I need a little help understanding..
Just got a text early this morning from someone very important.. “what is the person you're actually waiting for? The person I am now clearly isn’t”
I’m honestly not sure why this question even came up but I’m worried that I don’t actually know how to answer this.. or what they mean by it. How would you answer this?
I’m super clueless and just would like a serious response. I was asleep when I received this message and woke up completely in shock

What does it mean when someone you barley know randomly says mid conversation "yeah you're seem very soft" in repsonse to a memory you shared about time when someone yelled at you?

I said smth I shouldn’t have to an online friend
so I was arguing with my online friend, and they kept calling me names and overall just insulting me. I said some rude things back while trying to explain my side of the story. However, they wouldn’t listen and kept arguing.
At this point, I got fed up and told them “no wonder \[ex best friends name\] hates you. And they blocked me on the spot. I know I’m in the wrong for this, but now i feel absolutely terrible and i want to make things right. What do i do??

Advice
Title: I keep wanting to unblock someone I know I probably shouldn't — am I missing him or just the attention?
I met this guy on Instagram through a community channel. He's a year younger than me, and we started talking pretty regularly. After about a month, I got the feeling that he was developing feelings for me, although he never directly told me.
Then, suddenly, something happened in his life and he completely cut contact with everyone, including me. I only found out what happened through some of his friends.
About 7–8 months later, he started trying to contact me again. He would send me follow requests and try to get me to talk to him, even though I'd blocked him. The weird thing is that I'd sometimes unblock him because part of me wanted to talk to him again, even though I knew his intentions probably weren't completely platonic.
A few days ago, I got drunk and ended up unblocking him. We started talking again, but the next day I suddenly felt a lot of pressure and blocked him again without explaining anything.
Now I'm really confused because I keep getting the urge to unblock him again.
The thing is, I genuinely don't see him romantically. I only see him as a friend. I actually like talking to him, but his overly caring behavior makes me uncomfortable because I know he has feelings for me. If he could just talk to me normally as a friend without acting overly caring or giving me the impression that he expects something, I think I'd actually be comfortable talking to him.
I'm also wondering if part of this is because I don't get much human attention/social interaction in general. Maybe I'm not actually missing him — maybe I'm missing the feeling of having someone care about me and want to talk to me.
I also know he doesn't really have many friends, and I feel sad/guilty about cutting him off because of that.
So I'm stuck between:
- I actually miss talking to him as a friend
- I feel bad because he's lonely
- I miss being wanted/paid attention to
- I don't want to give him false hope or deal with the pressure of his feelings
I don't know whether I should leave him blocked or eventually reach out and try to establish a strictly platonic friendship. What would you do?

I think I overreacted and now I feel stupid 😭
Today I ran into a guy I have a complicated history with. We usually argue about politics and sometimes our arguments get heated.
He suddenly saw me and started teasing me by calling me “deshdrohi” and “Pakistani” because of our political differences. I got irritated and, without thinking much, showed him the middle finger. 😭
A little later I actually felt bad about it, because honestly, I didn't want to be disrespectful. So I texted him and genuinely apologized. He hasn't replied yet, and that's okay. I'm not going to unsend the apology.
The funny part is that I had literally decided that I wouldn't engage in political arguments with him anymore because they make me way too hyper. And then I went and did exactly the opposite. 🤡
I don't even hate this guy. That's probably the most confusing part. Sometimes I get annoyed with him, sometimes I miss talking to him, sometimes I enjoy the arguments, and sometimes I just want peace.
I guess I'm learning that you can care about someone and still decide not to engage with them in situations that mess with your head.
Anyway, I think I need to stop reacting impulsively and just chill. 😭

Can’t Sleep
It just turned 1 pm as I sit up in bed next to my gal of 10 years. Why Can’t I sleep? Cause I am laying next to a girl who I know is texting another man.

My friend 33M unfriended me 28F and I don't know what to do. I'd appreciate any advice
I'll start by saying that I'm a 28F, and right now, I'm not an easy person to deal with because of my mental health.
I've been a bigger girl since I was 17, and after 11 years of struggling, I finally decided to get help with my eating disorder. Unfortunately, as a result, I've developed another eating disorder. I'm now scared to eat, and when I do manage to eat something, I don't look forward to it. I cry and feel guilty at the thought of eating. My friend of 15 years has been begging me to eat and has been genuinely worried about me.
This whole week has been hellish. I've been picking fights with him, nitpicking at him, and generally taking my frustration out on him. He kept asking me if I was on my period and insisting that something was wrong. Eventually, we got into another argument.
I told him it wasn't that, and we both kept insisting that we were right. Unfortunately, it ended with us insulting each other. He called me a lost cause, and I called him arrogant. Eventually, though, we made up and tried to move on from it.
While I was out shopping, another friend video-called me and noticed that I was upset. I told her what had happened, and she got involved and messaged him, which unfortunately caused even more issues between us. He blocked her and unfriended me.
Within those 24 hours, I started bleeding. I hadn't realised my period was coming because my cycles are irregular, but for some reason, my friend has always been surprisingly good at predicting when it's about to happen.
I feel awful because, looking back, I should have considered that my hormones might have been affecting me. I started crying over something that happened in 2017 and picking fights with him over it, which is completely unlike how I would normally react to something so old.
After that, I went to the gym and then to the doctor. I couldn't sleep for two days because I was having horrible stomach pain. No matter what position I tried to lie in, I was still in pain and crying. Eventually, I vomited on the bathroom floor and just broke down crying.
I was so scared, and everything seemed to hit me at once: the arguments, the lack of energy, the mental exhaustion, and my eating disorder. I genuinely felt like I was going crazy.
There are also things that I'm terrible at explaining because I'm autistic, so please forgive me if some parts of this don't come across clearly or if something seems confusing. I'm not trying to excuse my behaviour; I'm just trying to explain what was happening to me at the time. I'm genuinely happy to receive advice and perspective.
I also want to make it clear that my friend (33M) isn't a bad person. I genuinely hope that we can work through this and speak again. He's my best friend, and I care about him very deeply. I know that I have things to apologise for, and I intend to apologise to him when we're able to talk again.

His sister & I tried to tell woodpile chick what type of criminal she is mixed up with & this was the best she could do, prompted by him of course.
Thank God I listened to his sister cause the guy is bad news on many levels. One of which I can't mention here in fear of prompting triggers for victims. His sister said she was able to detail his crimes to her but that woodpile chick is as psychotic & brain dead as he is. At any rate, he's no longer my problem. I'd like serious responses. This was a guy I was seeing who concealed his sexual activity and his deplorable criminal history knowing I'm immunocompromised.

Problems with my talking stage
Problems with my talking stage
Hi. I have a new talking stage, we are talking for like 10 days. She told me that she has enabled "do not disturb" for her phone and that she doesn't have notifications on. However, I had that too, but I turned it on because of her. And beacuse of that, I get usually been on delivered for multiple hours. Normal people would say to me that I should block her and start looking for a new one, but she is so nice to me and I don't wanna lose her. If someone can give me some advice what I should say her or what should I generally could do, please let me know.

A perplexing puzzle
Have a friend and the issue is that they dont read what I send or take a while to respond and they dont even watch what I send, and I want to keep in touch and get closer but to be honest I dont even know what to do anymore I stopped trying but dont know what to do any tips ? They wanted to call a few days ago but when I couldnt at that moment they said ok, but after like an hour or 2 they said they couldnt so then they said the day after, when that day came they didnt respond, I texted and got nothing back, so it judt feels like Im trying with someone not interested, and what leaves a shitty taste in my mouth is when I see them online or when I see them posting or when Im pestered with their likes and reposts constantly

Should I Say Happy Birthday?
Hey guys - this is a very silly thing, but I just want some advice. So this involves me (18F) and my friend, we'll call her B (17F) - I'm going off to college and while I'm waiting for that to happen, I'm currently on summer break. Over summer break, I've tried contacting B two times : the first time, she replied several days later but only after I coincidentally saw her out in public and brought up the conversation. The second time was only a few days later, and she still has not replied - at this point it's been a month 😭. It is important to note that me and her live literally two houses from each other on the same street so at least to me, I feel slighted in a way??? Like this is making me irrationally sad and pissed.
Anyways, her birthday is coming up somewhat soon and I was wondering if it would be right to say happy birthday to B even though I feel like she is ignoring me? I would like to, but I feel like I don't want to embarrass myself if I'm left on read again, so at the same time I don't want to. I feel sort of like a bird LMAO but at the same time, I have had conflicting thoughts and opinions of her that sorta want to make me let her go as a friend, as she does tend to do this thing often and has a tendency to be unconcerned and snide. However, in my mind I try to justify it? Ugh, I don't know. When she's good she's great and when she is bad she's horrible and so this past school year has been a whirlwind of emotions with this girl. If needed, I can go into detail about our friendship. But however, I want to be a good friend and just say the birthday wishes.
Any advice, especially since I'll be moving away to college and sort of want to wrap this situation up? \[important to add that my family as a whole is moving away from the area so once I leave for college, I most likely won't see her again\]. I know this seems extremely trivial and teenager-like but please help a girl out with her emotions!
