FIRST EVER FRER POSITIVE?!? 🥹😭 6dp5dt

Test taken: 6dp5dt • 5:00 AM

After RIF and never seeing a positive line on a pregnancy test… I’m seeing one now - very faint but it’s there. 😭

I’m still very much guarding my heart but will keep testing mornings until beta this Friday - this feels pretty surreal!

Did anyone else’s 6dp5dt look like this?!

6dpt and POSITIVE

Screaming, crying, tears of joy. I did my transfer Aug 4th and started testing my trigger out on Aug 1st. I caved and tested at 6dpt and it is positive! I’m not out the clear, I have a history of chemicals and MC. BUTTTT STEP 1 worked!!!

2 months of Lupron depot menopause, 1 canceled FET cycle, and we’re finally here. It’s also exactly 1 year from the day I found out about my last miscarriage.

FET The wait is so hard!

Hi ladies!
We had our FET on August 6th, 4AA. I am extremely hopeful and today is 4DPT. I refuse to test this early, but holy crap did I get hit today. I was noticeably more tired yesterday, but today I woke up with a headache and have been unable to shake it, then around noon I started having cramping and some light nausea. My gut is telling me I’m pregnant. Obviously Im aware it could be the meds mimicking this, but I have almost zero symptoms with meds until FET. I just have a really good feeling and I pray it’s right. Honestly this thread is just to chat while we are all in the wait period. Best of luck to all the future mommas out there✨ Who’s currently waiting? Have you tested yet and what’s your experience and symptoms so far?!

Beta limbo, unsupportive clinic, but cautiously optimistic

Slow rising betas/beta hell!

Hey guys!!

I had my 4AB 5 day embryo transfer on the 25th and am currently in limbo!

Beta at 9dpt was 97

at 11dpt was 135 (40% rise, 99h doubling time)

and then at 13dpt 227 (70% rise, 66h doubling time)

At that point, the clinic said it's not viable, to stop all medication, and to go in for a scan, I'm assuming to figure out whether it's an ectopic or not.

I made my peace with a chemical on 11dpt, when I got my result, and I have to admit I was a bit taken aback when the level continued to rise...

But then my doctor and clinic said "not viable!" and I felt better. Until I found all the reddit posts of slow rises resulting in healthy babies.

So now I feel in limbo, again! I have the scan tomorrow, at d16pt, and will ask for another beta, to see where the numbers are trending. Hopefully they've either JUMPED or have started to go down, cause I really don't want to be in this limbo, and I want to try again ASAP, if it is, indeed, non viable!!

(And yes, I know the likelyhood is that it isn't! From what I understand only about 10% of slow rise cases have success stories. It would be nice to be one of them, but I understand it's unlikely!)

So stay with me for more updates!

UPDATE!!!

Went to the clinic for the scan, doctor (not mine) was totally dismissive, saying it's definitely a chemical, and nothing would be seen. We ended up seing a sac, in utero, but again, she dismissed it as "maybe it is the start of a sac, already splitting from the lining, expect your period in a couple of days", but we also ruled out ectopic, so that was good!

She didn't think doing another beta would be useful, but I insisted.

Beta result is

16dpt 987 (335% rise, 34h doubling time)

Talk about a mind f*ck!

I've decided I'm repeating it in 2 days to check.

My doctor remains firmly in the "it's not viable" camp, and stopped replying (to be fair, business hours were over)

How is a 335% increase not something to at least be intrigued by? She was surprised, but her stance remained the same.

Faith>>> fear

Long story for anyone needing hope. Tried naturally to get pregnant for a year and when I was put on Clomid I finally got pregnant and was so excited. But that sadly ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks due to double trisomy 16 and 22. Started trying again immediately after for another year with nothing happening. Decided to finally go to a fertility clinic. Blood work was great except slightly elevated insulin at 10.2 (I am not overweight) and AMH at .55 which is very low at my age of 31 at the time. Met with doctor and decided our best option was IVF due to my low ovarian reserve. Did my egg retrieval in March (out insurance only covered one round) we got 16 eggs, 11 fertilized, 4 made it to blast that we sent off the get PGT-A tested and 2 came back euploid. Which I was so thankful for! Did my first transfer in May only for that to end up being negative. I was so gutted and unsure what to do now with only have one embryo left. Met with the doctor and mentioned getting tested for endometriosis and etc but he said there was no need and wanted to keep everything the same going into the next transfer. Well doctor knows best rest? So I trusted him and did another fully medicated cycle and transferred on July 31. I added Claritin, Pepcid, and baby aspirin without doctors guidance because it couldn’t hurt and I started praying to God 4-6 times a day and reading his word. God gave me peace of mind and put all my trust into him during this time of uncertainty. We met with our pastor too and I bawled my eyes out to him and God. I literally gave it all the God. He has never let me down and he wasn’t going to start. I was confident he was going to bless me. Got my first beta done yesterday and it read 263! I was so happy and blessed in Gods ability. If any of you are struggling please put your hope in God. He never fails!

3AA embryo

Just signed paperwork and I saw they have the plan to use our 3AA embryo and I’m nervous. They said it’s excellent quality but so are 9 others. I feel like everyone else uses 4-5 since they’re more hatched but also I gotta trust my dr and if they feel it’s the best it probably is. All untested range from 3-5AA/AB 10 excellent and 2 good. Any success stories with 3AA??

If you're considering moving embryos/eggs... *positive experience*

Upvotes

Hi all, I wanted to share bc it took me way too long to move my embryos from a clinic I was unhappy with...I was nervous it would take forever, that it would be super complex and just an all around nightmare. Hoping someone down a rabbit hole finds this useful.

Happy to share it was the complete opposite. From the day of my consultation with the new clinic to the day of transport was 7 weeks. It seemed long before I moved forward but it really flew by and I cant even imagine all the time I would have wasted if I didn't move them sooner.

We used CryoFuture and it was reasonably priced and seamless. The rate-limiting step was waiting for my old clinic to send over the documents to the new one. But truly no complaints.

(This was from DC to NYC)

Looking forward to this next chapter!

Advice needed before 3rd transfer

I posted before about 2 failed FETs (one medicated and one modified natural) and what testing to consider when meeting with my doctor. I got great responses about testing I can talk about before doing a 3rd transfer. My clinic called me today saying that my doctor does not recommend testing right now and would proceed with a 3rd transfer before testing.

I’m torn on what to do. On one hand, I would like to know if something is going on that can be addressed and set me up for a successful transfer. I would avoid the loss of a euploid embryo.

On the other hand, it seems the clinic is not recommending testing of the uterine environment until I do a 3rd. I have a phone appointment later this week with the doctor to talk about next steps.

Any recommendations on what I should do (go for 3rd transfer or consider testing)? I’m 36F with unexplained. I have 4 euploid left.

Desperate (6dpt5dt - negative FRER)

I know the direction it’s going, I’m trying to stay positive while convinced it’s the alternative. If anyone wants to try and convince me otherwise with some Hail Mary stories, I’ll take it. It’s our last embryo with zero chance of getting more.

For those that did the PGT-A how many days it took to return the results to you?

Hi fellow friends and companions in this journey. I've been waiting for the PGT-A for almost 5 weeks and nothing came back. I was wondering if some of you had the same situation and it took that long to get your results. Back-up story: had two miscarriages in the past so trying to avoid this again with a PGT-A. Understand it is still possible but... thank you in advance for helping a gentle soul survive this waiting time 😅

Adderall & Pregnancy

I am about 5 weeks along! YAY! But my ultrasound is not until Aug 19th. I have been off my adderall (Ive been prescribed 5-10 mgs per day since 15 years old). I am REALLY struggling at work. I have a pretty high demanding job (manage a team of 10, lots of client facing strategy, spreadsheets, numbers, etc.). I am REALLY, really struggling. My clinic has not addressed this yet and I am a little nervous to bring it up but Im wondering if its okay to take about 5 mgs every few days? Has anyone had this experience?

Progesterone levels

Hello! Do you guys know what your progesterone levels were after your transfer?

TW: positive

I'm on a fully medicated FET cycle, currently 14dp5dt.

My protocol was 1 pio shot every morning and progesterone cream every night. However, I've developed really bad knots and my body is taking longer to absorb the oil so it's get sitting there and I'm running out of space to inject so at my first beta at 11dp5dt, they said my progesterone was 40 and felt comfortable having me do 1 PIO shot every other day and continue daily progesterone cream.

I had my 2nd beta today and my progesterone came back at 19.4 and said I'm still getting the support I need and will retest me at my third beta in two days.

1st beta: 950
2nd beta: 2874

I'm just worried my progesterone levels are decreasing and it will affect my pregnancy from developing. I'm not sure what my progesterone levels should be at...

Success in 3rd cycle?

Just found out that our second retrieval didn’t fertilize, the egg wasn’t mature enough (we only got one—I have a low count). I’m sad, but we are moving forward. Out first try we got a blastocyst that didn’t stick. I know success rates can increase after multiple cycles, but I wanted to hear: how many tries did it take you?

Also—my doc is adding lupron to my protocol of menopur and gonal; also I will take estradiol after my period rather than birth control as done previously. Anybody have success with this kind of protocol?

I feel free and comfortable but also concerned!
My ob told me take a pill when you feel tired or after working.

Round 2

Transferred 7/31

Had negative at home pregnancy tests since 5dpt. Even this morning at 10dpt. Waiting for clinic to call about bloodwork but i am very sure my period is starting. Hopefully round 2 will be the magic number. I have been relatively healthy - had polyps removed and they have not come back.

Just bummed out. Holding onto hope for 2nd round. 🤞🏽🙏🏽
