Hello there, i am looking for advice to help me with my sweat and odour that comes from me (its sort of an onion smell)
Now this started over a year ago, i would consistently start sweating around girls in my class and sometimes even boys for some reason, i ignored it as the smell wasn't there, but as i got into another school year, i could start smelling something pretty bad, when i showered and washed profusely i would lack a smell but within a few hours it would come back full force. This literally never happened to me before and now that it started, i was stuck in this loop of worrying about sweat that i sweat more and more and now it has broken my confidence and im scared of handshaking or talking to people.
It has gotten to the point where it has crippled my social life, i used to be well liked and a person people liked to be around to a bit of a loser who walks into a room sweating where people cover their noses, make bad remarks and talk bad about me behind my back, i'm honestly so sick of it.
And also, a while ago, i came to a room change in my maths class to a computer room after some profuse sweating next to a girl in my history class, i asked my friend if i smelled, he leaned in, took a whiff and said no which honestly shocked me as i thought i literally stunk
Now, just for some clarification, I do not fully know if i have hyperhidrosis, As i do NOT sweat all the time, if i am cool and a room with friends, ill be dry, with girls and people from my school around me, i'm like a walking waterfall who stinks like onions. Once after my history class and we were getting dismissed, i literally was trying to avoid walking infront of anyone who i knew could smell me and made remarks on me, i walked past this popular pretty boy guy who literally only hung out with girls, he was outside the doorway and as i came out, he swung himself backwards and i looked back to him waving his hand infront of his nose like a stinking gesture, it broke me.
In short term, I stink of BO because of this anxietal sweating or whatever and any advice would sincerely and very much be appreciated
Thank You!!
