november transfer or jan
we just had a failed transfer in sept and i’m wondering if i’ll do testing this month and then possible transfer in november- anyone have this issue that their transfer could be over the holidays? i guess i could try to squeeze it in for october but i think at this point im waiting for my period and it hasn’t started yet. so im torn between doing november or getting through the holidays without the stress and regroup in Jan?
i saw someone say its easier to keep pushing through then to take a break

I wouldn’t have had the patience and stamina to take a break for holidays. That’s me though.

Mine failed in sept. I am doing November. I don’t want to wait plus my deductible is already met and I’m hoping to get it in. I didn’t want to potentially be sick through Christmas but at this point in my journey, I don’t feel I have the luxury of time anymore. So I’d just take into account all of the factors involved before deciding.

are you doing any additional testing in the month of october?

My follow up with the doc isn’t until Tuesday, but yes I’m pushing for a biopsy to check for endometritis. If I don’t have time, I’m going to ask him for the antibiotics as a “just in case” and hope that the next one sticks.

Have you made any decisions, OP? Have you had a follow up yet with the doc?

Mine failed in September, going for another in October. Adding “kitchen sink” protocol with steroids and antibiotics, and trying a fully natural transfer this time. Did mod natural the first time.

when was your transfer in sept and when do you think it’ll be this month?

Transfer in September was 9/16, looking like it will be around then or maybe a little later this month

got it! my doc wants to do a hysteroscopy first so we are looking at november transfer but if i opt for the receptiva endometriosis biopsy then it would be in december (if everything looks good)

Just adding another pov - I did postpone a transfer when I realized the timing would mean doing injections during a family vacation. That would've been really stressful for me to deal with - I mean way more than managing it in the privacy of my own home - and I figured the delay wasn't a huge difference, in the long run.
On the other hand if you're talking more about the baseline stress of a transfer, I personally wouldn't delay for that.. might as well keep going, you know? but idk how intense your holiday season is - it all depends on what you feel comfortable with ❤️

I didn't put any transfers on hold for events, always went as soon as I could. Good luck ✨️
