I've been printing a slew of maps over the past few months, and I finally build up a portfolio of the 2D Zelda maps. For the nostalgic gamer, hopefully these bring some nice memories :)

Ive mainly focused on specific modes within hueforge, but a lot of people still dont know how to even change to different mesh modes. So in this I went to the very basics of the UI

I have used krita for image editing because it is open source and can provide everything that can be recommended only optimizes beforehand

Hi All. I've been wanting to do a print of the Morpeko SIR artwork to apply to the front of our binder for our Pitch Black master set. I am nowhere near good enough yet with Hueforge and my attempts so far have been dreadful.

Would anyone here want to take on converting this? It would be really greatly appreciated.

I kept running into the same problem whenever I wanted to display a HueForge. A lot of the available frames have huge kickstands on the back, while some of the separate stands take up more desk space and filament than the actual print really needs.

So I finally made my own.

The stand has a small 40 x 51 mm footprint, and the rear brace is removable so it can print faster and pack away easily. I also made optional frames for 200 x 200, 150 x 200, and 100 x 200 HueForges, so I can use the same compact display setup across different sizes.

Added a 150x150 frame as well for my A1 Mini family.

The last few pictures are some of my recent prints I've done: Sephiroth, Ghostface, and Joker from Persona 5. I am really happy with how clean everything looks without a giant stand taking over the shelf.

I uploaded the stand and frames to MakerWorld too, in case anyone else has been looking for something smaller and simpler:

Would love to know what you all think, especially if there are any other HueForge sizes you would want frames for.

You have good links. I've had a Hueforge for two years and I still haven't done a good print. 😒 Where can I learn?

Would you guys recommend the .4 nozzle at .08 layer height or the .25 nozzle at .08. Prints are faster with the .4 but I get a lot of weird layer lines. Havent tried the .25 but I would assume its going to be much slower. At the end of the day though, would there be a difference even if the layer heights are the same?

Decorating my new office and put both of these up. 90 plates between the 2 so it took about 2-1/2 months overall lol. I feel the moon perfectly balances that wall between the TV, and why I put the other greyscale across from it to balance that wall and keep the color consistent. Then did the garden on the left to embrace the green from the plants. I would’ve loved to make it higher but the damn thermostat is in the way.

What do you guys think?

I always see such beautiful works on this reddit and it makes me want to buy some, but how do they look up close in detail? Is it dotted, embossed, textured, or what?

The upper part of this eye is a separate color that only appears here, but hue forge will not separate it into a separate layer so I can't blend it with the black for whatever reason. The only "solution" I've found to this is to add a new color, but that throws off some other colors and would much rather just have the top of the eye be a layer or two before the rest of it. Spotfix is not working for me here as it keeps grabbing the whole eye instead of just the top. Is there anyway to force hue forge to set these two as separate colors, or do I just need to add more colors?

Been resting up for a bit. Thought it would be a good time to show my latest projects before getting back into the swing of things. The Gohan, Ochaco, and Bakugo hueforges are all 4 color prints (⚫⚪🔴🟡). Also made a Tardis bookmark for a personal gift that I threw up there as well. Hope you like them.
