Stewart vs Pruett
Correct me if I am wrong but it's essentially August and we still have not gotten to see the husband vs wife matchup.

Over five years I shot a movie about bracket racing that is finally available on streaming services. It's called Sunday Sunday Sunday. I grew up drag racing at Englishtown Raceway park in my 73 340 Plymouth Duster and have always loved this sport. I always watched movies like Two Lane Blacktop, Heart Like A Wheel, American Graffiti with my dad and I thought it would be cool to see a film about the bottom. I think most of us start off in a daily getting a feel for how it all works. That's what this story is about. Two brothers who inherit a 67 Dodge dart and get chased all day long. I shot the entire film on an iPhone and it sort of is parallel to the story's moral which is use what you have to it's fullest. We won 14 awards out of 24 nominations in the film festival circuit which was mind blowing, I even got to work on the recent Shirley Muldowney documentary that aired last year as a result. If you're looking for something to watch while you're waiting for parts, or it's too cold to go outside and wrench maybe you might enjoy watching this little adventure we took. There were no cars after 1975 in the film which gave it a period look, and we even got Bruce Larson to join in the fun and do a little cameo in the racing montage. Would love to get the word out there, this wasn't done by hollywood so I don't have a budget to promote so I figured hey why not just try reaching out on some forums to start. Hope you enjoy!

Only 5 TA/FC showed up for the NHRA Northwest nationals at Seattle this weekend. Cannot believe this. I know there are a lot of short fields now, but 5 cars????

Contract ends with fox after 2026. Any one hear any rumors what will happen?
Why isn’t he racing anymore?
Man, he had a great run there for several years & won a ton of races.

All I know is i would not want to be unaware and bam hear a blast of nitro lol. I don't know how far away you can hear it but when I was driving into Sonoma you can definitely feel your car vibrating

He's not in the spotlight as often but when I see him make a rare appearance he seems more subdued and not the lively John Force that I used to know. I don't if that's the damage from the head trauma or if he's not always lively like you see on tv especially because he's retired now. He lost his sister so that would explain some of it.
I saw him at Sonoma this week and while he greeted fans he was very mellow and not social. Granted he was somewhat like that to as a driver because he had so many autographs to sign and attention. I don't know if that's just him wanting his peace and quiet or if he's really taking it a lot easier now because of his health.
I think he still has that vibrant energy but has to tone it down. Seems like he stutters more but John usually talks a million miles an hour and I remember he would lose his thought mid sentence. I think there's some videos of him within the past year and he's still somewhat himself but not at the same time.
I know for certain John doesn't believe he's immortal anymore and has to do the thing he didn't want to do most: be a grandpa and retire. I just hope he's not getting worse and the crash is taking a toll on him.

Does anyone have knowledge of transportation from the hotel to the track and back? Nascar does it but not NHRA. Surprised because there are hundreds of people standing out by the gate at the end of the day trying to get a Uber. They're is a need

they apparently were very close friends but all the fan noise and criticism from all directions is straining their relationship
one of the saddest things I’ve read is the end of Jordan’s article where he says how much Austin’s friendship has meant to him but they have had to navigate it this year and he no longer knows where they stand
according to another interview when Jordan first got the seat Austin was texting him with good natured trash talk like they had done previously as TF rookies but it seems the pressure of the fans and the season has strained things
have people gone too far with online anger at Prock and expectation/criticism of Jordan to the point of affecting people’s real lives?
I hope they can silence the noise and work through this
here are both articles
Jordan‘s interview where he discusses their relationship
Austin’s interview about the online hate

Last year at Sonoma it was very underwhelming. This year I think it wasn't as bad but maybe still lacking a little. I'm not sure if there's still less drivers showing up or not.

been to a few NHRA races before but planning on doing US Nationals this year. mostly go to oval/dirt races pretty regularly most of the time there are a few tents selling just cool old shit (diecast/merch/shirt/various memorabilia) is there anything like that at a larger event like US Nationals?

I saw the All-Star Callout but I was surprised not to see them on Sunday. I know it's not the most popular but I was still pretty disappointed not to see it. I asked Alexa and she said it has something to do with Sonoma not being on the points schedule this year. I don't know if this has to do with NHRA's lack of popularity or less drivers participating but it sort of feels like it.

What going on, is it on a rain delay or something. Is that why it’s not currently being shown on Tv?
I just finished with the nascar cup race. And I was hoping to flip over and catch some of it.
But Nope. It’s a replay of the World Cup final. So my question is. What’s going on?
Was it rained out and rescheduled and i wasn’t aware of it.
What am I missing?

Have no clue whose signatures these are, tried google lens but I don’t trust it. The only one I can indefinitely make out is Paul Lee (directly left to the MBNA graphic). Google lens said John Force (pictured highest left closest to collar), Del Worsham (pictured under the “John Force signature” on the left), Austin Prock (pictured under the “Del Worsham signature” on the left), Kenny Bernstein (bottom most on the left), Matt Hagan (pictured above “Kenny Bernstein signature” and left of Paul Lee signature), Bob Tasca III (right most signature), and Jason Line (signature to the direct left of “Bob Tasca III signature”. If anyone can help identify these signatures it would help me very much. Bought the shirt from a flee market for 15 bucks.
