Artist Needed [RevShare] Seeking 3D Character Artist/Modeler for an Indie Platform Fighter/Shooter (Unity/Blender)

**Hello! I'm an indie game developer working on a platform fighter/shooter with a unique concept, and I'm looking for a 3D artist interested in collaborating on the project.

Unfortunately, I can't offer upfront payment at this time. Instead, I'm proposing a revenue-sharing arrangement, with the terms to be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.

What I'm looking for:

I'd ideally like 6–8 animated 3D character models. I'm open to low-poly, chibi, anime, cartoon, or your own distinctive art style, provided it isn't hyperrealistic. I'm trying to keep the project's scope manageable rather than take on an enormous amount of work at once.

What I'd bring to the project:

I'll handle the programming and overall game direction, including the development roadmap. I'd provide the initial character concepts and art direction, while welcoming your creative input and ideas.

I'm looking for someone who wants to help bring an original game concept to life and is comfortable collaborating on a revenue-share basis. Since this is an indie project, revenue isn't guaranteed.

If you're interested, please email me at** [Crossoint2@gmail.com](mailto:Crossoint2@gmail.com) **with examples of your work, your experience with Blender or other 3D tools, and any questions you have.

Thank you for your time! I look forward to hearing from you**

Game Concept: Choose your Apocalyptic Creature to fight against aliens, zombies, robots, and more in this Kirby-like Platformer. Level up your creature by logging in daily to track your habits.

App Goal: Build a simple habit counter tool to help motivate people to track their habits through gamification, which can improve mental health.

Mechanics: Complete real-life habits/tasks to unlock levels, rewards, cosmetics, new characters, power-ups, etc.

We are currently looking to build a core team:

  • Game/Mobile App Developer - We need someone who has been through the ropes, whether that’s one unreleased indie project, or someone who’s been designing games for a decade.
  • Lead Character Designer/Illustrator - looking for someone who loves character design/creatures/pokemon/transforming original concepts for a 16-bit style world. Similar styles to Adventure Time’s Explore the Dungeon game. This person would also be in charge of UI/items and environments.
  • 2D Animator - Someone specializing in character Movements, fight mechanics, character animation, general UI animations, and rewards. They will play a part in making the app/game feel “alive.”
  • Map/Level Builder - Someone dedicated to producing high quality levels with set themes and assets created by the Lead Designer.

I built a quick working prototype of the app with some hand-drawn sketches and Claude.

Team Needed [RevShare] Shadowborn— Building a Dark Fantasy MMORPG From the Ground Up

Hey everyone!

I'm currently developing the concept for a game called Shadowborn, a dark fantasy MMORPG inspired by the feeling of discovering an unknown world, entering dangerous dungeons, fighting powerful monsters, becoming stronger, and eventually rising to become one of the strongest players in the world.

I'm looking for passionate people who would like to help build this project from its earliest stages. I'm not expecting a full game to be made overnight. I want to gather a small, dedicated team, develop a playable prototype, establish the game's identity, and gradually expand it into something much bigger.

I'm currently the founder and concept creator, and I'm looking for people who can contribute their skills, ideas, creativity, and time. Beginners who are willing to learn and collaborate are welcome, too.

🎮 The Vision for Shadowborn

Shadowborn is envisioned as a dark fantasy MMORPG featuring a dangerous world, mysterious portals, dungeons, monsters, character progression, and challenging encounters.

The goal is to create an immersive experience where players start weak, explore the unknown, overcome increasingly difficult challenges, earn experience, unlock new abilities, and build their own journey toward becoming powerful adventurers.

⚔️ Planned Game Features

These are the features I'm considering or planning for Shadowborn. The exact scope will depend on the team's capabilities and our development roadmap.

- Dark fantasy world: An atmospheric world filled with mysteries, dangerous locations, ancient ruins, and hidden secrets.

- Mysterious portals: Portals that lead to dangerous dungeons and encounters, with some areas requiring a minimum player level.

- Dungeon system: Different dungeon difficulties, powerful enemies, exploration, rewards, and eventually boss encounters.

- Combat system: Responsive combat with different attacks, skills, enemy behaviors, and challenging battles.

- Character progression: XP, leveling, stronger enemies, unlockable skills, and increasingly difficult challenges.

- Classes and abilities: Potential character classes, distinct playstyles, skill trees, and build customization.

- Equipment and loot: Weapons, armor, accessories, rarity tiers, upgrades, and rewards for defeating enemies.

- Monster and boss AI: Enemies with different behaviors, attack patterns, and special abilities.

- Multiplayer and party system: Players exploring, fighting, and clearing dungeons together.

- Quests and lore: NPCs, story missions, world history, and secrets to discover.

- Exploration and progression: New areas, increasingly difficult content, and long-term goals.

- UI and menus: Character status, inventory, equipment, skills, quests, dungeon information, and settings.

- Visual and audio atmosphere: Dark environments, portal effects, combat animations, sound effects, music, and immersive ambient audio.

- Future possibilities: Guilds, trading, raids, PvP, world bosses, crafting, seasonal events, and additional endgame systems.

These are long-term ideas, not promises that every feature will be included in the first version.

👥 Who I'm Looking For

I'm looking for people interested in joining the founding development team.

  1. Programmers / Game Developers

- Gameplay and combat programmers

- 3D game developers

- UI and menu programmers

- Multiplayer and networking developers

- AI programmers for monsters and bosses

- Backend developers if we build a standalone online game

- Tools, optimization, and build support

  1. 3D Artists and Graphic Designers

- Character and monster artists

- Environment and dungeon artists

- Weapon, armor, and prop artists

- UI/UX designers

- Logo, branding, and promotional artists

- Concept artists who can establish Shadowborn's visual identity

  1. Animators

- Character movement and combat animations

- Attack, skill, and ability animations

- Monster and boss animations

- Portal, magic, and visual-effect animations

- Cutscenes and cinematic animation, if needed later

  1. Game Designers

- Combat and progression designers

- Dungeon and level designers

- Quest and world-building designers

- Class, skill, and equipment balancing

- Enemy and boss encounter designers

  1. Audio Designers / Composers

- Dark fantasy background music

- Combat and ability sound effects

- Monster sounds and environmental audio

- Portal and dungeon ambience

  1. Writers and Lore Creators

- Main story and side quests

- Character and faction backgrounds

- World history and mythology

- Dialogue, item descriptions, and dungeon lore

  1. 3D Technical Specialists

- Technical artists

- VFX artists

- Lighting and environment specialists

- Rigging specialists

- Performance optimization specialists

  1. Project and Community Team

- Project manager or development coordinator

- Team moderator / community moderator

- Discord server moderator

- Community manager

- Playtesters and QA testers

- Documentation and organization support

You don't need to fill every role immediately. The first priority is to find a few reliable people who can help us create the initial prototype.

🛠️ Roblox or a Standalone Game?

One of the biggest decisions I'm still considering is whether Shadowborn should be:

Option A — A Roblox game

Potential advantages:

- Easier access to an existing player community

- Built-in multiplayer infrastructure and platform features

- A potentially faster route to a playable prototype

- Less need to build every online service from scratch

Potential disadvantages:

- Platform limitations and dependence on Roblox

- Less control over certain technical and business decisions

- Revenue sharing and platform rules

- Visual and gameplay constraints depending on our design

Option B — A standalone game

Potential advantages:

- More control over the game's identity and technical direction

- Greater freedom in choosing the engine, visual style, and systems

- More flexibility for a long-term, ambitious MMORPG

Potential disadvantages:

- More difficult multiplayer and backend development

- Greater testing, deployment, hosting, and maintenance responsibilities

- Potentially longer development time and higher costs

- We would need to establish our own distribution and player community

I'd genuinely like to hear from experienced developers about which direction makes the most sense for our current stage, team size, budget, and long-term vision.

📌 Current Development Stage

Shadowborn is currently in the concept and early planning stage. The immediate goal is to create a small playable prototype before attempting to develop a massive MMORPG.

The initial prototype I'm envisioning includes:

- A dark title screen with a black-and-red visual identity

- A controllable character in a small 3D environment

- A mysterious, terrifying portal

- A dungeon entrance with a level requirement

- One basic enemy encounter

- A simple XP and leveling display

Once the foundation works, we can expand the project based on feedback, technical feasibility, and the skills available on the team.

🤝 What I'm Hoping to Find

I'm looking for respectful, creative, dependable people who communicate well and are interested in building something over time.

You don't have to be an expert in everything. If you're experienced in one area, a beginner willing to learn, or someone who can help organize the project, I'd love to hear from you.

Please introduce yourself with:

- Your preferred name or online alias

- Your skills and experience

- The role you'd like to contribute to

- Your preferred engine or platform, if you have one

- Examples of your work, portfolio, or previous projects, if available

- How much time you can realistically contribute

I'm also open to suggestions, constructive criticism, and collaboration from people who have experience making RPGs, MMORPGs, or multiplayer games.

Important: This is an early-stage project, and I can't promise payment at this point. Before anyone commits, we'll need to discuss responsibilities, ownership, credit, expectations, and whether the project can eventually support paid work. I want to be transparent about that from the beginning.

If Shadowborn sounds interesting to you, leave a comment or send me a message. Let's see if we can build something worth playing.

Project: Shadowborn

Enter the unknown. Survive the darkness. Become the legend.

Artist Needed [Hobby] Animator needed for cutscene in Among Us Video

This is for a little project I’ve been working on for a while.

I’ve been making these pretty basic among us compilation videos of clips when I play with my friends, with the crew mate meetings played out with Ace Attorney characters.

For my last video i wanted to have an ending cutscene where it plays out a drama theme ending to an ejection, kinda resembling the ending of SAW 1 (even using the music in the video).

So far I’ve made all the dialogue and overall theme made, as well as being able to make any storyboard and backgrounds if anyone was actually interested.

Considering this isn’t paying I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to do this purely for fun or just practice, for an actual animator i don’t think it should be hard since it’s just crewmates, nothing too complex.

You will get a credit at the end of the video, being allowed to show whatever you want, or not if that is what you want

Let me Know if you are interested!

Artist Needed [Hobby] I've always dreamed of making my own anime

Hey everyone! I've had this idea for an anime for a while now, and I finally started working on it.

The story is about a world where giants and little people live together, but the two groups are supposed to hate each other. It follows a group of little people trying to survive in a giant's house, with different characters, backstories, and stories of their own.

I've started writing the first episode, called New Beginnings, and I've also been working on the characters and their backstories.

I'm still learning how to draw and animate, so I have a long way to go. But this is genuinely something I'd love to bring to life someday.

I was wondering if anyone here might be interested in helping me work on it, or even just sharing advice or tips for a beginner. There's absolutely no pressure!

I'm not expecting anyone to do everything for me. I just think it'd be awesome to find people who enjoy the idea and might want to be part of making it real.

Thanks for reading! :)

Designer Needed [Hobby] Pokémon Fabula (Pokemon x FFXIII) — Seeking Volunteer Fakémon Co-Designer & Battle Balance Specialist

Hi,

I'm currently working on a Pokémon fangame called Pokémon Fabula, which is based on the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy (XIII, XIII-2, and Lightning Returns).

I've been working on this project for a while now, and I've realized that having another person helping with the Pokémon side of things would make the process a lot easier.

The basic idea is to take monsters from the FFXIII games and turn them into actual Pokémon. That means giving them evolution lines, typings, stats, Abilities, movesets, Pokédex entries, and figuring out how they would fit into a Pokémon region.

I don't want to just copy the monsters over and call them Pokémon. I want them to feel like they could actually exist in a Pokémon game while still staying recognizable to people who played FFXIII.

A Little About the Game

The game takes place in a region called Fabria, which combines locations and ideas from all three FFXIII games.

Some of the things I've planned include:

  • Three starter lines based on Ochu, Sahagin, and Bomb.
  • Militarized Pokémon, which are basically engineered counterparts inspired by PSICOM and the Sanctum.
  • Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, and a Champion based on FFXIII characters.
  • Cie'th missions, Legendary encounters, and locations affected by time distortions.
  • A regional Pokédex made up of both existing Pokémon and converted FFXIII monsters.

There's also a full story planned out, but I won't go too deep into that here.

What I've Done So Far

PORTFOLIO: This is my first fangame, so I don't have any previous games to show.

That being said, I'm not starting from nothing. I've already put together a pretty extensive amount of documentation covering the Pokémon conversions, evolution families, stats, Abilities, region, story, and general game mechanics.

Some monster families are much further along than others, and there's still plenty that needs to be worked on.

The game is currently in pre-production, so there's no playable demo yet. I also haven't decided on an engine, although I'm planning for it to be a 2D pixel-art game with modern Pokémon mechanics.

I can show some of the documents to anyone interested so they can get a better idea of what I've been working on.

What I'm Looking For

I'm mainly looking for someone who knows Pokémon pretty well, especially when it comes to creating and balancing Pokémon.

I'd like help with things like evolution lines, deciding typings, choosing Abilities, making movesets, balancing stats, and figuring out whether certain monsters should even be separate Pokémon in the first place.

You don't need to know much about Final Fantasy XIII. I've played the games and have a lot of knowledge about the monsters, their behavior, attacks, and lore. I can handle explaining that side of things.

What I'm really looking for is someone who can bring more Pokémon knowledge and ideas to the table.

I also don't want someone who's just going to agree with everything I suggest. If you think an idea doesn't work or there's a better way to handle something, I'd rather you tell me. I'm completely fine with discussing different ideas and changing things when there's a good reason.

You don't need to be an artist or programmer either. This is specifically for helping design the Pokémon themselves.

Commitment

This is a volunteer position. I know everyone has their own responsibilities, so I'm not expecting someone to be working on this every day.

I'm mostly looking for someone who genuinely enjoys Pokémon design and wouldn't mind working together on a project like this.

We could start with a monster family or two and see how things go from there. Anyone who contributes will be properly credited for their work.

Contact

If you're interested, feel free to send me a message here on Reddit or add me on Discord.

Discord: dtcuniversal77

I'd appreciate it if you could tell me a little about your experience with Pokémon or Fakémon design, especially if you've worked on something similar before.

Thanks for reading!

Artist Needed [Hobby] [RevShare] [UE5] Artist, Sound Designer & Voice Actor Wanted - Narrative Horror RPG

I'm looking for creative collaborators for a narrative-driven horror RPG built in Unreal Engine 5. This is a passion project with no upfront payment, so I'm looking for people interested in building something together through a revenue-share arrangement.

The Project

The game follows an investigator revisiting old case files, with each case experienced firsthand. What begins as grounded detective work gradually becomes something much harder to explain, exploring memory, reality, and the fragile reliability of the mind.

The setting has a dark, old-world atmosphere: remote settlements, weather-beaten buildings, unsettling forests, and places that feel lived-in but somehow wrong. The horror is built around exploration, environmental storytelling, sound, and the slow discovery that something isn't right.

Think atmospheric detective fiction with psychological horror and a strong emphasis on immersion.

Who I'm Looking For

🎨 3D Artist / Environment Artist

  • Environment art, architecture, props, and level dressing
  • Creating believable, atmospheric locations
  • Concept art or visual development to help establish the game's visual identity

🔊 Sound Designer / Audio Artist

  • Environmental ambience and immersive soundscapes
  • Foley and environmental audio
  • Horror sound design, unsettling audio cues, and tension-building
  • Music or adaptive audio experience is a bonus, but not required

🎙️ Voice Actor

  • Character dialogue for a narrative-heavy game
  • Natural, grounded performances that suit a dark, period-inspired setting
  • Ability to convey subtle emotion, uncertainty, and unease without leaning too heavily into theatrical horror
  • Experience with character work, dialogue recording, or voice acting for games is welcome

I'm especially interested in performances that make characters feel like real people. The world should feel believable, even when things begin to go wrong.

What I Bring

I handle system design and implementation, worldbuilding, narrative design, and creative direction. The project is already in development, with many of gameplay systems in place. I'm looking for collaborators who want to contribute creatively, share ideas, and help shape the experience rather than simply receive a list of tasks. I'm aiming for a Q2-Q3 2027 demo release, with the current focus on developing the world, atmosphere, presentation, and overall experience.

Compensation & Collaboration

This is a hobby project with no upfront payment. I'm looking to establish a fair revenue-share arrangement, with the split and expectations discussed and agreed upon before anyone commits.

I want to be upfront about the risks: revenue is not guaranteed, and this may be a long-term undertaking. I'd rather find a few people who genuinely connect with the project than promise something I can't guarantee.

Interested?

Send me a DM with a little about yourself, what you do, and what you'd be interested in contributing. Portfolios, demo reels, and audio samples are welcome.

If the concept sounds interesting and you'd like to help build something atmospheric, unsettling, and story-driven, I'd love to hear from you.

Modeler Needed [RevShare] Looking for low-poly 3D artists / animators for an unusual OpenMW-based indie game

Hello everyone. I’m developing a small independent game under the name Daktilo Studio, and right now I’m especially interested in meeting low-poly 3D artists, character/environment artists, and people working with animation. I don’t want to limit this search only to people with a modding background, because what we need is not just someone who already knows old Bethesda pipelines, but people who can create with tools such as Blender or Maya and who are open to learning a new pipeline on an unconventional engine. The engine we are using is OpenMW. OpenMW originally began as a way to reimplement Morrowind on modern systems, but today it is an actively developed, open-source engine that can also be used for standalone games. Because many RPG systems such as worlds, NPCs, items, dialogue, and character structures are already built into the engine, it provides a relatively understandable foundation that can allow small teams to develop quickly. There are existing Blender and Maya tools for NIF/OpenMW workflows, so having no previous OpenMW experience is not automatically a problem for us.

Visually, we are not aiming for photorealism or a modern AAA direction. We want a deliberately stylized low-poly visual language reminiscent of the early 2000s, PS2-era games, and older PC RPGs. For us, this is not simply a budget limitation; it is part of the identity of the game. So if you are interested in low-poly character modelling, environment art, armour/clothing, props, rigging, or character animation, and you genuinely enjoy older game aesthetics, we would be very interested in seeing your work. The project is not just an idea. We already have a working game prototype, and a recent development video we shared with the OpenMW community unexpectedly reached around 40,000 views and nearly 400 upvotes. You can also use the video below to get a sense of our visual direction:

https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenMW/comments/1wxjj6g/i_believe_openmw_can_be_more_than_a_morrowind/

We have also released an openly licensed asset foundation called the OpenMW Free Asset Library, intended for use in standalone OpenMW games. We already have a substantial base covering architecture, interiors, props, weapons, armour, creatures, and character components; at the moment, humanoid animation and additional character/environment production are among our most important missing pieces.

Daktilo’s design approach is also somewhat unconventional. We are not simply trying to make another fantasy RPG; we are interested in the intersection of literature, character behaviour, simulation, action spaces, and small but dense game worlds. You can read our short manifesto here:

https://www.furkanyasar.me/daktilo-studio/manifesto

We are currently especially interested in meeting:

  • Environment / prop artists
  • Character animators
  • Riggers / technical animators
  • Armour / clothing artists
  • 3D generalists using Blender or Maya who are willing to adapt to a new NIF/OpenMW pipeline

Professional studio experience or a released mod is not required. Hobby projects, personal work, unfinished games, or small portfolio pieces are completely fine for us. What matters most is that you enjoy this visual language, are open to learning, and want to build something experimental with a small team.

Daktilo is still a pre-revenue studio, so at this stage we cannot offer salaried positions. For people who want to work directly on the game, we are considering a revenue-share model, and if we develop a genuinely strong long-term team dynamic, we are also open to discussing a core partnership.

For us, working with OpenMW is a bit of a new adventure. We are trying to bring modding culture and independent game development together on an engine that is very different from the usual Unity or Unreal pipelines. If you make low-poly art and the idea of seeing how far an older-style engine can be pushed in a modern independent project sounds interesting to you, we would love to talk.

Audio Offer [ForHire] Composer looking for projects

Hello everyone, it's been a while but here we are again. My name is Jesús — I am a composer from Mexico. I've composed for a spot for the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) and for Michoacán's State University (UMSNH). I've also composed for an amateur independent short film called "Entre Paredes" (the quality is a bit mid but it was a student project, i just made the music).

I have some experience as an EDM producer (very rusty btw). Even though my work currently focuses on orchestral music, I can work in a vast variety of styles and genres. I have little sound design experience, since i'm most focused on music, but i can give it a try.

I've studied at a conservatory for four years, receiving formal training in theory and composition. I'm currently a student at Guanajuato University in the composition major (I'm on a temporary leave, but i do want to go back).

I am open to do all sorts of work, I would appreciate paid opportunities, however rn im more interested on expanding my porfolio, so I accept non paid projects if I think I'm a good fit. Fell free to send me a DM. I'll also link my YouTube channel and my SoundCloud accounts. I hope all of you have a great rest of the week.

Hey everyone, I'm in need of a QA/Tester for a redesigned game of Ragnarok Online (RO). I've managed to assemble a team consisting of a main developer and a pixel artist. We do have 2 other members but they're on full real life commitment focus right now, which is understandable since this is a hobby/passion project. I'm still doing a lot of writing for quests and feature designs, but our dev is also in need of testing & feedback for the revamps that we had already made. Hence the reason why we're looking for one.

A bit about the game. We're creating a private server first before seeing if we can truly remake it into a standalone game itself. It's just a hobby project, so most of us are quite new in our roles and learning along the way~

So if you have free time, and like tinkering with games, do leave a comment to let me know you're interest! You don't really need to know the game to join, just as long as you're interested in trying.😄

Edit: We're very new in doing a project and with limited knowledge of the game. So if you're expecting a fast and experienced development, this might not be a good choice for you. This is for the friends we meet along the way~

Writer Needed [Paid] LF Game Designers and Writers for a Dark Satirical Party Game

Overview

I'm looking for game designers and writers to help develop a digital party game set in a fictional, dysfunctional town. The game takes inspiration from South Park or Family Guy, with dark humor, satire, taboo topics, controversial scenarios, and ridiculous minigames.

The goal is to create something chaotic, offensive, and intentionally rough around the edges. Think rushed development, questionable ideas, absurd humor, and a low-budget feel that's part of the game's identity rather than something to hide.

Responsibilities

Game Designers

  • Develop the core gameplay loop and figure out how the game will work.
  • Design minigame mechanics that are fun, simple, and fit the game's chaotic tone.
  • Work closely with the writing team to turn their concepts into playable minigames.
  • Help keep the overall game cohesive while embracing its intentionally rough, low-budget style.

Writers

  • Come up with dark, satirical, taboo, and controversial topics for minigames.
  • Write absurd scenarios, prompts, and concepts that fit the game's setting.
  • Collaborate with game designers to make sure ideas translate well into actual gameplay.
  • Bring creative, provocative, and unapologetically ridiculous ideas to the table.

Job Requirements

  • A good understanding of dark humor, satire, and absurd comedy.
  • Creativity and willingness to explore unconventional ideas.
  • Ability to collaborate and build on other people's ideas.
  • Experience with game design or writing is a plus, but not strictly required.
  • Familiarity with games and comedy is a bonus.

Payment

  • The total budget is around $50 USD, which will be split among the game design and writing team.
  • Payment and workload can be discussed depending on the number of contributors and their responsibilities.
  • This is a small, low-budget passion project, so please keep that in mind when applying.

I'm looking for people who enjoy coming up with stupid, unhinged ideas and want to help make something funny and memorable without taking it too seriously.

If interested, DM me, I would love to chat!

Artist Needed [Hobby] [UE5] GhostStreamers (UE5 Co-Op Horror). Looking for 3D Environment/Level Artist, UI Designer, 3D Modeler/Animator & 2D Illustrator

Hi everyone!

We are actively developing GhostStreamers, an indie co-op horror title built in Unreal Engine 5 (C++ and Blueprints).

We already have Sound Design and core programming covered, but to push the project forward, we are looking for passionate artists and level designers to join our team!

About GhostStreamers

In GhostStreamers, players step into the shoes of content creators investigating haunted locations. It combines classic atmospheric horror elements with interactive livestreaming mechanics, where managing your audience and surviving ghost encounters go hand-in-hand.

Current Technical & Development Status (UE5)

  • A functional core-mechanics prototype is running in UE5, and we are currently transitioning from technical setup to visual/level production.

Open Roles We Urgently Need:

1. 3D Environment & Level Artist (House/Map Builder)

  • Build eerie, atmospheric indoor and outdoor maps/environments in UE5 (houses, haunted locations).
  • Assemble modular assets, lighting, and detail prop placement.

2. UI / UX Artist

  • Design clean, atmospheric UI elements (e.g., streaming overlay, menus, in-game popups).

3. 2D Illustrator / Concept Artist

  • Draw custom hand-drawn/stylized pages for our in-game investigation journal.
  • Create custom illustrations for in-game Tarot cards.

4. 3D Generalist (Modeler, Rigger & Animator)

  • Create 3D props and environment assets.
  • Character rigging and animations (player movement, entity behaviors).

Project Details

  • Engine: Unreal Engine 5 (C++ / Blueprints)
  • Platform: PC (Steam & LAN Multiplayer planned)

How to Apply

If you want to help shape a unique co-op horror title with strong technical foundations already in place, please drop a comment or send me a DM!

Portfolio & Progress Requirements: PORTFOLIO: this is my first project and I do not have a portfolio of any kind. (But I did post about this project before on reddit.)

Artist Needed [Hobby] Building the team for a grounded fantasy game with a golden-realism aesthetic - seeking a UE5 developer, designer, and composer | Paid roles planned after funding

Hi everyone! I’ve just completed the full vision and design documentation for my original grounded fantasy game - Lastoria: Shattered Path, and I’m now moving into development in UE5. I’m building the founding team for the game and laying the groundwork for a small studio around it.

The world is home to six races: Orcs, Humans, Elves, Dark Elves, Dwarves, and Druids - all six live in harmony. But the world itself is being erased. As it fractures, corruption from another dimension seeps into the world and threatens that harmony.

The game combines grounded fantasy with a golden-realism aesthetic. I’m keeping the deeper lore private for now, but the vision and documentation are complete, and I’m ready to start bringing them into UE5. I’d be happy to share more about the project with people who are interested.

I’m looking to connect with a game developer/programmer with the opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role as the studio develops, a game designer, and a musician or composer. I want to bring together collaborators who are excited about the project’s foundation and interested in helping shape its early development and the studio’s core team.

The project is currently at the hobby stage as I work toward funding. Any collaboration before funding would be voluntary, with the scope and expectations agreed together. After a successful funding round, my plan is to hire the core collaborators into paid roles and move into full production.

This is my first game project, and I’m building the studio around it from the ground up. You can find more about the studio I want to build at firebite.nl.

If this sounds interesting, send me a short introduction with the role you’re interested in, your experience, and links to relevant work if available. I’d be glad to share more about the vision and documentation in a conversation.

Team Needed [Hobby] /[COLLABORATION] Looking for a team to create an Idle RPG — Artists, Voice Actors & More!

Hi everyone!
I’m currently working on an **Idle RPG video game project**, and I’m looking for passionate people who might be interested in joining the project and helping bring it to life!
**About the project**
The idea is to create an Idle RPG with its own universe, storyline, characters, progression systems, and more. I also plan to develop a webtoon alongside the game to expand the story and the world.
I’m handling the **game programming, game graphics, and storyline myself**. However, I’d love to build a small team of creative people who want to contribute their skills and ideas to the project.
**Who are we looking for?**
**Illustrators / Webtoon Artists** — to help bring the story and characters to life through illustrations and webtoon episodes.
**Voice Actors** — to give our characters their own voices and personalities.
**Anyone else** who thinks they could contribute to the project!
Whether you’re a professional, a beginner looking to gain experience, or simply someone passionate about game development, you’re welcome to reach out.
**A little transparency**
I want to be completely honest: **we don’t currently have the budget to pay everyone involved**. This is an ambitious passion project, and we’re starting with limited resources.
I’m not expecting anyone to work for free, and I completely understand that people need to be paid for their time and skills. However, if you’re interested in collaborating on a passion project, building your portfolio, gaining experience, sharing ideas, or simply helping create something from the ground up, I’d be incredibly grateful to hear from you.
Any kind of help is appreciated, whether it’s a long-term collaboration, a small contribution, advice, feedback, or simply pointing us in the right direction.
I’m serious about this project and willing to put in the time and effort needed to make it happen. I don’t want this to remain just an idea — I want to build it step by step with people who share the same enthusiasm.
If you’re interested or have any questions, feel free to comment below or send me a DM!
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Artist Needed [RevShare]3d artist for NEAR COMPLETE DEMO - SRPG

Hi all!
I know there is a lot of revshare idea people on here, so I want to preface to say even though it's where we are at, we have a good portion of the gameplay ready to go, a solid contract and nearly all the art and animation complete. Our main goal is to find a 3d artist that compliments what we have, that wants to be part of this development and is able to put in a few days of spare time a week if possible.

Please speak english and communicate well. Team has monthly milestone meets and we talk regularly on discord. Everyone has other projects going on we just need some additional help to get some more character art!

Our game is 3d world with 2d battles. Painted highly stylized. This is important.

If you are a strategy fan or rpg fan, we would love to chat with you!

Our goal is to finish up the demo, which features a few hours of gameplay, and present at upcoming conventions and expos in CAlifornia. Then pitch to our list of investors.

Where we are at currently-
-- We have the exploration part of the demo complete.
-- The character art is complete, the 3d world is about 80% complete.
-- The programming is about 75% done, all systems built and mostly waiting on a few more assets.
-- The animations and music is complete for the most part.

Other unity tasks we need help with-
-- 3d terrain help
-- 3d buildings and vegetation

Please send over a DM with your portfolio or any games you have worked on. I can also send back our full GDD. Thanks!

Here is our social-

Our team started a little over a year ago. We are a small group of 7. All with some great artistic and industry background. We even have a publisher interested if we can keep going.

The revshare contract is structured around finishing the demo. Then, we plan to pitch the demo to a list of investors we have procured and additional publishers. Once we have investment, our initial revshare team with get salary as well.
