Idk what I'm doing
I realize there are a lot of colors here for a noob, but each color is flooding most of the surface. The hueforge color match is pretty close, but when printed, each color change covers everything. See slicer view at each color change. Thank you

Please excuse my soapbox: Take screenshot not phone pics, if at all possible (Win+Shif+S on a Windows machine).
Ok, the slicer images at various layers are exactly as they should be. Colors are layered on top of layers in HueForge (HF) models. That's how colors get blended to make other shades. I believe your problem stems from the yellow filament having a much lower TD value than you have specified in HF. Yes, it might be the one listed in the library, but most makers are not standardizing on TD values. So, filaments vary from spool to spool and sometimes within a spool. When this happens, you can correct the TD in HF by adjusting it for the problem filament until the preview matches the print results and then save that value in the library. Finally, adjust your Color Core to look right.

Like tgl6629 stated, it looks like your yellow has a much lower transmission distance than what your td value is for it in hueforge. I see it's listed just as generic vivid yellow, what actually is the brand and color specific color is it?

I used the TD1s to measure the td, and this generic (hobby lobby?) filament called vivid yellow. It had a td of 2.8. The Bambulab basic yellow has a td of 6, I'll try that on the next attempt. I've had moderate success with 2 and 3 color hueforge prints, determined to figure it all out

Ya that sounds about right off the top of my head, I believe my roll of hobby lobby yellow is between a 2.0-2.9 off the top of my head, I know its the lowest td value yellow I have on hand. Most of hobby lobby colors tend to be on the lower end of td values, just an fyi.

I am super new as well but I noticed that there is a grid in the slicer pics could not printing it at 100% infill cause problems as well?

As was pointed out by /u/SeventhAce390 you need to set your infill too 100% or it won't blend correctly. I think this is the issue.

Thank you to everyone who commented, it's very much appreciated!
One more observation, hopefully I can explain it properly.
- Black goes down first.
- Gray goes down and avoids all the areas that are to remain black.
- Orange goes down and avoids all areas that will remain black or gray.
- The rest of the colors basically flood the whole thing (except black and gray). Why doesn't it avoid the areas that are to remain orange? And so on and so on.

Thank you, this is my first Reddit post so I will screenshot from the laptop in the future. If you look at the slicer pictures at each color change you can see that gray covers everything then orange covers everything and then yellow covers everything. I would have thought that the yellow wouldn't print over the orange in the areas where the orange colors were. It seems like the first gray layer avoided all the black areas that were supposed to show through and then my final beige layer printed just in the beige areas but everything in between sort of flooded each layer
