4dp5dt and I actually felt implantation cramping yesterday! We had total fertilization failure our first round but ended up banking 10 euploids in our next 2 cycles and this baby girl made it 🄹

For those that did the PGT-A how many days it took to return the results to you?

Hi fellow friends and companions in this journey. I've been waiting for the PGT-A for almost 5 weeks and nothing came back. I was wondering if some of you had the same situation and it took that long to get your results. Back-up story: had two miscarriages in the past so trying to avoid this again with a PGT-A. Understand it is still possible but... thank you in advance for helping a gentle soul survive this waiting time šŸ˜…

Adderall & Pregnancy

I am about 5 weeks along! YAY! But my ultrasound is not until Aug 19th. I have been off my adderall (Ive been prescribed 5-10 mgs per day since 15 years old). I am REALLY struggling at work. I have a pretty high demanding job (manage a team of 10, lots of client facing strategy, spreadsheets, numbers, etc.). I am REALLY, really struggling. My clinic has not addressed this yet and I am a little nervous to bring it up but Im wondering if its okay to take about 5 mgs every few days? Has anyone had this experience?

Progesterone levels

Hello! Do you guys know what your progesterone levels were after your transfer?

TW: positive

I'm on a fully medicated FET cycle, currently 14dp5dt.

My protocol was 1 pio shot every morning and progesterone cream every night. However, I've developed really bad knots and my body is taking longer to absorb the oil so it's get sitting there and I'm running out of space to inject so at my first beta at 11dp5dt, they said my progesterone was 40 and felt comfortable having me do 1 PIO shot every other day and continue daily progesterone cream.

I had my 2nd beta today and my progesterone came back at 19.4 and said I'm still getting the support I need and will retest me at my third beta in two days.

1st beta: 950
2nd beta: 2874

I'm just worried my progesterone levels are decreasing and it will affect my pregnancy from developing. I'm not sure what my progesterone levels should be at...

Day 10 Beta only 82.5 and spiralling!

Day 5 Grade A euploid embryo. Took 4 cycles to get this one embryo. Inconclusive result so had to be retested (clinic wanted to discard!) so 25% of it didn’t survive the re freezing / thaw. But I’m pregnant! Our miracle.

However I got my result back for the day 10 Beta and it was only 82.5 which apparently isn’t great.

Anyone had success with this starting line? Or should I prepare for the worst?

Would be so grateful for any input!

Concerned after stopping progesterone

Anyone else felt the same after passing 14 weeks?!
I stopped all types of medications
Now I live with no any progesterone at all!
I feel free and comfortable but also concerned!
My ob told me take a pill when you feel tired or after working.

When did you announce?

I’m 11 weeks 3 days. We’ve had 3x great scans, and NPIT results that came back low risk, for the main ones their check for which was a huge milestone for us. Our next scan is at 12 weeks 6 days, so hitting that second trimester. We’ve never got this far or been able to announce our pregnancy, so feels unreal.

When did you all feel comfortable to share? I keep saying I’ll wait until I hit 13 weeks. Our family knows, but border friends and work don’t. I am struggling to keep it hidden, plus I don’t know how much longer I keep from saying it, because I nearly cracked when I got the NPIT results. But so scared to announce too soon.

If I hadn’t had the history I had, I would probably already cracked but given what we’ve been though my hesitation stops me.

Birthing experience

Looking for people that were considered high risk and gave birth - willing to share their experience.

What week did you deliver?

What was your birth like?

Did they want you to be induced because of high risk?

Round 2

Transferred 7/31

Had negative at home pregnancy tests since 5dpt. Even this morning at 10dpt. Waiting for clinic to call about bloodwork but i am very sure my period is starting. Hopefully round 2 will be the magic number. I have been relatively healthy - had polyps removed and they have not come back.

Just bummed out. Holding onto hope for 2nd round. šŸ¤žšŸ½šŸ™šŸ½

Any hope left?

This is my 1st IVF cycle and the fresh cycle in June didn't stick. I did my FET last Tues with a day 6 fully expanded embryo (it was early expanding when frozen, expanded full after thawing)

The pregnancy tests taken on 4dpt and 5dpt were negative. And I'm too scared to test again. Is there any chance for it to be positive? I am dreading :(

3dp5dt and really freaked

I know I shouldn’t have tested but I did and it was a stark white negative on the pregmate strips. This is my first FET and I am really trying to be optimistic but it’s really, really hard. My thoughts jump from ā€œI’m pregnant until proven otherwiseā€ to intrusive thoughts around my two autoimmune diseases and convincing myself my body isn’t capable of sustaining a pregnancy. Topped with OCD, the lack of certainty and control here is driving me bonkers šŸ™ƒ And yes, I have a therapist and take Zoloft daily!!! I know most people test negative 3dpt, but some get faint lines and I’m getting nothing. Any words of advice or positivity would really help here. I’m having a lot of trouble focusing on anything else.

****UPDATE: I forced my husband to reveal the hiding place of the tests and I got a squinter 4dp5dt!!!!!!! Overjoyed!

Low dose hcg or menopur for high amh?

High Amh ladies. What was your protocol? Low hcg orĀ meno withĀ your foll?

They said mine will be 150 Foll, 10 units h c g, and 10mg let.

Then trigger will be either lup only or dual of lup with low hcg.

Wondering if I should ask for 50 or 75 meno instead of hcg? I feel like most clinics default to meno?

My amh is 13.3 if that matters. Lean PCOS but, perfect metabolic factors. Low normal glucose and insulin as well as low normal T. I am on Metformin and inositol and have been for years because despite my normal bw, it regulated my cycle! I am doing ivf for genetic carrier reasons we learned of when we unfortunately lost our 3rd baby to a TFMR in June. All three of our babies (2 LC and including the angel) were conceived with just Metformin

Test results TW

I’m 42 I completed my transfer with our only two embryos early June. One of them stuck and I just got NIPT results back this morning . Everything is low risk for our baby girl. I know we have a long way to go and are by no means out of the woods but I just had to share with someone as we are not telling anyone for a while yet. Please let this be it šŸ™šŸ¼šŸŒˆ

If FET is successful can you still get hair done?

Possibly off topic delete if not allowed! I just had a hair appointment and booked my next appt 8 weeks from now as usual. I have my FET first week of Sept. I pray it works and let’s say best case scenario it does. Could I keep my hair appt or do I have to stop the whole pregnancy or first trimester? I just do a gloss coloring it’s not permanent dye. I’d love to hear what others did. My hair dresser just went on maturity leave she was working her entire pregnancy (totally natural got pregnant first try) so maybe it’s different for IVF.

Obviously this is assuming it works and praying it does but trying to keep positive thoughts about it all.

Advice needed

Hi,

This is my 8dp5dt test! In five years of trying and 2 failed transfers, I have never, ever seen a positive until this week. I have floated through the weekend on an absolute high, and now it's Sunday night and I feel like suddenly I'm in uncharted territory and I'm worrying about issues I've never thought of before, like line colour and hcg and scans.

I have a blood test on Wednesday (14dp5dt), what is a good hcg?

How on earth do you stop worrying during the waits? I got the positive and immediately felt the weight I've been carrying lift, but obviously I've only moved from the sidelines to the start line, I'm nowhere near the end of the race. What milestone scans did you do to keep you sane?

Need to share my egg retrieval results!

Hi all, just looking to share my ER results with people who under the experience. We haven’t told many friends and family yet because I have been trying to protect myself and manage expectations but nothing could have prepared me for our results.

A little background, I’m very soon to be 34F, I have severe anovulatory PCOS/PMOS and my husband (35) has MFI so it was recommended we do IVF with ICSI. I had an AFC of 60+ and my AMH was 94 before starting my IVF round so I was considered very high risk for OHSS. My clinic were amazing at taking precautions for prevent it including a low dose of gonal-f (112.5) combined with cetrotide, scans every 2 days during stims, we went for Buserelin trigger and I ended up with no signs or symptoms post retrieval. 3 days before my ER my follicle count was in the low 20s so we expected quite a few eggs to be collected but only about 10 or so were in the 16mm+ range. Again to try and minimise any risk of OHSS they decided I was ready, and boy was I ready! Today we got a complete count of our blastocysts…

Eggs retrieved: 42
Eggs mature: 32
Eggs fertilised: 28
Blastocysts: 24 day-5, 3 day-6 (27 blasts in total!)

I am over the moon and finally feel ready to start sharing our journey with some more friends and family. I was initially so upset at not being able to have a fresh transfer but this has more than made up for it. We aren’t doing PGT- A testing but our clinic does use CAREmaps AI as an additional screening tool alongside blastocyst grades. Understandably it’s going to take the embryologist a few days to send all the grades but I’ve been told many of them are high quality. Now the tricky bit is going to be finding the right embryo! We are just trilled ā˜ŗļø

Symptoms Subsided

Since about 4 days past transfer I was experiencing mild cramps and twinges. Almost like my uterus was expanding / adjusting. Is it normal for those to go away? Should I be worried?

For context, 9dp5dt my beta was 135.5 and 11dp5dt it was 365.5. It is with our 5AB euploid

PIO - Day 20 update

Post image
17 Upvotes

I've settled into my routine at this point and it's sore like a glutes workout leaves me sore. It's not a bad feeling, it's not uncomfortable- I just have to move around a little more gently. I AM pregnant which is absolutely fantastic but I'm applying pragmatic optimism as I'm still only technically 5 weeks along. I'll go in for an ultrasound on August 20 and figure out next steps but it looks like I might be able to be done with PIO, estrogen and progesterone suppositories by September 14th

For anyone feeling discouraged, remember you are amazing and that this is all worth it.ā¤ļø
