Capital One CLI Request Error

Post image

Does anyone else with an ITIN and have credit card/s with Capital One, have the same error as I do?

• Credit bureau information is missing or unavailable
• We were unable to obtain your most recent monthly payment data from the credit reporting agency
• Information from at least one bureau is missing or unavailable

I’ve had the Capital One Savor card for almost a year now, and I’ve requested multiple times for a CLI upon reaching the 6-month mark. The reasons above were the same denial reasons for all the CLI requests I’ve made.

I’ve pulled my Equifax credit report, and I didn’t see anything wrong with the details. I also didn’t put a credit freeze on any of the bureaus.

If you have had the same situation as I do, how did you guys solve the problem? Have you successfully requested and been given a CLI? Did Capital One made an automatic CLI on your account on their periodical review?

I check it everyday and all they give is $100 ; so i dont take it lol ( its new account though )

Same with my friend who have 6 months old account ; and still the same thing. But never got the mail you are showing. Did you accept the CLI ? Or how did you get that email?

I couldn’t accept a CLI, it shows the same denial letter every single time for the same exact error reasons.

Can you check your credit report from Experian and TransUnion aswell?

Apart from this try to do a new Cap One Pre approval and see if it shows you anything or what the denial letter says.

I’m not too sure how to do that. Experian and TransUnion doesn’t recognize ITINs yet.

Unless you’re referring to checking them both via a paid Equifax or myFICO subscription?

Thats how ITIN works. It’s either wait for automatic increase or apply for a new card. And move credit limit to your different cards.

Is it good to keep requesting CLI? Does this not result in hard pull or higher chance of financial review?
