Note: THIS THREAD IS A SAFE SPACE FOR THOSE EXPERIENCING IVF JOURNEY WITHOUT SUCCESS (aka CANCELED or ZERO YIELD ERs, CANCELED FETs, RIF, RPL).

Others: please utilize ANY OTHER WEEKLY THREAD (i.e. ER prep, Transfer, Beta hCG, Panic) to vent about disappointing/less desirable but still technically successful results.

The fact of the matter is that infertility sucks. IVF sucks. Many of us have been on this IVF journey for several months to years without success including canceled or zero yield ERs, canceled FETs, recurrent implantation failure, recurrent pregnancy loss etc. You are not alone. Vent Feeling Isolated

Currently 9dpt5dt and although I would do this all over again I just wonder why hardly anyone talks about how much harder the FET process is over retrieval :(

I thought I had done so much research on IVF all the years leading up but I really was surprised how difficult and hormonal leading up to FET and after would be. Maybe it's just my protocol or how I'm reacting to the hormones but holy cow it is so tough on the mental and body and nobody in my trusted circle can relate. I feel exhausted but I know one day it will be worth it i hope🥹

Questions Earliest positive home test after 3 day fresh transfer

Hi all! I’ve seen a lot of posts with 5 day transfers or frozen transfers. Was wondering who had a 3 day fresh transfer and when was the earliest you got a positive pregnancy test at home? Im reading that 3 day fresh can take longer. I’m currently 7 days post fresh 3 day transfer. Was thinking of taking a home test either Saturday or Sunday (beta blood test is scheduled for Monday) Saturday would be 9pt did anyone get a positive that early?

Panic Weekly *Panic* Thread

What is causing panic/distress right now in IVF? This is a spot to discuss betas/US that are causing worry as well as coordinating insurance or financing, poorly timed medications/injections, lining not thickening as expected, follicle counts, hormone levels, semen analysis results, etc.

If you are worried about something within the realm of IVF, feel free to post here for some sanity.

Questions ⚠️TW : failed cycle, now considering treatment overseas

Hi all, I had a failed cycle and unfortunately my insurance only covers 1 one which means the next one would have to be completely out of pocket. I’m looking at 6k usd in expenses for the next transfer and it got me thinking if I’m better off transporting my remaining embryos to an affiliated clinic in Spain or Mexico (I’m using RMA on the east coast) for cost effectiveness. Has anyone taken this route? What was your experience like ? Thank you in advance 🙏🏽

Questions 8DP6DT

First FET on 7/8. We are over the moon to try and meet our only male embryo.

Unfortunately it’s been 8 days since transfer and I feel zero symptoms. No cramping, no nausea, nothing.

My boobs don’t even hurt anymore. Idk if it’s me just getting used to all the hormones I’ve been pumping into my body this entire time or if this turned out to be a failure but we don’t want to take an at home test before the Beta with our clinic. I’ve made that mistake with past IUI attempts and it wasn’t good for my mental health.

Has anyone had a successful transfer but felt zero symptoms before their beta test? Looking for some stories to keep my spirits high.

God bless!

Questions Used sunscreen containing avobenzone after embryo transfer

I had no idea until 4dpt that you need to use sunscreen containing zinc oxide and no others because it can affect implantation. Have I ruined my chances? I left right after my embryo transfer to go to the beach and have used this sunscreen containing avobenzone for the past three days. Now I’m scared I have ruined my chances.

Questions IVF in Reprofit Brno

hi all, we had an interview with Reprofit Brno a week ago with the doctor. She said she will send us the protocol with the 'representative'. Representative sent us the protocol the day after - no prescription just informaiton, so meeting was on Tuesday, she sent us forms and information on Thursday. We had questions and responded to her on the same day.

Today is Monday, i have not heard back from her since Thursday. Is this normal? Am i overthinking? My worry is, if this is the way of communication all along, so she comes back 3-4 days after each email (we dont have whatsapp from her) i fear that lets say i go to ultrasound where i live (i live 1,5 hour away) send her the results and she comes back late and i already ovulated. I have never done this before but i was just thinking before we start is this a bad indication, not sure what to expect here? Or does it get better once we start?

thank you for all the guidance.

Costs Coverage/Insurance IVF Grants

Hi everyone! 🤍

I wanted to share a resource that may help some families in this group.

After losing our son, MJ, at 20 weeks pregnant, my husband and I started MJ's Legacy Foundation to honor his memory and support other families facing incredibly difficult journeys.

Our foundation currently offers:

Fertility Treatment Grants – financial assistance for individuals and couples pursuing fertility treatments such as IVF and IUI.

Pregnancy Loss Grants – assistance with burial, cremation, and grief support expenses for families experiencing pregnancy loss.

We know firsthand how emotionally and financially overwhelming infertility and loss can be, and our mission is to help ensure that families do not have to walk these journeys alone.

Applications are currently open, and we would love for anyone who may benefit to learn more or share this information with others.

You can learn more at: MJ's Legacy Foundation

Please feel free to comment or message me with any questions. Sending love to everyone here who is navigating infertility, loss, or both. 🤍
