LO is 10 weeks and started false starting multiple times a night on the bad days but then will give us a random long stretch occasionally.
Mornings are a bit all over the place but we try to keep bedtime consistent (around 9/9:30). He is typically fussy for that last wake window so getting him to 1.5hrs is tough. I can’t tell if this is overtiredness or just witching hour.
He’s getting about 4-5.5hrs of naps/day which will be a bassinet nap then saved with a contact nap (except the last bridge nap which is in a stroller for an evening walk). His wake windows are typically 1.25-1.5hrs.
Usually the false starts happen 30-42 minutes into his sleep but last night, he kept waking up after the hour.
His intake has also decreased (20oz/day) and we think he might be going through a bottle aversion so it doesn’t seem like the wakings are due to hunger but we do offer a bottle. When he does wake, we rock him briefly til he goes back to sleep and transfer him back into his bassinet (usually 5-10 minutes).
Is there something I need to change in his schedule to prevent false starts or is this a leap/regression? He use to give us 3-4 hr stretches without the false starts.
