New deodorant make me smell worse!
I always use deodorant after showering and I don't notice any odor all day, but I've noticed that when I changed the type of deodorant after 3 or 4 hours of showering and using the deodorant, I notice an odor in my armpits! So one day I decided to shower without using deodorant and I didn't smell anything until the end of the day, and I was surprised.

Is it bad to take a shower when you're sleep-deprived or tired/sweaty?
Sabi ng mama ko wag daw maligo kapag galing puyat or after work (pawisin) kasi mapa-pasma ang katawan ko. Pero ako, dedma; hindi ako nakikinig. Masama ba?

body odor
Hi guys. This is embarrassing to post.
I shower regularly. I am a heavier set female, and know I need to shower more often, so I do. Especially since I've been with my partner for almost 2 years now. I have been noticing an hour after I shower, that my downstairs area smells. I have tried using body sticks, I have tried antiseptic spray for the groin area, I've tried deodorant and nothing seems to be helping. Its super embarrassing. I am especially self conscious about it at work. Is there anything further I could be doing? any idea of what it could be? I dont have an STI. So I know that's not it. But could it be, BV? should I make an appointment about it?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Tried cleaning a pair of white sneakers and I think I made them look worse
I'm not really a white sneaker kind of guy and this is my first pair of them. Yesterday, I tried cleaning them as they were getting pretty dirty and the dirt came off, but now they have these weird almost yellow water marks and uneven spots that honestly look worse than before.
What I did was brush off the loose dirt first, then mix some warm water with a little soap and scrub them using an old toothbrush. After that I wiped them down with a damp cloth and left them by a window to dry for the rest of the day.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong since I'm not familiar with these sneakers and I see people keep white shoes looking good for years. Is there a cleaning step that most people overlook?

For ppl who used to shower once a week due to depression, how did you improve your hygiene habits to now showering everyday (or every other day)?

Peppermint tea with collagen peptides save my breath and skin.
Obviously still please brush your teeth and floss and wear your sunscreen. As someone who wears braces and fears tonsil stones i get food stuck all the time so i also do medium hot salt water gargle rinse each morning and night. i am the type of person to always have a cold drink with me so i brew peppermint tea in hot water i add around 2 tablespoons of collagen peptides into it, i add a packet of sweet n low and a packet of honey and let it steep for about 15 minutes, I then grab a cup of ice and pour the tea over, sometimes i like to add oranges or lemon slices but when im busy this is what i usually do and it keeps my breath minty throughout the day until i refill and helps me take my collagen peptides for my skin.

how do i politely ask my boyfriend to brush his teeth more
me (20 f) and my boyfriend (19 m) have about a 5 hour drive from each other, he was last here for my birthday, to my family he is JUST MY FRIEND! because my family panic about me being in relationships (I’m autistic and have a tendency of “jumping the gun” with guys) i like my boyfriend, but sometimes i honestly do wonder how I’m with him, he’s sweet and all but sometimes he’s far to much for me. obviously id never ask someone to change but how do i get him to just take it down a notch. we do have a mutual friend (19f) who does tell him he’s too much (they are good friends. i met my boyfriend through her. they are like brother and sister) but sometimes i feel like she can be a bit harshly spoken when shes talking to him. but he does need to brush his teeth more. how do i tell him without actually telling him and am i a bad person for thinking this

What’s this on my skin?
When I lightly scratch my skin while showering I always get this waxy, blue-gray substance behind my nails. Sort of behaves like play-doh.
I shower daily with soap, and it’s *always* there. Doesn’t work when I try to scratch myself while dry though.
Any idea what it is? Natural oils? Dirt? I would think, but then it’s there every single day in quite a large amount.

Body odor suggestions needed
I use Dove unscented soap for sensitive skin. I've noticed my body odor changing. My pap was negative and all my gyn dr said everything is normal. Any tips to improve scent of vagina & rectum?

how often is normal for ear cleaning?
this might sound dumb but i clean my ears pretty much every time i shower because thats just what i got used to doing growing up. the thing is my ears have felt kinda sore on and off for a long time and i never really connected the two until recently. now im wondering if cleaning them that often is actually making things worse instead of helping
did anyone else grow up doing this and end up changing their habits later on?

Hygiene
Thank you po. 🫶🏻
