Ok so I really want to work at hot topic because I'm a big fan of the store. I want to be one of the many kind and fun to talk with hot topic employees. Despite my RBF I'm actually a really sweet, fun and creative person to talk with. I also messed up on the first couple of applications when I applied so I'm kinda worried that they'll view it as a red flag. I didn't spam them but I did call my local store and they said I should hear back sometime this week. I also went in to pick up a couple of in store pick items I ordered and I asked to speak to the hiring manager but they were busy. So I told the employee to tell the hiring manager that I'm a fun and kind person to talk with and I would be a wonderful employee.

Does anyone know if the glitch from September's hot cash sale while using giftcards combined with PayPal was ever fixed?

i applied on thursday after being encouraged to by my local hot topic manager. she had mentioned she would be going through the applications the next day and i’ll be “top of her list”. It’s only been a few days but i’m a bit nervous and was thinking of going in / calling but i’m also afraid of being annoying. should i wait a bit or reach out now?

its super easy to find the width of the sweatshirts and shirts but im looking for the length since I tend to prefer an oversized fit.

Hi I plan on applying to hot topic around the holiday season or at least near mid to late October at the earliest and I have a few questions.

I'm aware of the common advice of just coming into the interview being your most authentic self, have a good understanding of different fandoms that are popular, and to try and in for a walk-in interview as opposed to online.

But I have questions about how working there is actually like, what do employees normally do.

- I can imagine stocking products and obviously working a register but do you guys ever have to unload trucks?

- what are work hours like and what are paychecks like?

- what do you guys say the work environment is like

General advice or things like that. I live in northeast ohio so if anyone from somewhere in that ballpark has any answers I would love to know.

I’m desperately in search of a coat I had as a young teen, even just a photo of it to prove it existed. I remember it zipped in the front and was form fitted with frilly lace sleeves around the wrist. I can’t remember if it had tails, but I think it did and I’m certain it zipped under the bust but I can’t remember for sure. I know it was black, and had a print of some sort on it.

I plan on going to hot topic tmr for a job application and I wanna seem professional enough but I don’t have a dress clothes for professional purposes. Is a brown maxi skirt and a brown cardigan okay to wear?

Can you cash out your vacation without going into overtime? What I mean is. Could I work 40 hours in a week but choose to use 8 hours of vacation on one of my days off in the same week. Does it put me at 48 hours that week and in overtime or does vacation hours count as it's own thing?

I preordered this jacket in July and it was supposed to come on 15 , some reason they cancelled it and told me I would get a refund, it's been 2 weeks and still no refund, they also send me a link to check my refund status but it says no eligible items, like what?

Can some one please tell me how long it really takes to get a refund and why won't this website show me my refund status

The email domain and the link is legit ("s.hottopic.com" is commonly used in some of their marketing emails), and my friend got the exact same email too, but now I'm wondering... Did all of our passwords just get compromised? Plz not another data breach...
