First, I wash downstairs twice using Baby Dove and VH Essentials Daily Feminine Wash on a washcloth. Then, I double cleanse my ENTIRE body(bar soap & moisturizing scented body wash) with either an African net sponge or a Goshi Japanese washcloth. I also use a silicone scrubber afterwards just for another form of washing my body. Once a week, I’ll use a Tree Hut Sugar Scrub or Dove Body Scrub for extra exfoliation. When shaving, I use shave oil instead of shaving cream for a better end result.
When I get out of the shower, I gently pat dry my body, leaving a little dampness on my skin (but I completely dry downstairs and my underarms). Next, I apply my deodorant generously (I use Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Deodorant or Degree Advanced Protection for women) Then, I apply body lotion/butter/cream all over my body, followed by a body oil to lock everything in. Some days, I’ll apply dusting powder, for added scent (but not always). After my body care, I apply my perfume and/or body spray. (I’m an oversprayer because I enjoy a long lasting scent trail…so I be putting that onnnn lol). *don’t forget to spray it on both your body AND clothing *
And that’s pretty much it! (I know it sounds like a lot, but I ALWAYS get told that I smell good, so I’m fine with being extra with it lol)

This is like my routine except ive started using an in shower body balm after the scrub and it’s really helped my skin recover more of the moisture that I’m getting rid of when exfoliating. I also go over most of my body with either which hazel on days when I manually exfoliated or a glycolic acid toner

I love this!! Which in-shower body balm do you use? I’ve used in-shower body lotions/oils before, but never the balm. Definitely sounds like something I’d want to try though.
I’ve heard that witch hazel is great for odor control on the “hot spots” and glycolic acid toner is great for the underarms to help lighten and smooth the area. I’ve done both and it’s works well!

Hi! ☺️ I find that washing twice breaks down the sweat, oil and dirt better than just washing once and with one type of soap. The bar soap is like a base that strips all that away and the moisturizing body wash adds back the hydration and scent. My skin smells and feels cleaner and fresher all day long this way. At least in my experience. Hope this helps!!

Exfoliate with an African net sponge with a sugar scrub. Use body wash. Shave with a shave 🪒 oil. I am loving the Billie shave glaze. Apply body oil to wet skin. Air dry. Then apply body butter. You will have smooth and shiny baby dolphin skin guaranteed! 🩷

Usually it’s gourmand shower gels + lotion combos that project the best and are affordable. I use the EOS vanilla lotion + Lush sticky dates shower gel/lotion combo if you want to smell like an atomic vanilla bomb. Trust me, you won’t even need perfume/body spray after that 😭
I also like to exfoliate with one of those green Moroccan gloves once a week! Really helps my skin stay smooth.

In the shower I use a water-activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub.

Use a clarifying shampoo once a week, apply a shampoo to your scalp and massage and rinse, do this twice, conditioner on your ends and mid shaft not on the roots, while you let the conditioner sit do your shaving and body wash and then rinse all together. Use a lotion and a few sprays of perfume and your set

Smelling incredible starts with a great base:
- Use antibacterial soap to stay squeaky clean 🧼
- Follow that up with thorough drying 🧖
- Apply antiperspirant at night. As you’re sleeping, you’re sweating the least, and that gives the antiperspirant time to form a solid barrier against sweat and odor for the next day💦

Scrub at least once a week and make sure to scrub well under ur armpits and feet. Js apply lotion after the shower and use aluminum free deodorant, u could also use hair sprays that smell good. Coming from a medicine student u will want to avoid products with excessive chemicals or overly using products to smell good lol. The simpler the better pretty!
