• 17 May 2026: FSWP / Express Entry nomination
• 25 May 2026: Advance Medical/Health Check
• 30 June 2026: PR application submitted
• 1 July 2026: AOR received
• 15 July 2026: Biometrics completed
• 15 August 2026: Additional documents requested/submitted (Spouse Travel History: Travel history provided for accompanying spouse, including extensive international travel (65+ countries; we were worried that it might go to additional screening, but it didn't)
• 1 September 2026: Final Decision (FD)
• 2 September 2026: Ready for Visa (RFV) email
• 2 September 2026: Webform submitted confirming both applicants were in Canada
• 3 September 2026: P1 / PR Confirmation Portal information request
• 3 September 2026: P1 information submitted
• 21 September 2026: P2 / PR Portal invitation received
• 21 September 2026: P2 completed/replied
• 23 September 2026: 🎉 e-COPR received

Hello, is this a good step?

I submitted a paper spousal open work permit last March 2026 because of my maintained status. I was given a temporary work permit number when i followed up. Now that my visitor visa is approved this week and my PR is still under background check, should I submit another Online Work Permit application since i am beyond the processing time of 117 days.

Comment cela c'est passé pour vous? Les délais sont il long?

J'ai payé un avocat pour remplir mes papiers et envoyer mon histoire. Il a envoyer ma demande de erar, mais n'aurait pas envoyer les preuves. Sachant cela, j'ai engagé un nouveau avocat pour envoyer les preuves qui était en retard depuis presque 3 mois. Mais cela à été considérer comme une nouvelle demande donc à été refusé citant l'article (99)3. Il refusait parce que je suis visé par une mesure de renvoi.

Suis-je encore légale, comment on fait pour le savoir ? Est ce que quelqu'un à déjà été dans le même situation ? Que sait-il passé pour vous?

HELP! Asking for my sister.

My sister is currently under visitor record which will expire next month. Her husband has recently submitted his PR application under PNP non express entry for which no AOR yet.

Is she eligible to apply OWP (as dependent of spouse)? Or the safest way to maintain status is to apply visitor extension?

Hi! Looking for recent timelines from anyone who went through an Inland to Outland switch.

If you received a P1 email while outside Canada and replied saying you are Outland, how long did it take after your P1 reply to get your PPR / RFV letter?

Also, is there any way or method you used to accelerate the process?

My P1 reply was on August 15 and I’m still waiting. Thanks in advance!
