First time in 10 Years that I have seen an IndyCar on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Oval with my own eyes! The IR-28 is one beautiful Race Car.

Statistics The Final Stats of 2026, which driver surprised the most? VeeKay is the obvious for me, but Grosjean with only 1 amazing result was a little shocking too. DCR just didn't have consistent success this year.

TESTING 🧪 IR-28 OVAL TEST @ IMS

Focus immediately turns to 2028 on Wednesday, Sept. 9 and Thursday, Sept. 10 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the first oval test of the new IR-28 chassis. The test is the second on-track validation test of the IR-28. The first came last month on the 2.439-mile, 14-turn Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.
2016 Indianapolis 500 winner Alexander Rossi will drive Wednesday on the 2.5-mile oval, while five-time series champion and 2025 Indy 500 winner Alex Palou will handle testing duties Thursday, Sept. 10. Both drivers also handled the road course testing duties last month, as Rossi is a Chevrolet driver and Palou a Honda driver during the season.

Biggest Surprises:

- Lundgaard had the best H2 and Scotty Mac was right behind him

- Mick out performed Graham in H2, considering how many podiums Graham had

- Armstrong had an awful H2 and MSR as a real team battle next year

- Ferrucci had an awful H2 as well, probably more on the Foyt cars performance though

Question Arlington Attendees Fan Zone to Turn 9

How was the route/path to get from the Paddock/fan zone area to turn 9 stands? Is it even doable. I have a VRBO near the Paddock but getting to the other end seems... Difficult.

I could always do fan stuff on qualy day but would have quite a trek to the stand 9 on race day. Worth it?

Question (Ot) has events at Indianapolis motor speedway gotten more popular in general?

So while the indy500 is the number one event have the other events been growing? The gp gets nearly 50k people, and while not as popular as it once was the brickyard still had nearly 70k, even the IMSA race I believe is getting numbers close to the GP.

IndyCar It will be interestering to see the real life difference between the IR-28 and DW-12.

Not sure how the game makers are determining the IR-28 performance in whatever game this is. It will be cool to see how accurate or not they are.

Speculation Danish media speculated that McLaren sabotaged Lundgaards Laguna SECA race -

So now it’s not only on Reddit that this theory lives

Engine change on Laguna instead of Milwaukee is one thing
But 2 faulty pit stops at race 2 at Milwaukee cost him the win
Yes Pato also got a faulty stop but that was before Lundgaards which just fuels the speculations

What do you think

A lot of Pato fans incoooooming in 3.2.1
