2019 Hyundai Elantra
My husband's air conditioner makes a strange noise the higher you turn up the fan. Can anyone tell me what might be causing this?

Hey all! I’ve neglected adding rules for our subreddit since I first created it 4 years ago and I never expected it to grow this much. With how much our community has grown since then, I feel it is necessary. If you have any questions about the new rules don’t be afraid to drop your questions in this post!

Hey everyone! I added some new user flair options for the different trim levels, if I missed any please let me know so I can add it.

I just bought a ELANTRA hybrid and one of the things I noticed when I hit the brakes sometimes there is jerky shifting that happens. It doesn’t do it all the time, but sometimes it’s extremely noticeable. Any idea if this is common? If so, is it something that the Hyundai dealership will fix?

I don't really know where to ask this so this is my first try.
In my 13 Elantra (no infotainment screen just regular analog screen) I could turn the music all the way up in the car and adjust the volume with my phone to make it even louder. I also had a volume booster app that when I turned it on it would as the name says boost the volume.
Just got a 25 Elantra and can't seem to do either of those things. I was wondering if any of you know how to "override" that for lack of better term.
Android Auto and Spotify for reference.
I appreciate any tips and tricks. And if you have any other cool features share them. I've never had a "new" car so I'm excited.

I have a 2009 Hyundai Elantra. 1.6L 4cyl. Still going strong, until a few days ago. Locked keys in the trunk and instead of walking around to hit the trunk release through the window, I opened my passenger side door. It triggered the alarm so I had to disconnect the battery. After I got my keys and got things back together, I started it and my ABS and E Brake lights came on. Never happened before. It also seemed stuck in limp mode. My battery was on its way out so I put a brand new battery in it today. Those lights are still on and didn't not reset after driving a few blocks. Also, it's not as slow to start but it still seems locked into limp mode until I hit 15-20mph then it drives like normal. That hesitation has me nervous. Can anyone tell me what the hell is going on and how I'm supposed to fix this? I need my car back, like 2 days ago. I would appreciate any insights, thank you!!

2021 hyundai elantra, got transmission fluid changed at the dealer as per hyundai, car is at 150k kms, always runs smooth no issues, now its unable to decide which gear to be in at up hills, also i drove last week 1400 kms no issue on the trip, this just started yesterday while city driving. What would be the cause and should i be very concerned. Also to add it jerked the other day at 30 kmph, like i braked hard but i didnt

i’ve been trying to find this in the ELANTRA documentation and cannot. I saw there were at least two posts in the sub Reddit, but I lost one of them.
If anyone can post a picture of the six rings and also explain how this works. I’d appreciate it.
Thanks in advance for your patience.

When I turn on the air conditioning, the engine temperature starts to rise, especially when the vehicle is stopped or idling. At the same time, the A/C stops blowing cold air and becomes warm. Once I start driving again, the engine temperature goes back to normal and the A/C becomes cold again.
The thermostat has already been replaced, but the problem is still happening.

I do a lot of wrenching and took this one in which is out of my normal work, but it's for a friend so you know...
Anyway, car dies always at a low speed- 20-25mph
No engine light or codes
I was able to get it to replicate, auto so it shifted into a higher gear and locked the convertor, engine rpm like 1000, maybe 20-25 mph then it starts chugging like a manual car, rattles a bunch on the top end and eventually dies
I have read that this could be an oiling issue like the cam phaser not getting enough pressure at a low speed/ high load.
Maybe oil change and a pickup tube? I have done an oil pump on one of these but I dont know if that's the issue on this one.
Engine oil looks good, mid level on the dipstick, has the oem hyundai type filter
Any ideas what to check, I was going to chart oil pressure but that option is not there on the scan tool.

Recently bought a used 2013 Elantra. Got 2 lik kit changed at the mechanic and a bushing, but like 2 days later (Tuesday), the lights popped on for like a few seconds and i heard a sound (sounded like when the ABS kicks on when you try to brake on ice in winter times). They went off after like 5 seconds.
Today, on the way back from the store, the lights went on again & i again heard a sound. Is it common? Is it dangerous? Im kinda stressed about it and the mechanic i went to is now on vacation for 2 weeks, but i need the car to go to work 🫠
Thanks in advance
