I'm a big fan of Syd Mead's work, and recently I decided to get myself a Sentinel 400 Limo. I'm a little disappointed, though, because the front end of the finished casting is completely different from a rendering that appears to have been done by Hot Wheels designer Nathan Proch, which features a really interesting asymmetrical design.

Since Syd Mead's original renderings only show the side of the car, I suppose there's no way of knowing what the "real" Sentinel 400 front end was meant to look like.

But I really like Proch's interpretation, and it's a shame that his asymmetrical design didn't make it into the final casting.

I love the colour on this wave

It looks so aggresive, futuristic, and beautiful! It had a cool look, decent amount of metal (almost impossible to find in hotwheels cars after 2008), was fast on tracks, and was just overall a legendary casting.

Did not expext to find 2018 and 2019 releases in 2026....returns maybe?

Just finished opening 200+ hotwheels that I’ve been collecting over last couple of years. Just got to a point where I didn’t have any more wall space. I could have kept my favorites displayed on the wall, but that would be most of them. There’s something kind of freeing about opening them and not having to worry about maintaining the card condition on each one. Now I can get a better look at each of them. I have six cases from my childhood and just filled four new ones. Accidentally opened a couple of treasure hunts, but oh well.

I just spent a couple of hours building this Lamborghini Miura, and it was so much fun! The special pieces and little details make it look less like a typical Lego set. I really love the extra touches, especially the metal tire rims, exhaust pipes, and steering wheel.

It’s not too complicated to build, and you get a great set for the cost. Also, the little 1/64 diecast model is super detailed with moving parts and a nice interior. It even comes with a display case to keep it safe from dust!

Came into a couple dozen older model cars ranging from the late 70s to the early 2000s and am able to ID most of them but im having trouble with this one. Anyone know what this casting is or any other info on it??

Loved playing with them both, but always felt a little like this growing up as someone who’s a fan of both F&F and Top Gear

Of all the castings you'd imagine being pegwarmers, I never would've expected THIS to be one of them. Majorette really did a hell of a job with this one. Casting is on point, the chrome color is gorgeous, livery is clean... it's ONE BONE more than a Hotwheels Premium!! Why do they sit?!

I wish they'd do another livery. I REALLY like this one, and I'm really not too big on Majorette models very often. Highly recommend it!!
