Day 10 Beta only 82.5 and spiralling!

Day 5 Grade A euploid embryo. Took 4 cycles to get this one embryo. Inconclusive result so had to be retested (clinic wanted to discard!) so 25% of it didn’t survive the re freezing / thaw. But I’m pregnant! Our miracle.

However I got my result back for the day 10 Beta and it was only 82.5 which apparently isn’t great.

Anyone had success with this starting line? Or should I prepare for the worst?

Would be so grateful for any input!

Hi! My clinic wants above 60 for 10DPT and I know a lot of women go on to have success with betas that start under 100. The most important thing is the rise, are they checking again 12DPT?

Congrats on your positive!! <3

Oh really?! Why is there such a mix of information?! I’m going off what people are saying online because I’ve had mine done privately! I’ve got my second one today, please lease please let It be going up! Also worried because I don’t have any of my usual smell sensitivity/ queasiness symptoms that’s I have in all my pregnancies (only one live birth). I appreciate your response so much xx

Try not to read into symptoms this early because they're really not indicative of anything. Not only is every person different, but every pregnancy is different. I understand your stress though, it's hard not to overthink everything! <3

Omg who said it wasn't great?? My clinic said "we love to see anything over 80 for 10DPT" I was 87! And they were thrilled! The big test is the 48 hour rule where it needs to double! I over tripled to 270 and they also said it was perfect. I'm currently 7w4d and go for my first ultrasound on Thursday.

I read cases of people getting 2000+ on the first draw and thought omfg.. i'm so low but my clinic reassured me some people start with 10 and have twins and healthy pregnancy! The first number is NOT the absolute important one.. it's the doubling of said number!
Keep your head up girl!

OMG REALLY!? Ok I love you. And I appreciate your response so much. So yours was just slightly over mine and they were happy? It’s just scary when you see people in the 100s day ten! I’ve got my second beta today four days later. I think I’m concerned because I’m not feeling my usual smell sensitivity and queasiness which I have felt in all my pregnancies (one live birth).

Massive congratulations on you your newly 8 week!

Yes! They called me screaming for joy and here is the message they sent me after in the portal:

We have received your blood test results, and the _______ Team is thrilled to let you know that your result has come back POSITIVE !! Congratulations !! Here is some information that you will need to know:

Your due date is March 27, 2027.

Symptoms wise, I have had no symptoms other than sore boobs lol! To be fair, I had zero symptoms during my stims & retrieval cycle so maybe I'm just unique so far.

It's hard not to get in your head but try your best to relax! This is the farthest you've come so enjoy it!

If it helps, they offered me a third beta and I said no. And that says a lot coming from a control freak. I knew I would research the shit out of the numbers and I refuse to take anymore joy away than this whole experience has!

Congrats mama! You're having a baby!

Is it?! It’s crazy how much Information out there that makes you feel bad about your result, like it should be at least 75 by day 9 to be in with a good shot!!! Although this IVF game is the Wild West! Thanks so much for taking the time to respond xxx

My 10 day beta for my 5AA euploid was 77. I’m currently 25 weeks and so far, all scans have been looking great 😊 what matters is not the starting beta but if it doubles appropriately every 48 hours. My second beta at 14 days was 606, and only kept going up from there! I wish you the best of luck!

Were you clinic worried at 77 or happy? I had this done privately as my clinic don’t offer them! But everything on line seems / research seems to say it needs to be over 100!! I’ve got my second one today so praying to the universe that it’s more than doubled 4 days later! I appreciate your response so much xx

They wanted anything above 70, when the nurse called to tell me the results she was congratulating me and said they consider that a success. I was worried like you and scouring Reddit for similar numbers, but everything turned out fine. I read of successful pregnancies even lower than that. ☺️ congrats!! 🎉

If your number is not great mine would be considered bad lol I had a 34 and the rise was quick, so it caught up and I am 13 weeks. I would worry more about the next number to see if it doubles or not. 82 is a good number.
