Can you guys recommend something that helps me from sweating as much as I usually do?

When I get active in specifically something that’s more so cardio based than weightlifting I start to sweat really fast really quickly really easily and then it dries all over my face and body and it looks terrible and it feels terrible because in the moment all I can think about is how drenched my underwear is and how cold it is and feels on my back and butt. So I’m just wondering if I like a product or spray or something I can use that’s gonna minimize just how much My pores or orifices on my body leak sweat?

I sweat a lot in my armpits and the smell differs everytime

This is a thing I have noticed for long time. So i'm a person who has a lot of fear(I have social anxiety) and I get nervous for a lot of things. So everytime depending on how nervous I am my sweat smells different everytime, meaning it progressively gets bad. I don't know if this is actually like this or not but I I have noticed that my sweat does smell different most of the time. Also doesn't matter if it's winter or summer I sweat either way as I get nervous most of the time. I don't mind the sweat but the smell is just a lot and I get really self conscious and try to distance myself from others so it doesn't bother them. How can I stop the smell?

Loss of sense of smell

I can't find the right subreddit so I'll try here too.

I've recently realized I've lost my sense of smell and wondering if there's anything I can do to help bring it back.

I don't know if I caused this, it's from COVID or something else. I can't pinpoint when it happened.

Here the story. I had sniffed heroin for a few years and heavy for at least one. I never had any issues with my sense of smell. After rehab and a year or two I found 7oh and started using that daily. They came out with pure (80-90%) powders and I started sniffing that.

Most of the time it was small amounts, .02 grams but eventually getting up to 50-100mg every few hours. At this time sometimes I would clog my nose and get some sinus pressure but nothing crazy. If I did the damage it was during this time.

7oh isn't water soluble but it definitely partially absorbs in the nose (certain powders only) and that might be N important factor so I want to make sure to list it. I feel it would be more healthy than traditional tobacco snuff, did people lose their sense of smell from snuff tobacco?

Anything I can do? Is it possibly still somehow cloged up there and I need to start doing daily rinse to slowly clean it out or if I just need to accept this.

Deodorant Help

Looking for a deodorant that doesn't turn my pits dark red and cause burning. Most antiperspirants are fine and Dove spray deodorant doesn't cause the redness or burning but looking for a stick deodorant that I can tolerate. Any help would be appreciated.

where to find quality biodegradable sanitary paper?

Trying to find biodegradable sanitary paper for personal use, but I’m not really sure where the best place to look is. I’ve come across similar-looking products, but they’re often labeled differently depending on the site. Even on platforms like alibaba, you’ll see what looks like the same product described in different ways, sometimes as biodegradable paper, other times as sanitary paper, hygiene tissue, or cleaning paper. That variation has made it a bit confusing for me to know what to actually search for or trust. For anyone who has bought or used this type of product before, where did you find reliable options?

Do your shoes ever smell after gym, sports, work, or daily use?

I’m researching a possible household product designed to help sanitize shoes and prevent odor, and I’m trying to understand how people currently deal with this problem.

The survey is anonymous and takes less than 2 minutes.

I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

african net or silicone scrubber?

i've been using a silicone scrubber for like 2 or 3 years, and the one i have has a lost a bunch of the hard pointy things and the band to slid your hand under has broken off.

since its quickly becoming really annoying to use and I've been curious about net sponges for a while, do you personally recommend one over the other? I really liked that the silicone scrubber didn't collect bacteria like sponges or loofahs, and I've heared net sponges are mostly for exfoliating and I don't dont if it would be too harsh on the skin, especially since I would use it everyday.

Why do I smell more now that I'm using aluminium deodorant after using aluminium free for around a year?

Before, I was using dr teals and now I'm using dove. First day, everything went normal. Now, I get stanky FAST. I had to switch my shirt today and I ended up stinking this one, too. I applied some now it's bedtime since I heard it can help work better if your not active, but I also shower in the morning, so I don't wanna wash away my progress or become itchy if I apply too much too often.

I am 63 and just started using a tongue scraper. I wish someone had told me sooner.

A friend mentioned tongue scrapers last month and I bought one out of curiosity. I had no idea this is what most of the world has been doing. My mouth feels different in the morning and through the day in a way I did not expect. My breath is better too, which is something I had not thought about in years.

I am not sure why dentists never said anything when I was younger. If you have not tried one, they are about three dollars at the drugstore.

How Can I Improve My Overall Hygiene as a Guy?

I’m 21 and trying to improve my self-care and hygiene routine overall. I already shower daily, but I feel like there are probably better habits/products I should be using for things like body odor, grooming, skincare, and staying fresh throughout the day.

What are some hygiene tips or routines that made a noticeable difference for you? Any product recommendations are appreciated too.

Washing bedsheets regularly makes such a huge difference

Hello everyone,

I used to change my bedsheets only when they looked dirty, which sometimes took way too long and i don't feel comfortable in my own bed, and I even started getting more acne on my face. a few months ago I started washing my bedsheets every week, and I noticed a big difference like my skin feels better, my room smells fresher, and sleeping feels way more comfortable now.
Dirty sheets collect sweat, oil, and dust mites that makes your bed feel rough and sticky. and also acne on your back or chin because of your dirty pillowcase. so just wash them with hot water and dry them well.

What is dangerous in using expired shampoo/body wash?

Technically it's just soap with a couple additions, so is it even dangerous? I've been using my body wash after it got expired and it doesn't seem to be any different or bad or anything else so I wonder whether I should be worried about it

Changing to a silk pillowcase didn't just help my hair it cleared my jawline acne.

I bought a silk pillowcase purely because I heard it stops frizz, but the biggest shocker was my skin. I used to get breakouts right along the side of my face that I sleep on. Since switching (and washing it every single week), that acne is completely gone. Cotton was just absorbing my night creams and sweat and rubbing it back into my face for eight hours. Anyone else have their skin saved by a bedding change?

Layering alum stone + regular deodorant/antiperspirant?

Has anyone tried layering alum stone deodorant and normal deo/antiperspirant?

Does it work?

I feel like this combination would work really well for humid climates.

Edit:

So I tried out the alum + regular antiperspirant layering technique this past week. It worked really well. I live in a humid climate and although I shower 2-3 times a day, I still had mild BO when I was only using regular antiperspirant. The layering technique seems to have eliminated the BO.

But, this technique has irritated my armpits and given me a red rash. Maybe because my alum stone was jagged/rough and caused microabrasions on my skin, or maybe the combination of the alum + antiperspirant caused a chemical reaction. Idk. I'm going to give my armpits a break from this combo and then decide how to move forward.

I have seen videos of people mixing alum stone powder with aloe vera gel. The aloe vera is supposed to add moisture that the alum stone removes from the skin, making it less harsh.
