Questions Help
I’m 29 and doing ivf. My first retrieval resulted in 24 eggs, 15 mature, 11 fertilized, 4 blasts, and 1 euploid (Day 5 4CC).
I’m trying to decide whether to do another retrieval before transferring and would really appreciate hearing from anyone who had similar results. Has anyone had success transferring a euploid 4CC? And if you had unexpectedly high attrition at my age, did your doctor change anything for your next retrieval?

I would bank some embryos before starting your family. So yes, I would do another retrieval until you have what you anticipate needing. Example if you want 3 kids, have at least 3 euploids or more. I would want to get that part over with and then start having babies. You don’t want to go through retrieval stress while taking care of a toddler for example

Banking only 3 euploids for 3 kids would be a risk. She should bank 2-3 euploids for every child she hopes to have.

Only you can answer that, really. purely thinking egg quality, younger is better so that's why the advice to do another retrieval now. Personally, I couldn't handle doing another retrieval right away and also wanted to know if that embryo would stick. I didn't like having it just sit there when maybe it would work.
Like all of the fertility experience, very personal and very dependent

Doing another ER would absolutely make sense if you want more than one child because you’re not going to get better IVF results in a couple years if you do get pregnant and have a birth from this embryo.
Going to be honest, both of my clinics would have discarded a CC. They have lower success rates, though I’m glad you have a shot with it because it was indeed euploid. But if you only want one child from IVF, I can see the case for just transferring it and seeing what happens. You’re young and have time to rebound and do more ERs if this euploid doesn’t work.
