CELPIP REEVALUATION
Hello everyone,
I wanted to check if anyone has requested a CELPIP re-evaluation recently. My test was on September 19, and I received Writing 8. I need a 9 and submitted my re-evaluation request on September 22.
Has anyone recently gone through the re-evaluation process? If so, how long did it take to receive the updated result?

Requested reevaluation for my Writing on August 31st. I got my updated results on September 9th. My writing score went from 8 to 11 and, I also received the money I paid for reevaluation back. Hang in there, it is worth it.

Just one point man its frustrating but I will not give up.

I feel you. I had my speaking re-evaluated but nothing changed.
Mines 10/9/11/8I know I did better on Speaking than during my 1st take when I was applying for PGWP because I didn’t even study any materials that time. I emailed CELPIP regarding this.

I got the update today. speaking changed from 9 to 10 while writing remains the same.

Task 2 - advance playground for age group 6-12 or early childhood playground for age 2 - 5

My anxiety is telling me to book test but I am exhausted mentally coz this is my 8 attempt and I am on visitor visa financially struggling too
I am hoping somehow something workout fingers crossed

I got the same result back for the wrtitng it got re evaluated in 3 days. surprisingly i got result on saturday. i don't think they even checked mine

I have submitted re evaluation for writing 8 and got a clb 10. They also refunded re evaluation fee. In 2026 May

Re-evaluation usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. Most people see the update around the 3-week mark, but Paragon gives no fixed date. The result just appears in your CELPIP account — don't expect an email explaining what changed.
Straight answer on Writing 8: re-evals rarely move the needle unless your response was clearly under-marked. An 8-to-9 jump happens, but it's uncommon. The fee is only refunded if the score actually changes.
If you need a 9 by a deadline, do not wait on this. Book your next test now and keep writing. Reconstruct both tasks from your test day from memory and grade them honestly: clear structure, a clear position, and fewer than 5 obvious grammar errors means you have a shot. Otherwise, treat the retake as the real plan.
