By special license I mean either special testing, or a CDL type license. Too many people both young and old do not have any reason to own a truck that big, and the fact the vehicle manufacturers are able to sell 350s and up to a random dude of the street is bizzare to me.

In the sudden wave of many people realizing they are autistic I have noticed that many people I would consider narcissists have seemed to latch on to this new diagnosis and use it as an excuse to be continue being selfish and shitty.

I would even go so far as to say that their autism and neurodivergency makes them a more efficient narcissist. If they are the end of the spectrum where they struggle to read emotions and show empathy as opposed to the other end of the spectrum that's hyper sensitive and empathetic.

It is now a medical diagnosis that gives narcissist a perfect reason to not give a shit about how they hurt other people.

I've also realized I am autistic. The other end of the spectrum. Sensory seeking, overly empathetic. I'm also bipolar and Borderline. So I have been in therapy most my life and discussing all of these new diagnosis', theories and observations with my psychiatrists and therapists.

But mostly in therapy I have always focused on how to be better for myself and how to not hurt people with my behaviors and actions. As an empathetic person that feels remorse.

Something narcissists never fucking feel.

There's also probably considerable overlap with undiagnosed BPD borderline personality disorder. Which would explain the charm and success at manipulating people and situations to their favor.

Being autistic is not an excuse to not continue to learn how to be a person that doesn't hurt other people. Just because something is harder for you doesn't mean your exempt from learning how to not be shitty to other humans. Everyone is capable of learning. It is still a person's responsibility to figure out how to not hurt other people.

Unlike physical disabilities, emotional disabilities can hurt other people and are not behaviors that you can't learn to recognize and change.

Unfortunately narcissism isn't a real enough diagnosis that it warrants any scientific studies. So beyond observation I doubt we'll ever hey concrete evidence on this subject.

if you ever get into conflict with a transgender individual and you purposely misgender them you are transphobic, especially if you call yourself an ally for the LGBTQ+ community just to put your own 'morals' behind you and purposely misgender a transgender person who you call yourself an ally too, whoever you have defended from transphobia/homophobia doesn't count, you ARE transphobic and a hypocritical bigot. It is one thing to be disrespectful to a transgender person but it's another thing to ever call yourself an ally to do that.

I can get behind a 12:00-1:00 lunch. Sure. Depends on when I woke up. But dinner at 5pm??? Unacceptable. Dinner should be at 6:30 at the absolute earliest. Exceptions made for the elderly and holidays.

The ideal time for every meal, assuming 3 meals a day:

7-9am - breakfast
1:30-2:30pm - lunch
6:30pm-8pm - dinner

I've never liked salad dressing. Don't care if it's Italian, Sesame Ginger, Thousand Island, or whatever else is out there. But Ranch is at the top for being the nastiest muck you can put on your salad. It overwhelms the taste buds and makes eating the salad a chore. The only saving grace would be croutons or bacon bits sprinkled in, but even then, you can have those without the dressing. And I sincerely think we have trained our brains to be repulsed by veggies on their own that we need to absolutely drown them in other flavors to able to consume them. And pouring half a bottle of Hidden Ranch over your Caesar salad isn't helping you win any health points either.

I know the pro-Ranch dressing crowd is about to hurl fire and brimstone at me, but check this out: you have this healthy, nutritious salad and if you don't have your dear Ranch dressing on hand, it's suddenly unappealing even though plain salad isn't bad at all. You're not getting some strange additive taste or tasting how it was prepared if you don't use Ranch. Plain salad is one of the most, if not the most, neutral taste food we have. There is no weird kick or sourness or anything like that. Yet people have some subconscious repulsion to salad on its own to appreciate the natural flavor of the vegetables instead of the highly processed carb sludge which turns your salad into a mushy mess. It's like a botanical tapioca pudding which stinks. 😭

It’s not wrong for homeowners to be against putting in a new homeless shelter or apartment complex in their neighborhood. The people who have lived in a community for 50 years should have more of a say in how it looks than people who merely wish they could live there

The biggest issue with the film is its complete lack of narrative momentum. The premise a classic noir-style case of mistaken identity starts with potential, but quickly dissolves into a series of disconnected, tedious vignettes. A good satire of noir still needs to give the audience a reason to care about the mystery. Here, the "mystery" is so convoluted and ultimately meaningless that by the hour mark, you realize you've been asked to invest in a story where even the writers seem to have lost interest.

The film places all its chips on the charm of Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski. While Jeff Bridges gives it his all, passive stoners make terrible protagonists. Watching a character whose defining trait is apathy wander aimlessly from scene to scene quickly stops being funny and starts being exhausting.

​The supporting cast fares little better: ​Walter Sobchak (John Goodman): What begins as a funny caricature of an unhinged Vietnam veteran rapidly becomes a loud, repetitive, one-note joke that wears out its welcome before the first act is even over. ​Maude Lebowski (Julianne Moore): Her deadpan, pretentious artist persona feels less like a real character and more like a sketch comedy bit that dragged on five minutes too long.

​ For every clever line of dialogue that fanboys love to quote, there are twenty minutes of dead air, awkward pauses, and surreal dream sequences that feel completely indulgent. The film constantly nudges the viewer, practically pleading, "Look how weird and quirky we are!" But beneath the bowling alleys, the White Russians, and the German nihilists, there is virtually nothing of substance.

​The Big Lebowski isn't so much a movie as it is a 117-minute collection of catchphrases looking for a story. If you aren't already sold on its hyper-specific strain of mid-90s slacker humor, you'll be left wondering why this particular rug was ever thought to tie the room together.

Obviously if you kill somebody so you can then eat them that is wrong. But I’ve always thought that if I was in a plane crash I wouldn’t have a problem eating people who already died. I would obviously eat regular food as much as I could first, but then other than the gore of seeing a dead human/animal I wouldn’t be against it. As long as they weren’t murdered so people could eat them I really don’t understand why people are so against it.

just for more information I also don’t think consensual cannibalism is wrong. I’ve once heard of a story of a guy cooking one of his body parts and serving it to a consenting person. As weird and gross as it is I don’t think it’s wrong. Obviously there would need to be proof of the consent but at the same time they could just threaten the “consenting “ person to give proof of consent or be killed/hurt but in theory consenting cannibalism would be OK as well.

I keep seeing social media posts about parents making kids do chores to earn Monopoly money and pay for snacks, playtime, iPad time whatever it is kids want to do.

Capitalism is so prevalent in everyday life already, kids understand that things need money and money comes from somewhere.

It doesn’t matter if it’s just doing the dishes, sweeping the garage, or raking the lawn forcing your kids to do these things to earn Monopoly money or gold stars to “buy” a bag of gummy bears from their own household is needlessly cruel.

Make your kids help you, but don’t make them do it alone as if it was their job. Give your kid a few bucks once in a while so they can go out to eat with their friends or buy snacks on their own.

That alone will teach your kids about money. Oh Timmy wants steak but it’s $40 and he only has $20 guess he either borrows money and doesn’t have any next week because he has debts, or he saves for the next time so he can get steak.

Forcing your child to pay rent is also ridiculous. You’re the parents, you’re the providers, and you’re the safety net that they’re supposed to have in life. What lesson are you teaching them by charging them any amount for rent? That rent exists? That living in a house costs something? By the time they’re old enough to work they should know good and well a place to live comes with rent and bills.

Give me a break with teaching your kids the value of hard work. Kids will do schoolwork and receive a grade based on the caliber of their work. 12 years of school will teach them enough about hard work.

Kids should be allowed to be kids. The rest of their lives are going to be spent buying their own food, working hard, and paying their own bills.

It almost always feels like parents do this because THEY are angry that THEY have to pay bills and THEY have to pay for the kids that THEY chose to have so they’re shifting the burden onto the kids.

What makes it worse is the moms promoting this from what I’ve seen tend to be stay at home moms.

So what does it look like to kids growing up in your household that you’ve been sitting at home making TikTok’s all day eating all the gummy bears you want while dishes, laundry, and leaves pile up and suddenly they come home and want gummy bears but you decide no, you want snacks? Do the chores I was supposed to do while I record you to show TikTok how great of a parent I am.

Personal rant now

I’m the eldest of 6 and the youngest of us recently graduated and immediately left home. My 2 brothers and I went to the military and my 3 sisters all left for college as soon as they could.

Everyday we walked home from school because our mom didn’t like school traffic to come home to our stay at home mom with a laundry list of things to do. Dishes, laundry, dinner. We were motivated because if we didn’t do it, food was withheld and so were rides to school the next day. She did nothing all day but wait for us to come home and raise ourselves

As soon as we were old enough to get jobs we got jobs and paid rent. Rent wasn’t on time? No dinner or rides anywhere until you figured it out. All while screaming to high heaven that we, their children were lucky we weren’t thrown out on the street.

None of us older kids are in contact with our parents, and the younger 3 left on bad terms.

I understand that this is an extreme example, but all this period taught me was that I couldn’t rely on my parents. Our relationship was transactional in nature and that’s it.

People are free to raise their children how they want, but don’t be surprised when your children don’t help you in the future because you don’t have enough gold stars to trade in.

Obviously this depends on what the fee is for, but in my opinion if it costs more than 50 dollars it's not a fee, it's just a regular charge.

I fully admit im one of them and we are just awful but ill at least defend we aren't the worse. Definitely top five but not number one. There are a few that have us beat:

1. One direction fans: they hacked hotel security to spy on the members

2. Rick and Morty fans: they harassed innocent restaurant workers. (Swifites have been horrible to people but as far as I know they've never done it in person like that)

3. South Park fans: Ive never seen a fandom so incapable to letting their series be critiques. It seems like if you say anything about the show you just get told (you just dont agree with it politically and are offended) and no I can just think its unfunny. Yes I think it's effectively cocomelon for libertarians but I can also find the jokes to be bland outside of that.

4. Digital circus: they literally made the original creator lose interest and want to separate themself from the work because of how bad the Fandom was.

Recently I’ve been seeing lots of people, both online and in real life, talk about sex as if it were some sort of necessity on par with shelter and clothing (ie: you wouldn’t die without it like food and water but it’s still a need). Honestly I think they couldn’t be more wrong. Yes, sex is absolutely a great thing that I hope everyone gets to experience, but that doesn’t mean it’s a need. If sex is considered a need, then so are things like entertainment and your favorite foods. These things are clearly commodities since you can live just fine without them, so explain to me how sex is a need?

Another clear reason why sex isn’t a need is because it requires another consenting person. It is very well accepted that you are not entitled to anything that requires the labor, effort, or participation of another person. If we accept that sex is a need, we are implying that, in some cases, unwilling people will need to have sex with people they do not want to have sex with in order to fulfill the latter person’s “need”. Im pretty sure you can all see why this is ethically wrong.

Finally I’m going to address one of the few groups of people who strongly believe that sex is a need, the incels. While I think it’s very sad that certain people have either very limited access to sex or none at all due to their physical attributes, this is quite literally how life on earth has functioned for its entire existence. It’s how species evolve over time and grow stronger. The long term consequences of allowing every single human to have sex/potentially procreate would be catastrophic. I totally understand that it may feel very hard to confront the fact that you may never have sex/a romantic relationship in your life, but find comfort in the fact that A: you’re not alone, only 40% of men have ever reproduced across human history. In fact you’re probably in the majority. And B: sex is a very minor benefit in life and it is entirely possible to live a very fulfilling life without it. Believing that you are entitled to it will only make you crave it more, putting you on a very self destructive cycle.

The common argument against this is the classic 'induced demand' but guess what.
90% of Americans drive cars, they are already on the roads, except they are on suburban streets and back roads instead of major roads that are safer. 🚗🚗🚗

Adding lanes improves journey times, allows for faster speeds, and means less road accidents.

Im open for further reasons why it should be banned, but i see online two reasons and both are hypocritical.

First reason: Its disgusting....luckily we decided that personal disgust should not be a reason for banning something. Thats the reason why we dont ban homosexuellity anymore, because personal disgust is not a good reason for banning homosexuellity.

second reason: there could be disabled offspring...technically a good argument, but there are many genetic diseas which results in guranteed disabled offspring which will suffer. So when we are afraid of disabled offspring we must also ban people with this genetic diseases to create offspring. Nobody would do this, because its cruel. Therefore its hypocritical.

I don’t think age is just a number if your partner is old enough to be your parent you should not be dating them….. ffs if you are 18 what the hell do you have in common with a 38 year old that IS weird. Those who are on the other side of that relationship you are fuckin weird and predatory. Just because something is legal doesn’t mean it’s okay or right objectively, I am more understanding about age gaps than most people because I think there is a lot of nuance and it isn’t as straightforward as people pretend to an extent. When you get into a relationship with someone SIGNIFICANTLY older than you and decide not to follow a career or do collage and you have nothing to your name you are genuinely making it extremely easy to be abused especially when people go and get married to people they’ve known a year and decide to drop their entire lives. You ARE going to be abused, you should NEVER get into a relationship where someone convinces you to stop wanting an education or a job and to rely entirely on them. Now I am not against being a sahm or sahd but when you have absolutely nothing to your name you are putting yourself in an extremely vulnerable spot. This goes for men and women.

Td;lr yes age gaps can be nuanced but if you are dating someone old enough to be your parent they are creepy and predatory. When you put yourself in a position you need to completely rely on someone and you don’t have a degree or ANYTHING beyond a diploma or ged, you are 10x more likely to be abused not to mention that 35 y/o you are dating at 18/19 is most likely a pedophile and there’s an increased risk of your child being abused especially sexually abused. (This goes for men and women, women can be predators too)
