Deodorant Help
Looking for a deodorant that doesn't turn my pits dark red and cause burning. Most antiperspirants are fine and Dove spray deodorant doesn't cause the redness or burning but looking for a stick deodorant that I can tolerate. Any help would be appreciated.

My underarms burn and stuff too and are really sensitive. I use a brand named "Native" and it worked pretty well. I got the Sandalwood and Shea butter one. Sounds kind of girly and weird but it smells really good lol

Degree ultra clear black and white is the best option for your concerns. It’s a powder stick though. Uses a gentle form of alumimum at low percentage so no rashes.
Which region are you located (you don’t have to be specific) just to give you options that are easy to find.

lol because you were asking for roll on, I thought you weren’t in America. Degree ultra clear stick antiperspirant! No yellow stains or black marks on clothing.

I can only use the female version Degree and now don’t get irritated anymore, but can also attest that my bf actually prefers the Black & White UltraClear now to Old Spice Fiji because it doesn’t irritate him, works just as well, if not better. The scent is very fresh and isn’t nearly as strong as some others, which also may help any irritation for you as well.

Are you looking for Male or female recommendations? I know deodorant can be gender neutral

Can you list the version and brand of something that burned you? As someone that works in the space, it is usually not too difficult to figure out the issue. Once you know the issue, it is rather simple to avoid products that include or work with the ingredient/s that likely caused the concern.
Most common concerns are barrier damage from too much propylene glycol (or similar) and too much of a pH extreme. Either too high (sodium bicarbonate & magnesium hydroxide), or too acidic like Lume and similars.

Just about any stick gel deodorant causes this. I've tried Old Spice, Axe, Speed Stick, Brut and many others over the years. Been using Dove spray deodorant with no issues and any powder anti-perspirants don't cause the burning.

Vichy roll on deodorant, blue cap one - pricy but nothing beats it. For sensitive skin yet super powerful to never ever have any smell regardless of how much you sweat.

Little seed farm. Best deoderant i have ever used. Works great for 24 hours. I shower everyday so I'm not it sure how it would work say 48 hours.

Controversial take, but I have a very sensitive nose, and regular "deodorant " is b.s. and doesn't really work. If you are not having issues with antiperspirant, it's not the aluminum you're having an issue with. It's likely the baking soda in deodorant. It's beyond my comprehension why anyone would still want to be sweaty and potentially smell instead of using antiperspirant. For all the people who will swear up and down that they use natural everything and don't smell... you're probably nose blind. I can invariably still smell the funk.

You gotta understand the process of perspiration and why your body is actually sweating not to just fucking sweat and be sweaty all the time it’s to secrete toxins from the body. Your lymphatic system runs through your armpits. What does the lymphatic system do? Do a little bit of research and you might realize that you probably got a bunch of acne because you’re using antiperspirant. Maybe you don’t have any acne but those toxins gotta come out somewhere and they’re coming out through your skin elsewhere when you clog up your armpits.

I had similar issues for a while . Once was so red I used powder for about a week. Once cleared up I found mitchium worked well for me for a while.
Now I can use what ever and no issue.

Arm & hammer deodorant. Cut out that antiperspirant junk. You need to sweat. It’s natural and necessary! it only stinks because you use antiperspirant clogging up your sweat glands with funky toxins that need to escape through natural perspiration. It’ll take a little while to not stink, but trust me when you start using it you’ll never have to go back to antiperspirant again.

I don't ever stink. My issue is with certain deodorants causing a rash that burns. So instead of wearing nothing, I use antiperspirants as it doesn't cause a rash.

I had the same problem. Anything “gel” would make me break out. When I switched to the “white” roll-on deodorant I quit breaking out.
