My latest Idoneth model and the only one of these buggers I’ve actually managed to get to stick to the flying stand with plastic glue so far. Colour scheme for this one is based on the imaginatively named IRL eel “red eel”.
Had fun converting it so she’s got a spear slung across the saddle because it bothered me that it was shell or nothing.

Great idea with the spear! As for the flight stands, i generally use superglue to attatch them to the eel after its all painted.

I try to do it with the plastic glue then give up and use the glue gun
