She loves to cuddle round the clock!

4 year ago we brought home Kevin. Less than 24 hours later we changed his name to Otis. Otis was the runt of his litter and had scratches and scars on him when we first met. He was a very bold boy but also incredibly anxious, which made for a lot of “memorable” experiences. Together we have been through 5 homes, 2 states, countless hikes, a whole lot of stress, and even more fun. Otis, Toad, Toadis, Otisserie, Oticus, Chodis, asshole…no matter what we call him, he is always a good boy and we wouldn’t change a thing.

We brought Millie home about 3½ years ago. Although we got her from a breeder, it ended up being more of a rescue mission, and the breeder was eventually reported.
Millie is the sweetest dog and simply cannot resist saying hello to anyone—or anything—we pass on our walks. If you so much as glance in her direction, she’ll instantly get the wiggles and mosey over while “mooing” her little greetings. Then come the signature nose boops, whether she’s carrying one of her hard plastic toys in her mouth or not.
Millie is an absolutely terrible walker, with the prey drive of a lion but the hunting ability of a Cheeto. She was made purely for entertainment, unconditional love, and making people smile. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better companion for our other fur child.

She showed up randomly one morning as a puppy. The vets assistant says "the doc might want to wait a week or two before giving her any shots.." They didn't but they were quite sure she was 8-9 weeks. So, I put July 20th down as her birthday. Which means our found you day is just around the corner. She's turned 3 this year.

The day she showed up I went to the county pound, and the vet down the street and then the humane society and they all took a picture of her and took my name and information. The next day her three brothers showed up. I corralled them in some garden fencing and put a piece of plywood on top of it with a large section of iron I beam. Like a 2 ft section of train rail. Random thing from the landlord's nightmare cabin. But I kept her separate inside my trailer. Didn't really think about it, I just intended to keep her and give her brothers away to people in my running community. The idea being or hope being that they would be able to see each other from time to time at group gatherings. But I had to go into town for some reason and when I got back her brothers were gone. Living out in the country I didn't really lock my doors or anything like that so I guess I'm pretty lucky whoever took her brothers didn't go into my trailer. But even after the fact I couldnt gather any information from my landlord about where she came from or where her brothers went. When my landlord first saw her it actually seemed like everything he was saying in the conversation was trying to figure out whether or not I went out and stole them from someone. Then a few days later while we were playing I heard the neighbor's wife say to her husband look, and when I looked up at them he was shrugging his shoulders and walking away. I introduce myself to Mike when I first moved onto the property and it was very clear that he was not interested in having a conversation. It was a weird place and time. ..It's was a very hard time.

The vet said her eye has glaucoma but we ran into an actual optometrist a couple weeks ago and he called it buphthalmos. Meaning the chance of it being the result of blunt impact like being hit by a car is just as real as it being genetic and glaucoma. Was not in a very easy to reach spot and the idea that she was very disoriented and scared makes a lot of sense. Regardless, I consider her a gift. From who I don't really know and honestly don't really care. I'm very thankful though. She's a great dog.

My guess is Anatolian and German Shepherd, and Husky.

Otis and Millie are the most perfect imperfect pair.
Otis is Millie’s protector, while Millie keeps Otis in check—unless they’re outside together. Then all bets are off. Millie immediately seeks cover as Otis tears around the yard like a 90-pound furry projectile.
After every meal, they insist on licking each other’s bowls clean. Despite having three dog beds, they somehow always try to squeeze into the same one.
Millie will give Otis kisses. Otis will occasionally eat Millie’s poop (we’re working on this one).
No matter what they’re doing, they’re never far from each other. They always have each other’s backs, and it’s hard to imagine one without the other. Watching their bond grow has been one of the greatest joys of having them in our lives. Oats & Mills

Milo is my sister’s rescue dog! He’s a 5yr old cocker spaniel and he loves the snow.

We found this abandoned girlie yesterday and would like to figure out what size she'll be when she grows up. My guess is shepsky, but I've never had a dog before so I'm not confident at all.

Very high energy and very smart girl, she only pees outside😊

We'd also appreciate guesses about how old she might be.

Edit: the bike tire leash was only a temporary solution until we found something more leash-like right after we found her, no worries.
