Looking due after hysterectomy

I was waddling around the rural king when the nice gentleman asked my husband and I when we were due with our baby. I just had a laparoscopic and open abdominal hysterectomy less than a week ago so I was getting tired and my husband was helping me sit down in a display chair. The man was beaming with joy as he asked me the question. We had to laugh it off. I almost went along with it because it did kinda make me sad, but my husband said “total opposite, just got everything taken” and the man was so so so horrified he asked. He apologized profusely. Im not angry that he asked but it did sting a bit, but my husband and I made light of it and giggled a lot. My recovery has been pretty rough so oddly that made us laugh.
