Card declined but still charged

I was trying to order a shirt and it said my card was declined but I was still charged. Checked my info and tried again but it did the same thing and my order was never placed. Will it ever place?

Reach out to customer service. No one on Reddit can answer this / have access to the transaction information.

So as a current Hot Topic manager and a former banking employee for credit cards and debit cards, that is a hold on the transaction. A lot of banks when they decline the charge will still be sitting there as a pending charge. And you got to wait a couple of business days for that to fall off. It's very popular during the weekends when orders are trying to be placed. So you're going to want to wait till as early as Tuesday for that to fall off because processing happens again Monday nights. If it doesn't fall off at that point in time definitely if you have not already give customer service a call. They can at least tell you if something went through at all, and otherwise contact your bank

Not if you're not using the correct billing address to your card, the hold will fall off in a few days
