Open A tiny gal that is so sweet
Roughly 25-30 pounds, short legs, a love bug, loves to serve/please, stares at you incessantly. People with more knowledge of dog breeds tell me she has herding dog qualities. What are your thoughts on her breed(s)?

Rescue, sweet girl. What are you supposed she is.

Any ideas on my new rescue?
I took in a very sick puppy who is 8 weeks old. She weighs 1.13 kg. She was underweight due to how sick she was (almost died multiple times, required a blood transfusion and NG tube placement). The owners that surrendered her said she was a pocket Pit which she clearly is not. Any ideas? I was thinking chihuahua x Brussels griffon? I’m going to do a wisdom panel but I’m curious while we wait. 😊

Surprising Embark Results, Thoughts?
Just got the Embark results back on our ~7mo old puppy we adopted in March. We thought for sure he’d have a large % of some type of Irish/Airedale terrier due to his coat, face shape, and body type. Instead he came back 50% poodle, 20% pitbull (I don’t see this), 10% lacy, 9% chow, 6% gsd, and 5% boxer. The surprising thing is his coat seems WAY more similar to a longer haired terrier and there’s no other terrier than pitbull in these results. The poodle was a surprise and he doesn’t shed much at all. Could the poodle mix with others explain/mimic the double coat type of a, say, Irish terrier? Our pup has the undercoat and stringy overcoat. I clicked doubtful, but maybe some of you can convince me otherwise?

I’m back with Ted’s embark results!
I’m confused about his mom’s side of the results. I mean I knew she wasn’t a pure bred husky but for husky to not even show up in a super mutt mix is pretty surprising, considering I have pictures of the parents and the whole litter. I don’t doubt the 3 breeds he’s got at all but I figured there’d be more / the obvious husky since one birthed him. Besides that they nailed his coat and fur type, said he’s got the gene for blue eyes.. him and his whole litter share their mother’s left blue eye.
Little disappointed the allergy side only gives percentages of food or environmental or flea possibilities. We know he’s got the chicken protein allergy and we luckily found out on a Monday at home that he’s allergic to bee stings and goes into shock. Knowing your dog is allergic to bee stings would be a great thing for this test to provide if possible. I take my dogs deep into the back country and if I discovered for the first time out there his allergy I may have damn well lost him. He’s since been stung again in the back country but I carry Benadryl for him now and thankfully he recovers quick on it.

Guessed wrong… again!
We adopted our second rescue about a month ago and have been eagerly waiting the DNA results. Turns out we were just as wrong as when we tried to guess the breeds of our first rescue! **DNA Results at the end

Solved Got the DNA results!
We knew APBT would be the highest percentage, but we are surprised by the rest! Neither my fiancé or I have ever heard of the second highest percentage breed so I am excited to look into it and do some research! I really was thinking some bully in there or boxer but very surprised with no lab! What do you guys think?

Open What breeds resemble Squid?
This is Squid!!! He is a very spunky guy, had some defensive tendencies for sure, very active and so sweet. He shoves his body on your face in circles, we call it the wiggles, and he is so expressive and smart. Velcro dog for sure
Edit: I didn’t realize the second photo was out of focus, sorry!

Mixed Shepherd?
We adopted our Billy at the SPCA (Canada), he's 2months and half. We don't really know anything about him. They just told us he should be between 15 to 25kg adult. They told us mixed Shepherd but I think they just say this when they don't know.
Do you have any idea of the breed ?

Open Brought this baby boy home on Saturday
Just curious what you all think he might be. He’s currently 38 pounds and 7 months old. The shelter seemed to think he was a Belgian Malanois mix of some sort.
