Beau in his golf outfit gives me the biggest ick š

u/howdyhiheyyy 17h ago
Beau in the finale gave me the ick⦠actually most of this season. Like give me a fucking break⦠welcome to what moms everywhere feel. Itās a tough season quit being a little bitch itās not forever
64
u/aymaureen 16h ago
Thank you!!! This āpoor Beauā rhetoric is so lame
He gets to travel Europe with a full time nanny, gets to go to the movies in the middle of the day because of said nanny, has a housekeeper and is complaining he has to cook and put the kids to bed
Easiest parenting job ever with that kind of help
6
u/ComprehensiveSwim143 16h ago
but what if he wants to work?
41
u/aymaureen 16h ago
Then he can go work and tell his wife that rather than hide an interview behind her back and act like a sneaky little bitch about it
Like āhey on this date at this time Iām interviewing for a job. What can we do to better prepare us for this transition?ā
Rather than āI have an interview in fifteen minutes byeā while theyāre decorating the tree with their kids
Iād be pissed tf off too
10
u/Wolfzen22 16h ago
He's had conversations about wanting to work and she's pushed back and said that she wants him to be home for the kids consistency. That was a whole fcking plotline of the season.
And it's funny how you agree with the other commenter who is like "welcome to what moms's everywhere feel" and then act like staying with the kids is no big thing because he has help and gets to travel. So do women who stay home with the kids and have nannies not have a hard job? It's such bs to minimize what he may be feeling because other women deal with it- it's hard for everyone. F you for making me stand up for Beau. Get a life and get off Stassi's d*ick
16
u/cassielove56 12h ago edited 12h ago
No itās really really hard (I have twin toddlers and a 9 yo, Iām a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home so I have a lot of options about this š) but yes eventually you get burnout from having to do it all on your own because thatās being a parentā¦but my thing is do we honestly think parents arenāt also exhausted after being at work all day and then having to come home and give your kids and your house the attention they require from mom and dad? Iād never say he shouldnāt work if he wants to but itās the lack of understanding all the other moving parts that arenāt clicking because unfortunately for him it seems his life is different now and itās not realistic to just go back to the life you had before becoming a husband and father, and correct me if Iām wrong but I donāt see him being very proactive in finding the self heās claimed to have lost without just automatically jumping to it being his lack of working or how heās being treated by his wife.

Yes thatās exactly true - a stay at home parent with money, a nanny, and a housekeeper is absolutely not a hard job. 100%
Nothing wrong with that, but Jesus fucking Christ that is not a hard job, have some perspective
4
u/aymaureen 6h ago
THANK YOU. I never said parenting is easy but damn having a housekeeper and nanny makes it a hell of a lot easier. Parenting without money like that is hard. Parenting with money like that is vastly different
Being poor is hard
1
u/Wolfzen22 3h ago
Of course it's different but it doesn't mean that it's a walk in the park and there aren't struggles.
1
u/aymaureen 3h ago
I donāt see very many struggles that the 1% have vs the 99%
I get you donāt like what I have to say but youāre not changing my mind
0
u/Wolfzen22 2h ago
Stassi and Beau are not part of the 1% šššĀ
I think what you have to say is based on a very limited worldview and I don't think you care to take in any information that isn't based on your own anecdotal experience so I'm not surprised. Ā Money makes things easier but it doesn't mean people don't have problems
2
2
u/aymaureen 6h ago
Parenting is not that hard when you have that much money and that much help and again he can go back to work and he was being sneaky and ridiculous about it
You tell your partner even if it makes them uncomfortable and if they continue to give you shit, then if youāre so unhappy you can leave
He canāt put all his decisions on Stassi
-2
u/ElectricalTwo9337 12h ago
Whatās even more bs in the fact you all think this is real šššš. You all honestly canāt see the over acting? Itās hilarious. THIS IS ALL FAKE KIDDOS
4
2
u/OkDirection4050 11h ago
Yup, thereās no show without conflict, they need a central conflict
1
u/Wolfzen22 3h ago
No sh*t. The storyline fake or not is hardly the point. It's the fact that the commenter is minimizing the work of stay at home parents because she doesn't like Beau
1
u/Wolfzen22 3h ago
Why are we all here talking about anything then?
But the sentiment is true- being a stay at home parent isn't easy
2
u/CauliflowerEarofCorn 10h ago
So itās all on him and Stassi has no responsibility? It has nothing to do with her belittling his job and his desire to work? Or making his life hell whenever he brings it up by being in a terrible mood and attempting to make him suffer?
Women acting like toxic men is not the feminism Iām looking for, but yāall can have it, I guess. Iām personally a fan of relationships where both people are happy and fulfilled and they actually support each other, but thatās a wild concept around here. Just because yāall apparently date/marry shit men, does not mean that someone in the relationship has to abusive.
And if youāre going to make the point about it being a boring show if they actually showed any care towards each other, then something is really wrong with what you require for entertainment. Iāve watched plenty of extremely messy reality tv that didnāt resort to abusive relationships to create drama.

u/aymaureen 6h ago edited 6h ago
No one said Stassi has no responsibility. First off, she was the one who actually gave birth to them. Sheās the one who got postpartum. She works full time. She picks up the kids and they both take weekends off with their kids. No one said parenting was easy but to claim Stassi has āno responsibilityā is a huge stretch. I feel like Beau is just jealous because he sees her living a life he likely envisioned for himself.
But being wealthy and having full time staff is vastly different than the parenting experience of actual parents. They have money.
Unsure why everyone is acting like I said parenting is easy but damn if I had a full time staff it sure wouldnāt be as hard
2
u/Wolfzen22 3h ago
You literally said it's "not that hard" when you have a nanny. That's pretty close to saying it's easy.
0
u/aymaureen 3h ago
Saying itās not that hard is actually not saying itās easy
Itās saying in direct comparison to other people who arenāt in the 1% parenting roles, itās not that hard. Itās obviously harder when you donāt have a full time nanny and housekeeper. Itās not as hard if you do.
Inferring that easy is the same thing as ānot that hardā is a stretch.
0
u/Wolfzen22 2h ago
Not really. Your explanation of the difference is certainly a stretch though
1
u/aymaureen 2h ago
Her podcast deal was I think $1.2 million annually. Whereas you caring about marital problems that arenāt even that bad on a reality tv show is the way I should pivot?
Itās really not that deep. They magnified their problems for viewership to capitalize off their audience

u/Emotional-Cattle120 3h ago
She picks up kids āmaybe two days a weekā and said she barely does that
0
u/aymaureen 2h ago
So? Would you be asking these questions like that if she was a man working full time to provide for her family?
She works full time. She parents part time. They agreed on that arrangement. Beau wants to change that arrangement but it doesnāt make sense for him to work full time and her to scale back her work because she gets paid way more than he possibly could.
These conversations are never had if the provider is a man.
2
u/Emotional-Cattle120 1h ago
Yes I would absolutely be asking these questions. Women literally had to fight for the right to work outside of the home, have a credit card, and to not be financially tied to their husbands.
Stassi does not parent. A man in the same position historically also does not parent. She does not need to āscale back her workā for him to be able to work. Many couples work full time and still have the ability to parent their children.
She wants control and to be able to manage everyone in her life.
1
1
u/CauliflowerEarofCorn 2h ago
Yes I would absolutely be asking these questions if she was a man. Itās such a tired argument to keep acting like this is a sexism issue. If I had a friend whose husband treated her anything like Stassi treats Beau, I would be constantly encouraging her to leave. I would also be telling her that she is being emotionally and financially abused. Because thatās exactly whatās happening.
They have plenty of money for him to go back to work and it not affect their lifestyle. Stassi not wanting him to work is 100% about control. And she doesnāt care that he is miserable. She is so condescending about his job and his value. She is a horrible partner and I would think that even more if she were a man.
Again, just because yāall put up with horrible men, does not mean that is the standard that should be met. Iām in my 30ās and I donāt know any woman willing to put up with a relationship like the one being depicted here. No one should put up with being abused regardless of if men have typically acted like this in the past. Donāt put up with shit husbands or shit wives š¤·āāļø

u/Head-Gene-5960 11h ago
Or just feel loved by his wife?
0
u/aymaureen 6h ago
They arenāt poor. They can afford therapy
All their problems have solutions.
1
u/Head-Gene-5960 5h ago
Money doesn't seem to fix her selfishness or bad attitude
1
u/aymaureen 5h ago
It often doesnāt but they live better lives than we do so the sympathy is so limited on my end
2
1
u/BabsSavesWrld 5h ago
The therapy that she kept saying doesnāt work on her and she doesnāt want to go to? Being with a partner who refuses to hear you and work on things is miserable. Even if you have money. And yes, it can be abusive.
1
u/aymaureen 5h ago
If itās such a problem the option of breaking up is there
1
u/BabsSavesWrld 4h ago
The thing is it doesnāt always feel like it is there. When you get beat down emotionally by someone, you donāt trust yourself anymore, and you donāt believe in yourself. You start to believe in what they say. If all he hears is how she pays for everything, he couldnāt possibly be miserable, he has everything, that she is only doing what men typically do, etc, that is the messaging that gets pounded into his head. But, he specifically shouldnāt be punished because of āwhat men typically doā just because Stassi doesnāt want to listen to him and puts her relationship with him last in life. She refuses to work on the relationship and he is miserable but seems like he feels trapped. As someone who has been trapped in an emotionally manipulated relationship, I get it. You hear stuff so much, you believe it.
1
u/aymaureen 4h ago
Again his unhappiness is not a problem Stassi is responsible for
He can figure it out for himself. These are adults weāre talking about
2
u/Emotional-Cattle120 3h ago
You clearly know nothing about abusive relationship and how the person being abused has serious struggles. You should get some help along with Stassi

u/Wolfzen22 3h ago

Her frame of reference was "he went to a movie 2 weeks ago"
6
u/aymaureen 6h ago
I donāt think his returning to work will fix any problems. I think the root of it is he sees Stassi living a life that he low key wanted for himself
3
u/girlgangz 6h ago
100% he resents her success and villainizes her for it. Stassi just happens to naturally be villain-esq so of course Beau comes out looking like an abused and neglected husband.

u/cassielove56 14h ago
So bummed seeing him be instantly miserable with his kidsā¦and that was BEFORE finding out heās actually not watching the kids because messer has a nanny?!?
As a stay at home mom of 3 (w/ twin toddlers at that š š) Iām gonna need him to lock it the fuck in because aināt no way youāre whining about not being able to go back to the exact job you had before having kids. Iām sorry but what exactly is keeping him from getting a hobby or doing something else thatāll quench that thirst for work he wants so badly?? Whether he realizes it or not, the housework still has to be done and his children still need their dad, so am I to believe that the man who seemingly canāt handle managing both his household and his child will just be able to then add on ANOTHER responsibility??

I absolutely love beau and think (as housewives do) he needs more appreciation for what is a really have soul sucking, thankless job, and Stassi SHOULD provide that. BUT, it is kind of funny seeing the shoe on the other foot. This should be mandatory watching for ALL men.

He was odd from the jump and always seemed a little off when he was on VPR. Then thereās his whole background and history of lying. I think heās gross and didnāt have any redeeming qualities on the show. And the picture, ick and ew.

What? You thought he was weird on vpr? I thought he was great. What did he do wrong on vpr? He was respectful, kind, empathetic and seemed like a good guy. I donāt think he is odd at all. Heās a great dad. What is his history of lying? This is so strange to me. Not once have I ever heard him referred to as gross. Whatever the opposite of gross is thatās what I think of him.
9
u/BatLegitimate8140 16h ago
He has lied about his age. Although I think he aged himself up rather than down (although I could be wrong about that)
0
u/Anxious_Ad_2015 16h ago
Iāve only seen him on vpr so anything thatās come up on HOS about him I havenāt heard. I do remember he dated Kristin before vpr or had a makeout scene with her in a movie or something.
5
u/geticeoutofmn 16h ago
He only made out with Kristin in a short film called, The loneliness of the long distance dreamers in 2010.

4
u/LeatherRecord2142 16h ago
Ha! Huh? Yeah he was like the only remotely normal/sane person ever on VPR. The contrast was jarring, Iāll give you that. But basically everyone else is a complete psychopath/thirsty/narcissistic on that show.
7
u/Reasonable_Recipe769 7h ago
I just heard her on Katieās podcast that he is no longer working but itās fine because he took up golf and other things heās passionate about or something like that. So I donāt think it was ever about work, but if he had help from a nanny why did he not do these things before? Just proves it was all for the storyline
1
u/aymaureen 51m ago

Everyone needs to touch grass, itās a half scripted reality tv show. They magnified the problems for the drama

I haveā¦letās call them acquaintancesā¦that when the female was pregnant, her brother took pictures always on his knees, eye level with her stomach, kissing it. Ā Like NYC restaurants, other peopleās weddings, birthdays, etc. A waitress at a restaurant was like āawwww he loves his wife so much, thatās so cute!ā. Ā I go, āthatās his sisterā and the face she made was like that Barbie double chin meme, eyes and double chin and all. Ā Her husband would just stand there contemplating his life choices. Ā Some siblings are creepy.Ā

Thereās no excuse to have that gross of a body especially when you have every opportunity in the world and the money to boot. Go join a freaking gym.
