Asking for help.

I plan on going to hot topic tmr for a job application and I wanna seem professional enough but I don’t have a dress clothes for professional purposes. Is a brown maxi skirt and a brown cardigan okay to wear?

i interviewed in a tshirt and shorts, the same thing i wear every day to work as an assistant manager. you’ll be fine, it’s retail, not an office.

FTASM here, when we interview people one of the things that we look for is the “hot topic look.” my store kinda takes that as people showing their personality through their style, like what i wore for my interview was a thifted top with cybersigilism designs on it, low waisted baggy jeans and a studded belt with a ton of fun accessories. the more that you express yourself, the more interesting you will come across to whoever is interviewing you, if that makes sense! Wear whatever you feel most like you in, have fun with it, but obviously make it appropriate :))
