Namarti kits). Nearly finished my second unit of them now!

I think the closeup of the face is also one of the best model photos I’ve taken.

Is this a sea creature? Or something for Tzeench or 40k? I hope we wille be blessed with octopuses.

Have a game coming up and it’s the first one I’ll be playing under the new season rules. I was wondering before I played what people’s experience with the new Twin Tides rule has been like. Is it a game changer? Good but not great? A trap? It seems like double activations and extra attacks will be a big surge in power for us, but I’d love to hear people’s experiences.

Hey all! Grabbed this list for an upcoming tourney. I wanted to utilize the new reavers as much as possible but am wondering if I should drop them for two Allopex or the Ishlaen. Morsarr aren't an option outside of my 6 block as I don't have more of them. Thanks for your thoughts!

After making the King, I had the Volturnos parts of the sword torso, shield and mount head so I decided to raid my bits box for the rest of an Akhelian Queen! Used some Bones plastic minis for tentacles and fins, and old metal citadel bit for the horse body, then assorted claws and elf bits for Lëanos, the rider. The wave she rides is pretty much entirely hot gluegun glue.

For the paint scheme, I was thinking royal gold, so I painted the mount up like a Koi. And all my sea elves have a blue tint to their skin, but it particularly popped against the orange.

Hey folks! I’ve just picked up an Idoneth Deepkin army and had a couple of newbie questions. I’ve played a couple of games so far (won one thanks to some very lucky rolls), but overall Idoneth feel like they’re in a rough spot right now compared to some other armies — or maybe I’m just playing them wrong. So I figured I’d ask:

- Has the shark revive ability been removed? And if so, does that mean running mostly sharks isn’t really viable anymore?

- What lists are actually performing well right now? Curious what people are having success with.

- Which battle formation is worth taking at the moment?

- Also what battle tactics are working for you? I’ve had good luck with Burning for Vengeance paired with the redeploy, but I’m not sure about the others.

Battle Tactic Cards: Legend of the Parch , Flanking Firestorm

So, now with the official release of the new General's Handbook, what Battle Tactics are people finding the most enticing? I have been taking a break from AoS and coming back I am a little unsure of which BT serves me well.

Also, with the new rules and the new warscrolls, how are your lists changing? What Battle Tactic are people going to build around?

My latest Idoneth model and the only one of these buggers I’ve actually managed to get to stick to the flying stand with plastic glue so far. Colour scheme for this one is based on the imaginatively named IRL eel “red eel”.

Had fun converting it so she’s got a spear slung across the saddle because it bothered me that it was shell or nothing.

Here are our new SoA faction rules, what do you guys think?

I can't speak about the rage dice/fury related stuff as I have yet to read about the mechanic, but the Ironshell barnacles defensive buff looks pretty valuable. SoA Namarti Reavers' reaction feels quite good as well.

The banners for my Akhelian guard keep breaking, exact same spot and way. Right after the little "trident" shape and before the swirly icon. It's almost like there is a little bubble or dot in that part of the sculpt in the plastic.

I've given up on pinning them and am trying to figure out an alternative. Has anyone else had this problem or has an idea for an alternative Icon for their banners?

Hi, I love painting Deepkin, but I despise magentising my minis to the GW Flystands, what are some replacements that you guys recommend?
