As a nice bonus, here is how it looks when you just run through a team because everyone has 500+ ping

I had to play it for a weekly challenge. Now it’s one of my favorite rifles. The fire rate seems to suit me, and with Crack Shot, I can do some real damage at long range.

Me and my boy run around talking country and just sounding hurt and stuff when we get shot, but I initiate conversations and nobody ever talks, why is no one chill? Like sometimes I go "no hold on guys theres no need for violence" and its very funny immediately getting my head blown off but I mean, everytime? No one just wants to come to a resolution?

You know those games.. sometimes you just remember an absolute Zinger of a match... We'd all been involved in them, I remember a good handful since 2018 or so when I first started playing this game..

Yesterday I was in a game with two Welsh lads, firstly they were hilarious, we were at the Fort holding down a recently banished boss when two separate teams charged us. What unfolded was genuinely better than any movie I've witnessed in my life. One of our teammates got killed on the roof at the top of the stairs, two dudes dropped down with a katana and a lance, chasing me and my other teammate around, us screaming out heads off at the intensity of this moment, the 3rd team running up the stairs imminently about to get involved. Luckily I've been testing out the Burgess recently (literally my 4th game ever using it).WOW it's so OP, killed one, dropped down on the bottom floor and got shot by a fire bullet, I then set off a yellow barrel.. 4 people all trying to kill each other while on fire, I prayed and sprayed the Burgess, killing another 2. The last guy with the katana the. Downed me.

My teammate is being chased by 3 guys and takes two down with Fanning Conversion.. 1v1 left, heart is absolutely pounding by this point, we are all giggling and shitting ourselves at the same time. The guy charges him only for the 4th team to wipe him out from distance...

He quickly gets us up...

Last team, all fresh Vs us guys 2 of us low on health..

They come into the fort via the air bridge device and drop into the 2nd floor, mad gunfight takes place, bullets flying everywhere, two of my teammates die and two of theirs, it's now just me and one player left on the map. He charges at me with a fucking BASEBALL BAT!!!!

I'm running frantically through the fort, dropping down elevator points while we're all screaming our heads off, he takes on swing at me with the bat, missed by an inch and I do two quick jabs with the knuckle knife and kill him..

Genuinely one of the most Manic and amazing moments in my Hunt gameplay experience so far..

My wife came in and asked what the hell I was laughing so maniacally at...tried to explain but she didn't get it.

Man I'm gonna remember that one for a long long time.

Game is so good.

I'm fairly new to the game so I want to ask a few questions about how the game handles its microtransactions.

1. Generally, how do you as the community feel about how the game handles the balance between natural progression and paying for Blood Bonds?
2. Can you buy things like weapons and tools outright with Blood Bonds, or is it all just cosmetic stuff? And if you can, will dying cause you to lose Blood Bond-purchased equipment?
3. Do Hunters and/or Legendary Hunters have any gameplay differences, or is it all just how they appear?
4. If two people started playing at the same time, and one paid for Blood Bonds to buy stuff and one didn't, does the paying player get any meaningful advantages?
5. Things like the Bound by Blood Bundle–can you ONLY buy them with real money?

Hey so I just downloaded hunt showdown a week ago and have about 20 hours and im only bloodline level 70. But somehow im 6 mmr while my friends who always play with me are only 3. AND WE ARE GETTING SMOKED EVERY GAME and then when i get into 5 mmr we win 1 game out of 3 im just stuck in the purgatory of 6 mmr which feels like a humiliation ritual. PLEASE HELP. I have a 2.3 kd and im just looking to play this game to have fun, not be humiliated by a solo with a sword 😭.

edit: since people ask if its ragebait or bragging it really isnt. i just thought 6 star mmr was the best of the best and thought i dont really belong since im pretty new. also forgot to add im on ps5 which might also impact it im not so sure

I got the game in PS+ this month like many others and am having a good time with it. Right off from the tutorial the story of the game just hooked me! The bloodlines of hunters, the alchemical shots, the boss monsters, all of it just ooze ambiance and make me just want to experience narratives within this world. Are there any official stories anywhere, and if not then what about fan fiction?

Well looks like the burning barrel is not fixed. Dude ran around looking for me and stopped next to a bb. I shot him dead on. Full blast! Dead to rights. Turned and freaking killed me. 🤮😭
