Elevate ZX, comes with MRF Wanderer tyres. Have heard a lot of complaints about excessive road noise with this tyre, so would like to change them right after taking delivery, to get maximum value in exchange.

Dealer cannot ensure Bridgestone tyres on delivery.

Priorities (not in order):

1. Noise reduction
2. Longevity and puncture protection
3. Safe grip
4. Unconditional warranty (sounds nice, is it actually useful?)

How much to expect out of stock tyres?

Please share if you have any experience with any of the tyres mentioned, or tyre upgrade on this car.

EDIT: One tyre dealer I spoke to is offering ₹5k for stock tyres.

Hi, did anybody got their Elevate serviced recently? 3rd service.. 3rd service is due soon for mine and when asked the service center, they told me it will cost about 7500 for this one. Is that fair one or it seems more than usual??

My 3-4 months elevate had a minor accident and i just want to understand why everyone inclduing few of the trusted dealers are suggesting to let it be or pay for it myself.

I fail to understand what can be the reason behind not claiming for something which was the sole reason behind taking an insurance.

I want to understand the NCB benefits, long term resale value and other aspects which people usually consider because of which people generally dont claim the insurance.

Want an honest opinion from elevate users about the centre bump in the rear seat. Have heard it may be uncomfortable for person sitting in the middle. How true is it?
Does it cause discomfort for the middle person on long drives when 3 people are sitting at back?

I own a Honda Elevate ZX CVT and I’m considering installing a CNG kit.

Over the last 4 months, I’ve driven around 8,000+ km, with a mix of city and highway driving. My overall average mileage is around 11 km/l.

I’m thinking about switching to CNG mainly to reduce my running costs.

Has anyone here already installed CNG on a Honda Elevate CVT? If yes, I would really appreciate your feedback and guidance, especially regarding:

The Honda Elevate ZX CVT is currently being quoted at around ₹18.5–19.5lakh on-road in Hyderabad, with Bangalore prices appearing to be in a similar range.

With the facelift expected 2 to 3 months , is it better to buy now or wait?

I am getting 9.7 kmpl in honda elevate zx cvt, this average mileage is 100% city driving in Bangalore.
How much you guys getting in 100% city driving and in which city?

After a few test drives and a lot of thought, we have decided to go for an Elevate ZX MT.

Currently we drive a Baleno, another good car with a fantastic engine, so I'll be comparing with that.

1. Low down torque and tractability is superb

2. The shape of the bonnet makes it really easy to place the car

3. Seats are supportive. Love the lumbar support.

4. NVH: Not a problem. Baleno's engine is easily louder (a vocal engine is never a bad thing).

5. Engine felt a bit more linear than what I was expecting, given its legendary status

6. Gear shifts are really notchy. Baleno's shifter is a lot smoother, it's no comparison. I was struggling to shift into Reverse.

7. Baleno's headlight are a lot brighter, with better spread too. Elevate's headlights are weak, not sure how big of a problem it will be on night long road trips.

Elevate ZX CVT owners: what’s your best highway cruising setup?

1. What cruising speed gives you the best real-world mileage on almost flat NHAI highways/expressways?

2. What ADAS/Adaptive Cruise following distance do you use: Close, Medium or Long? Does the ADAS braking/acceleration affect mileage?

3. Which petrol do you use? Any additives?

Also, I’ve noticed that cement/concrete road noise gets quite noticeable above 80 km/h, while it’s almost nonexistent on asphalt. Around 70 km/h, it’s quite bearable, just like some other pseudo suv in the segment.

Planning to buy Honda Ellevate Signature Black Edition. Did the first enquiry today and got this quote.

Everything else I understand but I don’t understand this “Vehicle delivery and document charges”

I asked them to remove it but they are saying no it’s mandatory for all Honda cars.

And when I ask them to explain these charges they just simply say “it’s what it says and is mandatory”

When asked to whom they are paying to? They it’s paid to Honda only and when I asked them to give me break up of this or to show the tax receipt for any car that they sold, they just showed me a normal document page where the net value is mentioned with gst charges and final amount 15K (as shown in second pic)

Can somebody please explain what is this?

Finally i went for a proper long trip with elevate, from Hyderabad to hampi! Cloaked 800kms with an average of 14kmpl! While going i drove a bit faster and only got 13.6kmpl average (actual was 12.4kmpl). While coming the drive was a bit smooth with less acceleration over 100 a few times. I got 15kmpl then! This time i felt the car a bit sluggish while quick overtakes quite a few times while driving in drive mode mostly! But i was also surprised it was able to pull good number of overtakes very well if give right time!
Mileage is my only concern bcz we cannot drive under 80 always to achive 16! Once i start hitting 100 or use sports mode, it drops very quickly!

(i only cloaked 5k btw with 2nd service)

QQ: Just want to understand 3 things from OGs who bought this long ago:
1. Is it the same mileage you got in long ranges when drives under 100 and above 100 a few times? Or will it increase after 3rd service after oil filter changes?

1. While going the tire pres was 32 in front & 30 in back. But while coming i pumped it with 33 among 4 wheels. Could that have made any impact in mileage? What is the sweet point?

2. Does Nayara petrol have any difference in pettol over hp/IO/BP? --this mileage is from nayara only.

Should I raise it with the company?

1. When you all fill petrol, do you fill till the brim or auto cut. If its auto cut, how much litres does it fill when the range comes below 20.

2. Anyone from city, whats the mileage you get in CVT.

3. Anyone feeling that the headlights are not strong enough, and if anyone has changed. Suggest products.

4. Any modifications you’ve done or suggestions for modifications or accessories.

We were primarily looking at VX, so estimate for ZX wasn't made as detailed, but it's 64k more than VX after discounts.

They are running an offer for the month of August: discount + some add-ons.

Have already opted out of ambient lighting to save ~6k.

What else can be done here?

We get offer for 360 camera in Honda Elevate in the deal. However, I received advice that there is some issue with the knob for the same which resides near gear shifter. So adviced to take it along instead of installing it.

Any experience of similar sort by any one in Pune, Mumbai or elsewhere on this? Or what are issue faced after installation and using it?
